I was in a road trip with my family from the South bay area to Bakersfield . I'm so glad my car broke down were it did on the 5 Fwy , I had to exit the fwy and I found this place with great reviews on and I was glad to make the best decision ever to stop by and bring it over to this place. As soon as I pull in I'm not sure if the guys name was Chubby , but he said will get you taken care of and will get the car checked out on the spot didint even wait more than 4 min for someone to look at it, and right away even though they were extremely busy ( Had my 4 kids with me) Chubby sent Braulio immediately to diagnosethe problem with my Dodge Durango and let me tell you he was amazing. Took the engine cover off and a few other things and added water to the radiator to see where it was leaking and diagnosed the problem within minutes. He showed me the problem as soon as he spotted it . Found out that the thermostat housing has a big whole in it. They got the part ordered right away didint even had me waiting for a long time , and Louie got the part installed really quickly they even cleaned up the throttle for me , went above and beyond. They had me back on the road between 1 hour to get everything done and continued to my destination.. made it out there safely and got back home with out any problems. I can't thank you guys enough. You guys are the best and I really appreciate you guys for all of your hard work, being very friendly and nice, especially you guys hooked me up and gave me a really great price everything you guys did for $185. Was expecting to be a minimum $500 dollar job or more. Loved the customer service, honesty, getting in and out fast , and couldn't thank you guys enough... I truly highly recommend this place for any of your automotive needs . Thanks once again guys.

This shop is honest, trustworthy, and incredibly kind. When my car broke down in the middle of the 405, they diagnosed the problem right away and walked me through my options. The final work came in significantly under their estimate, and they even changed the oil and got it washed. Above all, they were patient and easy to talk to. I felt like family, and they really took care of me. Thank you Chubby and Nick!

Family owned, and they are honest. They don't take advantage of people who don't know about cars and try to sell them services that they don't need. I am really happy to do business with them and looking forward to visiting their shop again.

I'm unbelievably thankful to Chubby and his crew for helping me out. Everyone at the shop is so friendly and informative. When I told him my budget, he made everything happen without any confusion or fuss. I got my brakes replaced (among other fixes) and my car feels like new again. Without a doubt will be returning for any future work needed on my car.

Great place. There more you re friends then mechanics. And care more about your safety and satisfaction then your money. The guys there were friendly, F A S T, and cheap. Best mechanics in the valley by far. 100/10 would recommend

I've been going to Chubby for years and he's a great guy. But the work lately has been shoddy and Chubby has been unable to get things working in a timely manner. Repair times on some problems have stretched into months and months. The latest one -- he rebuilt an engine for me - a four month process ending in September. The day after I got it back, it started smoking really badly. Now, over 2 months later, he just opened it up last week and hasn't ordered the parts he needs to repair it. Update: He put it back together but it stalled at a stoplight the first time I drove it and had trouble restarting, so there's still a major problem. Plus the headliner is falling down, caps are missing, and one of the taillights is broken. Not willing to offer a refund or pay for any of the damage. I'm just out $2k.

Chubby was so much help. I was traveling home to Northern California after visiting friends in LA and my car freaked out right before the Grapevine. Chubby and his family took care of me and my car. They were very honest, fair, and accommodating. It's a family owned business and when my car was in his hands, I felt like I was part of the family as well. He would be my regular mechanic if I lived in the area. He even called me later to make sure my car was performing properly and to see if I made it home alright. Thank you Chubby Automotive!

Far best Mechanic OUT here. I Like Chubby he doesn't try to get one over on anybody. Very reasonable prices. Knows excalty what he is doing when it comes down to business. Working on cars. Getso the job done with no hesitation at all. What so ever. He is the bomb. Now me and my family go there if any problems. What's so ever.
