For a busy person who doesn't have much time and knowledge to deal with car problems, Lozano is the best choice. I have been using their services for 20+ years. 20+ years ago I had a problem with my car electric system (window). I brought it to the auto shop I used to work with for two years. They did diagnosis and worked on the fixes three times, costing me a lot of time-off from work, frustration in arranging pickup, and near $1000, but the problems still existed. With friend's recommendation I took my car to Lozano. They fixed the long-bothering issue in 5 minutes (wire not well connected) at no charge. Since then, I have become a loyal customer till now.My most recent experience with Lozano was for an issue associated with the warning sign lit-up. It was actually due to the problem of the gas cap not being tightly closed and a reset being needed. This happened a few years ago, and the Toyota dealer charged me $210 for diagnosis despite I had a very expensive 7-year warranty. This time I called to check the availability, Lozano told me the diagnosis charge was $150 vs. $249 by the Toyota dealer, which is much closer to me and had a lot of available slots. But I still chose Lozano with an expectation of 5-7 hours' waiting time. Unexpectedly I received their call within an hour, informing me that my car was ready for pickup (just a re-set needed). They even waived the diagnosis fees and also did some other minor fix on something they noticed, all at no charge.In the past 25 years, I had changed two cars, but what has remained unchanged is my loyalty to Lozano. Their honesty and professional services, buidling up my trust, are the drivers. Highly recommend Lozano.

I asked for an inspection of creaking noises. The mechanic didn t seem sure about the root cause and performed extra services that I didn t consent to. It didn t even fix the issue like he claimed it did. I still have intense creaking in my car despite the tightening of parts and half hour test drive. They say it s a natural sound because of my low mileage but it doesn t make sense. So many used cars with low mileage don t sound like this. I feel taken advantage of. This was an extra $45. I don t recommend this shop.

Amazing experience!I am just another software guy in the bay area, looking for ways to fix an issue I had with my BMW 340i. I was exploring auto services in and around SVL/MTV and came across Lozano. Usually when I see such positive reviews (all close to 5 stars), I am a little skeptical and always think the reviews are faked of sort. Either way, I decided to give this place a shot.My BMW's under car shield had torn apart and BMW quoted high fees to replace them. When I went there, Vince first came out to inspect the car. Vince took the car inside, put it on the machine that lifted my car up. With this, we were able to clearly see what the damage was.Vince and Troy together spent time removing the torn parts out so that my car was at least in a drivable condition. They spent 15 minutes, passionately explaining various parts of the undercover shield. After that, they told me precisely which parts I needed to replace, which was fewer than what BMW had asked for.After this was done, Vince just lowered my car and said I was set to go, NOT EVENING ASKING FOR ANY $. I was stunned and very pleasantly surprised. They never charge you without knowing any upfront costs. In this case, I felt they definitely deserved to be paid so I decided I would come back to them with the new parts and pay them then.As promised, I came back with the new parts I purchased from BMW and once again, Vince and his team fixed it for me at a very low cost.If you are looking for no BS, perfect pricing and passionate set of folks, this is the place to go!In picture, you can see Troy helping me out :)Kudos to Troy and Vince!Thank you Lozano :)

The work I needed done was not that complicated, but I was initially hesitant to use Lozano Auto Service since I did not know anything about them. They turned out to be great! I interacted with Paul and Khanh, and both of them were professional and very pleasant. The work was done very well, completed on time, and at a fair price. Excellent experience. I definitely recommend them, and will return for other work when needed.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Watch out - New owner w/ focus on return on investment. Not as friendly as before. Loyal customers not appreciated.Went to replace my brake pads and rotors. The experience is mixed and I realized that the shop has a new owner. So if you are a return customer like me, please be mindful and prepared.Here is my story - I visited the shop this March for an oil change for my Volvo. Vince (the owner) and guys got it done. Also they told me the wearing measure of the brake pads. Nice! So I decided to come back in 6 months or so.Called earlier and Paul provided an estimated cost and asked me to bring the car in and leave it there in next morning. So I was there before 8:30.By 5pm, the job is done and I paid 15% more than the estimated. That's okay. Estimate is just an estimate! But it looks like they don't take care of the customers like the previous owner/team did.It's clear that current owner does not appreciate the loyal customers and wanted to make some quick return on investment. The owner told me that he paid over $6K for a diagnostic/testing equipment/panel so they need to 'make it back'. I can understand from his perspective.... but "the making quick money mentality" does not work in auto service!

Highly recommend this shop! Took my Mercedes for a secondary air injection pump issue. Khanh explained exactly what the problem is and what needs to be done to be fixed. They also showed the parts that were going to be installed. The whole process took less than a few hours. They were communicative and delivered on their promise. Paul was instrumental with communication. They were both experienced and knew what they were doing. Overall very professional experience.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

Highly recommend Lozano!! They are really good at their jobs. I ve been coming here with my Toyota Prius since 2018 and my car never ran into problems. All the staffs are very nice there. Though they are not as fancy as some big companies besides them but they never try to sell you stuff or make you pay more services. Also, If you don t wanna wait in the line, I recommend to come at 8 am in the morning. Your car can usually get done within an hour

I really recommend Lozano. The 3 guys are great mechanics and figured out how to get my brakes sorted. They're honest and I overheard them tell a nearby customer how to save money on his car's cooling issue. They'll work with what you have and can repair many issue in 3 hours or less. Walk-ins are accepted and you can pay by credit card.

Techs were a huge help, had a stripped drain plug. Thought the pan would have to be replaced. Came in on my lunch for them to diagnose the problem and if it could be fixed. 20 Mins later the oil change was done. Speedy, very helpful, super reasonable pricing and Friendly! I went to this place after seeing great reviews. I called a week in advance to booked an appointment. When I went to dropped my car, I was told to bring in back in 2 days. No problem, they were too busy. I said, let s give a 2nd chance. I booked a 2nd appointment a week in advance. When I arrived, I was asked, if I have called before to booked the appointment. Finally they kept my car for 2 days. They never found what problem was. (VERY IMPORTANT) they told me they drove my car for about 15miles and no issues found. I took a picture of the miles before and after. See pictures. When I tried to bring my concerns to vince(owner), he used the F word and hang up on me.Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance

Excellent service. They listened to me and were friendly and honest.I came here based on my boss's recommendation after she heard about my struggle at Kia dealership. First I spoke with Vince and he quoted me several options for my brake repair based on how extensive the repair was going to be.When I came in following week , Paul was the one to take care of me. Price was right and everything got fixed. Paul even showed me the old parts and explained what was causing all the unpleasant noise. I'm so happy my car is finally running well.Thank you so much! My car run out of battery after months parking and also I found out there was some liquid on the battery. I am not sure if the battery was leaking so I dropped by and ask for a quick check to see if I need to replace it. The gentle man (sorry, I forgot his name) over there was very nice and did a battery test for me and also checked the liquid and told me he thinked that was some oil put by somebody else (maybe from my dealer when I did regular maintain) so I don't need to do anything. I was very happy for his professional service and he was so nice a people!

Went in for a smog check. Like always, Lozano's is friendly, quick, and professional. They are knowledgeable and thorough. I've never had a problem with them. They are the shop I take all my cars to.

I highly recommend this place I was referred by a friend, and I'm so happy. I needed a smog certificate, and an oil change. The car is old, and has been driving rough, I asked them to check it. they found I need a bearing, and brakes. The car rides so much better. I'm always a bit protective of my beloved old car and careful with who I trust it with. It needed a smog check so I called, dropped by, and was in and out very quickly. Very professional, excellent experience!

Recently discovered Lozano Auto Service when my van would not start. They quickly discovered the problem & required work for several days. I appreciated the fact that they kept me informed throughout those days about the progress in repairing my van & any additional issue's requiring authorization. This will now be my auto mechanic shop of choice & not the only one who recommends Lozano's.

Used to be a fantastic shop always putting covers on seats and paper floor mats but now that's not done and thier preventative maintenance is non existent not to mention the dirty hand prints getting your car back and having to go clean it yourself. Even though everybody there is very nice except for one of the mechanics who gets upset whenever he's asked to do something to help someone and makes nothing for it even though he's has to help a customer that's been there forever. It's too bad because they used to be so good.

I can't recommend this place enough. They are thoroughly professional and will explain every aspect of service and do a great job.I've had my car serviced here regularly for close to 3 years now. A couple of times, Pete even gave me a free jumpstart and air.

They r honest, which ain't easy it seems. Great quality, crazy fair prices. Hate to give my secrets away cause good auto repair can be hard to find. Dont want them to be too busy for me but they deserve it.

Wow! Lozano s knocked it out of the park today! We were in for one weekend and our son s car s AC stopped working and it was making a weird metallic sound. We called Friday. Paul Hensley took our call and said we could drop it off on Saturday morning. Later that day he called and had it all fixed. He was honest, fair priced and reliable. I would recommend Lozano s whole heartedly!

They should call him Honest Paul. He didn't try to convince me to get unneeded repairs although he easily could have. Smart for him in the long run I'll be back for sure.
