Quality work with true integrity. 15 years ago, my transmission went out less than a week before I had to report to my first duty station in TX. They went beyond my expectations and were able to get it done so I could report on time.I am back in the Bay and have recently had work done on a 22 year old Tahoe. Not only did they take care of my known issues, once again, they let me know of other maintenance issues and did some little extras. Thank you Don John Automotive and employees for the peace of mind in keeping my family safe on the road.

Over 5 years, never a bad experience. That was especially good: he did above and beyond (found a small light that needed to be replaced, did it for no charge, would have been hard for me)

Tony and his crew are simply the BEST! "Don & John's Automotive" is what every car owner hopes to find when they need help with their car! Tony is honest, straight forward, exceptionally knowledgeable, and does excellent work - and always at a very competitive rate! It appears that Tony and his crew always do a little extra to your car as well but never mention it or charge you for it! I can't put my finger on it, but it's a great feeling! The system in which they use at this shop is a winning one - for everyone! 5 all the way! These guys are the real deal, a rare to find trusted mechanic. It's clear walking In to the shop that they are organized, clean and have certified mechanics. They fixed my Ford edge but I saw All types of cars being serviced. Highly recommended, good work Tony and team.

I never write a review after using a place for one time and this is why.I've been at this place twice: the first time I had an issue with the ball joints and they fixed.The second time was a week ago when I came to ask for an estimate for 60K maintenance and some extra tasks. A person behind the counter, I think his name is Tony, told me that he's is pretty packed but would call me back the same day or the next day.Totally fine, no problem on my side. Nobody called me the same day, nor the next day. After a wait for one more day I called and reminded about myself and the estimate and Tony apologized and told me that he would definitely !!! call me back the same day.Of course, he didn't... I called the next day and he told me, this time without any excuses, that he's busy.Maybe they are good, but this is the problem, you have to chase them and remind them about their promises. Will I give them my business? No!! Do they care? Of course no, they are busy.Tips to the management: It's totally fine if you can't give an estimate the same day, week, month or a year. But keep your promises, or don't give any.

We have used Don & John's Automotive for over 14 years now. They are trustworthy, knowledgable, fairly priced and efficient. Our car has been consistently well cared for by their mechanics. I highly recommend trying them you will be glad you did!

Good repair shop. I am not easily trusting of automotive repair shops. I know of many that overcharge and do poor quality work.This is not the case with Don & John's. They are honest and do good work. While I usually perform most car repairs myself at home, I do trust them at this shop.

Courteous, clean, orderly. Detailed breakdown of work and cost of service. Knowledgeable. Patient with my questions. Don t feel they are trying to sell me unneeded services. Tony is a great listener and explains matters in a clear and understandable format for the lay person. A pleasant experience in the somewhat fraught environment of automotive upkeep/repair.

HONEST and AWESOME repair shop! They gave me the estimate for free(dealer would charge $150 for investigation only) and explain the problem to me. They were not trying to me scare me into doing some expensive fix/maintenance like other shops did. And Tony is super friendly.

Total rip off scamers that s all a lie about their reviewsGuys these guys are insurance fraud Plse take a pic of ur car before u take it to them they will destroy ur car 10 times more to collect and scam the insurance companyWhen u look at car fax on ur car ur car will depreciate by farThey do anything to scam and fraud the insurance companies

Exceptional service! Found their business on Google, and based on reviews there, decided to give them a call. I needed to have a headlight bulb replaced on my '04 accord (not a simple task as you have to get under the car - bad design!). I already had a bulb from a previous attempt, so they only charged me labor ($40). While there they pointed out that one of my brake lights was also out. They were only going to charge me for the part, but as it turned out I had a bulb for that too, so they installed it for free! And thanks to my AAA membership, I got a 10% discount! Was in and out in 15 minutes. I'll definitely be using them in the future!

This was my first visit as my previous shop has closed. I had to get my COVID-casualty car towed. They communicated well, weren't pushy, the work orders are very clear, and when I picked up my car, they had even cleaned the filthy windows inside and out. That's service.

Don And John automotive is a rare place where you can find a honest and fair mechanic. I have been taking my car to them since 2002. If You need a good mechanic just check them out.

My car battery died, called AAA, Fortes driver jump started and did a check my battery and asked to drive every other day , but first I need to Don & John's for slow charging, which is overnight.
