Simply the best service option anywhere in the Bay Area. Tony is wonderful, honest, and efficient. SLT was able to do an oil change, check my alignment, and perform a full inspection determining that I should get new brake pads (which I suspected but forgot to tell them!). They quickly called me, explained the situation, exact cost, and asked for authorization to do a same day purchase of genuine Toyota parts from their supplier. By some miracle they were able to procure the parts the same day and finish the entire job with brake flush in a few hours.On top of all that the total came out half of what I've seen other independent shops charge (let alone what dealerships charge). Don't go anywhere else, SLT is the only honest and reliable option!

Toyota dealer master technician with his own shop working on Lexus and Toyota vehicle. They won't upsell you service or repair like those service advisors at the dealer. Majority of parts are OEM. This is highly recommended shop for your Toyota or Lexus.

This shop and crew was great! They diagnosed the problem with my Camry immediately and provided quick and affordable services so I could get it fixed asap. I also really appreciate Tony s and Simon s help they were amazing and helped me understand what the problem was. Overall a 11/10 service and I ll definitely be coming back for any future problems!

Tony and Simon are very talented and are honest with their pricing. They charged me 900 less than my mechanic whom I've been going to for years. I appreciate their honesty and service. I will be a customer for life.

I got a tow hitch installed on my Toyota Highlander. Simon and Tony were courteous, professional and very friendly. They did some really solid work.Pricing was transparent and service was very quick.I appreciated how easy it was to get a hold of them and schedule the appointment only with a 24 hr notice.Highly recommend!

This is easily the best shop I've ever been to for Toyota maintenance. Incredible workmanship. Only uses OEM parts/fluids. Tony and Simon are honest, no-pressure, and very friendly. Tony has Toyota Master Technician certification and is also certified by Toyota to work on hybrids. Very competitive prices. Make sure to schedule an appointment 1-2 weeks in advance.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

I came here to replace the driver side inside door handle, Tony squeezed me into the same day schedule which is helpful. The handle was replaced with a quick and clean way( Tony is flexible to use the non OEM part that I ordered online), he also helped me to change the brake light bubble, the price is very reasonable as well. Recommend this business to any of your Toyota car needs.

Tried to upsell me on services/repairs I didn't need. I confirmed as much when I got a second opinion from another local shop. Suffice to say, I won't be coming back here.

I used to live 5 minutes away from this place and saw the previous reviews so I decided to check it out. All I needed was a quick oil change and quick and painless it was!! I called in advance and made an appointment. When I showed up for my appointment, the owner Tony greeted me and he even remembered my car model and that I was coming for an oil change!! No big deal, but I appreciated that. He s a super honest guy, won t charge you for a bunch of extra work you didn t ask for. But he will check your car for anything else that may need some work and make some good recommendations for you with upcoming maintenance that your car needs. I ve been to a handful of places, and this by far is the best. Unmatched quality service for a reasonable price and done in a timely fashion. I live about 15 minutes away now, but I STILL will continue to make the drive over to see Tony because he s the best!! No complaints from this loyal customer!! I will keep coming here as long as I live in the area.Service: Oil change

Highly recommend SLT auto repair for your auto repair/maintenance needs! I made an appointment for an oil change, and this is the first time I've done maintenance outside of a Toyota dealership. I am definitely planning on coming back here for any car maintenance needed in the future!The oil change was super fast and the price is unbeatable! My car was also fully inspected as a plus. The master technician Tony takes the time to explain what he's doing and also takes care to address any questions about your car if you're curious! Tony is honest and does not sell you services that you don't need.SLT Auto Repair is exactly what I am looking for in a trusty auto repair shop -- great service, great price, and honest!

Tony was recommended to me by my friend. He has 10+ years of experience working at Stevens Creek Toyota dealership and is super knowledgeable and friendly. He really took the time to explain to me what he did. Super happy with my experience and will definitely come back! Thanks Tony!2 years later, I still have to say Tony is the best. He helped me out even on his day off. Due to miscommunication, I accidentally booked a Monday appointment with him without knowing that his shop was closed on Monday. However, he showed up and resolved my car's issue within 30 min. I have not seen anyone who cares so much for his customers. Thank you so much for all your help!

I Had oil change done and they rotate a tire also for free and applied 10% new costumer discount, Definitely beat any place for service and maintenance, and their costumer service is incredible, Simon and Tony both are friendly and trusted guy who worked in Toyota Lexus for so long and now their service is even better than Toyota and they use all the oem parts as Toyota does and they don t try to sell the parts which is not required. Honest people and best auto repair shop in the town of Sunnyvale.Services: Auto maintenance, Oil change

It was time to look for a new local mechanic for my cars and I'm glad I found SLT auto repair. They have a very nice and clean shop that shows their organization and detail. They were quick to respond to a quote request on Yelp and provided not only the best price for an oil change on my Lexus but made sure to inform me of any potential issues with no pressure to buy. Tony is friendly and provides great customer service. These guys are really about helping the customer and you can tell by your interaction with them. And they use OEM products! I went in search for an alternate repair shop for my Toyota Prius as I was finally fed up with the long waits, high costs, and constant up-selling of services at a Toyota dealership. I found my new repair shop at SLT Auto Repair. At SLT, I was given excellent service at a reasonable price by Tony, a former senior Toyota dealership technician.The two things I needed this time around were a MillerCAT catalytic converter shield and a transmission fluid change. For the shield, I called five different places. Tony at SLT gave me the most informed answers and quoted the best price. He has the MillerCAT shield in stock and has installed many in the past. For the transmission fluid change, I was charged less than half the price quoted by the dealership. Instead of waiting all day to get my car back at the dealership, Tony completed the work in an hour and a half.I am very happy with both the catalytic converter shield install as well as the transmission fluid change. In addition to being skillful, efficient and reasonably priced, Tony is pleasant and easy to talk to. Talking to Tony about my car was a breath of fresh air compared to talking to the dealership service rep. Tony knows what he is talking about, tells you what exactly what needs to be done, and does not try to sell you on unnecessary services. I will definitely be back to SLT Auto Repair for my next Prius service. Highly Recommended.

These owners are awesome and very nice and straight forward. I came in the same day I inquired through Yelp and they let me know the next day what was going on with my car and what it would cost without charging for an inspection. Reliable and trustworthy! I highly recommend seeing these guys for Toyota/Lexus specialties or even basic maintenance on another car. If it's not a problem with the engine/motor and anything huge, go to them for brakes/oil changes, etc. I'll recommend all of my friends in the area to go to these guys.

If you own a Toyota or Lexus, this is the place to go! Tony was super helpful. He will answer all of your questions with a big smile. The pricing is too good to be true! I went for 40K routine maintenance. He did Oil change, tire rotation, all fluid check and refill and also replaced the car key battery for only 1/6 th of the charge that Toyota Service center was asking! I will never visit any other service station as long as SLT Auto Repair is available!

This shop is incredible! Tony and Simon were so kind and skilled. I came in with my Mazada 3 to get an oil change. I was able to watch the whole process from the waiting room which was cool. They found an oil leak in the transmission and brought me in to the work room to see the leak for myself. Tony explained in detail what he would need to do to fix the leak and what parts are needed. Although they normally specialize in Toyota and Lexus, they are so skilled and knowledgable that this fix was not beyond their expertise. I was leaving he next day for a long road trip. Tony was very accommodating and got the parts needed for the fix that same day. The car was up and running by noon the day I needed to leave. And the price was very reasonable. I am so happy to have found a GREAT mechanic shop in San Jose and will recommend them to ALL my friends and family!Services: Transmission, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

We had an excellent experience with Tony & Simon of SLT Auto Repair earlier this week. Due to the rising numbers of catalytic converter thefts recently (especially in the Toyota Prius), we had a catalytic converter shield/ guard installed to deter theft.I returned this Saturday (yes, they have convenient weekend and evening hours available!) because Tony had helped identify a problem with the serpentine/ drive belt (cracked) and water pump (leaking coolant). He showed me the new, boxed OEM Toyota parts he would be using before he started the work. With my car on the lift, he showed me where the coolant was leaking from the old water pump. He also showed me the old cracked belt vs the new one he would be installing side by side, so I could see the difference. Tony is very knowledgeable, work was completed in the time estimated, and pricing was extremely competitive.Overall Experience:-Prior to booking the appointment, they were very responsive in answering questions over Yelp messages. Rates are very reasonable, and I was able to schedule with them quickly and easily.-At appointment, I had further clarification questions about the process and hardware used, and both Tony & Simon were extremely helpful, thorough, and patient in their explanations. They took the time to show me exactly what they would be using.-Appointment started on time, and work was completed in the time they estimated. The work was done well and efficiently.-They took the time to help check a few other maintenance issues and were very helpful in identifying problems and solutions.-Tony & Simon have been Toyota certified mechanics at the dealer for many years and opened SLT 11/2019 (precovid). Their shop was very tidy, organized, and well-ventilated; they both wore masks, and I felt safe.-Their packaged snacks and coffee for customers is also a nice touch. Guest Wifi was helpful to have available as I was able to join a Zoom video call and get some work done while my car was being serviced.HIGHLY RECOMMEND SLT for any maintenance and any work for your catalytic converter (replacement if stolen and/ or guard for preventative measures). I already recommended them to another Prius owner that same day because I was so pleased with the experience here. Will definitely be returning for other maintenance issues to help maintain smooth functioning of my Toyota/ Lexus vehicles!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Just had my brakes done here and man what an awesome experience! Tony was very professional. Clean shop, love how they mostly use OEM parts! He gave me a first time customer discount, really appreciated that. Definitely will be coming back here for my 4Runner needs!

I wish there is a 10 star for Tony. My 2015 Toyota Camry was due for an oil change, tire rotation, air filter replacement, and my Factory Auto Maintenance has expired. I was impressed by so many Toyota & Lexus repair certificates Tony has. Actually he has been working in a Toyota dealer for more than 18 years. The parts in his store are all OEM parts. Tony's price is less than that of dealers but his service is much better. He explained to me how to maintain my car, when to replace brake fluid, when to change brake pad and how not to be cheated by dishonest dealers/repair shops. I will definitely come back for my car's future maintenance.

My Lexus was having a/c leak issues. They kept the car for a few hours and replaced some seals and gaskets and filled the a/c with refrigerants. Very professional repair shop.They were very efficient and and I would recommend them to my family and friends!!!

I feel very lucky to have found Tony. I had some mysterious electrical problems with my wife s Lexus IS250. After trying to fix them myself, I had a low-cost mobile mechanic try to repair it. After he gave up, I searched for a Lexus expert on Yelp and found SLT.Tony was polite and gave me a fair quote. I m so glad I decided to go with him. He has 20+ years of experience as a service center mechanic for Toyota and Lexus. He correctly diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly and communicated promptly with me via text message while he worked. He even through in a few small services for free!If you have a Toyota or Lexus, I highly recommend giving Tony a call.

Excellent service! I got a tire plugged and brake rotors resurfaced. I initially went to the Sunnyvale Toyota dealership service center, and they took forever to help me and quoted me over $700! Needed an emergency repair on the front brakes before my family headed back east in 2 days. (2000 miles plus driving). Driving 84 for a month will do its toll on a vehicle. 2 days ago I noticed some odd noises coming from the front brakes and I knew they had to be looked at. Tony diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and had the repair done all in the same day. The vehicle is driving nicely again.I drive a 2011 Toyota Sequoia Platinum Edition 4 x 4.Thanks again TonyMabuski

I do my oil change and tire rotation here with a very reasonable price. Tony is a really good one and he got everything done in 20 mins. I highly recommend everyone to come to this place for anything issue related to you car :)

Called a few places and they would not even give me a estimate, I I called and spoke to Tony of SLT auto, and he quoted me over the phone, I brought the car down he called me a hr later after inspection, he said I didn't need work I thought I needed and I just needed back brakes done. Price was what he quoted. completed in 4 hrs from time of call.I will be returning for sure.ThanksService: Brakes

SLT diagnosed and fixed an intermittent cooling fan vibration problem that other shops could not solve. SLT did a complete safety check, finding and fixing several small problems i.e. dirty air filters and burned out bulbs. SLT's shop is immaculate and their charges are reasonable.
