Local tire delivery takes over 3 days and the tire is no where in sight. Ordered a new replacement tire for a flat tire. The tech mentioned that the tire is sourced locally and next day the tire would arrive. Unfortunately other cars had same sized tires installed but not mine.Today the tech was unable locate the tire even today.Incredibly frustrating experience with no solution today.______________________Costco acknowledged the presence of a bug in their ordering system and plan to fix it. Tire was replaced after 3 weeks of wait outside tire shop.

I usually don't write reviews, but I am truly thankful to Aj and Dylan at Sunnyvale Costco Tire center. They took my car for flat tire replacement by sensing the urgency. The replacement tire was ordered and my scheduled appointment was after 5 days but the runflat tire on my car wouldn't have survived that long. Upon my request Dylan allotted Aj's time to take the car in and Aj did the job in less than 30 minutes. Delighted by their treatment.

I recommend you to buy tires from somewhere else, many similar deals online available out there, much better tire selection and servicing your tires (rotation and balancing) is a nightmare at Costco tire centers.It very very hard to make an appointment for tire rotation because they are too busy selling new tires.

Very rude staff. Very rude. I am generally a calm person, but if you want to teach your kids the word rude they do have really good classes to teach how to be rude. Customer service is pathetic overall yikes.

Had an emergency flat hissing tire and we were out of state far from home. Costco was the closest tire shop that was open. We tried calling ahead and no answer. We barely made it to the shop and they refused to help us entirely, wouldn t even look at our tire to see it was not drivable. They said earliest they could help us with a spare tire change was in 10 days and they dismissed us.Completely rude and unhelpful for emergencies.

The staffing levels were horrible. I waited in line 30 minutes before the tire center opened but I was not able to be seen that whole day.A woman in front of me had an appointment for 8am. When I was told to leave at 9:30am, she had still not been helped.

I got a flat tire while in the Costco parking lot. I didn t have an appointment and walked in to seek help. They replaced my tire with a spare one I owned, free of charge. I really appreciate them helping me out despite their busy schedule.

Waste of time - CA DMV has better service than this location.if you are bored and have no other things in life to do - please use Costco s tire services.This tire center was so busy that you have no hope of being serviced.If you are lucky enough to buy tires from them, chances are they are done with you and pray nothing ever happens to your tires.We bought 4 tires from Costco back in Dec of 2022 at this Sunnyvale location.6 months later, one of the 4 tires had a safety issue and not drivable.After hours of phone calls and 2 visits, we found out no tires available (the entire Costco was sold out of run flat tires ?!).This place1. Never picked up any phone calls. We called for hours.One can hear the phone ringing non stop if you are in store.2. Earliest possible appointments are at least one week out.3. Walk-in experience: we went twice.The first time it was at least 40 mins in line. They told us to order new tires of the same ones we bought online since our tires were within warranty period saying their system not allowing them to order.We went back the second time as there were no same tires available anymore within Costco s system.The second time was way worse:From morning 9am, the walk in line didn t move at all. After us waited 2.5 hrs being 3 in line and the supervisor Parla told us that they no longer took any walk ins.

Had 10 AM appointment and they asked me to wait for 2 hours. I got back after two and a half. My car was not even moved. Right after I asked the status, they moved the car and started working on the tire replacement.I had to wait anothet one and a hlaf hour wasting my time in front of the tire place doing nothing.The price of tires is more expensive than other places so I expected better and timely service. But, they didnt satisfy it.But, at least the people there friendly and kindly amswered my questions. So, I wont give one star. But time estimation is something definitely to improve

No one pickup the calls at costco tires, Nobody called me when my tire order arrived, After calling few times with no answer from costco tires, i had to call again to costco admin to connect costco tires dept. I was told by them that they can take 8 walkins, I was 3rd in queue, i spend 2 hours in queue at costco tires and they said you can try tomorrow again, AGAIN ?. Wow, lot of time time wasted. I will try some other tire place, instead of waiting in queue at costco tires.

Installation was good service and friendly staff. However having an appointment at 11am l, car get pulled in at noon and was ready 13:45. Not a great communication and planning. At least give an realistic estimate i was waiting nearly twice the time. Also having an appointment should not lead into one hour delays before the work starts

I got a service last Thursday, the person who inspected my car was nice and patient and suggested I purchase the tire with the original type and branch. And I call here next week, but the one who was answering the phone was impatient and mean. I was asking if I could purchase a tire elsewhere and install it in Costco. He asked that who said this rudely, and I was just asking politely.

There are two lines when you enter the facility: left line for walk-ins and battery purchases, while the right is for reservations. You would think that if there is no one with a reservation, the attendant should draw from the left line. Instead, she took someone standing in the right line who didn't read the sign, leaving those of who bothered to follow instructions to wait even longer.

Heed the nagtive reviews. I wish I had. Brought in 5 wheels for tires purchased online. Immediately after dropping them off, I watched in horror as they dropped them, damaging 1. Picked them up later the same day, only to discover a number of significant problems. 1) there were balance weights attached to the tire tread and the sidewal of the tire. This is incredibly sloppy. If they're somehow attaching errant weights to the exterior of the tire, what faith should I have that they did aanything else correctly? 2) Wheels and tires are covered in grease. 3) The tires are not balanced - like, not even close. They vibrate like crazy and I will need to take them back in for re-balancing (but 100% not back to this place.)In addition to the terrible mounting and balncing, which is not just incoveinent but downright unsafe, they also do not sufficiently staff their front desk area.

I had taken appointment for tire replacement 2 weeks in advance. I was told store gets busy, so going early would be good. I went there early, they checked me in but my tire replacement started 20mins after my appointment time.Costco doesn't have realtime online check-in/waiting system like American Tire does.If you don't have appointment it's recommended to do walk in 15-20mins before store opens, otherwise you might have to wait for long hours to get things fixed.

Never try to call Costco tire center. THEY WILL NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE, after calling all 3 stores in the San Jose area, NO ONE ANSWERS the phone, I decided on a different tire center

Went here to install a new set of tires for my CR-V. After the installation, the TPMS light stayed on while driving. So I went back to get it checked. The tech examined with a handheld sensor and said it was fine and that it would turn off after driving for a while.I come home and within a few hours I have a flat on both of my front tires due to improper installation.Nobody answers if you try to call them so I had to get my car towed the next day and tires remounted with a new TPMS at a local tire shop. Fortunately, there was no damage to the tires.Costco Warehouse might be great for everything else but avoid this location like a plague for anything tire related.

Want to give Costco tire center in Sunnyvale 5 stars. Ronald was helping us & his patience & perservance went above & beyond to resolve our needs while others were waiting. He was relentless until our needs were met! Much appreciated!

They have got reasonable tyre replacement service with favorable price. However, 3 stars given to the fact that they do not have good management. I had a 4pm appointment and was told I shall wait for 1-1.5hr to pickup my car. Hence I waited and hanged around in Costco. 1.5hr later, I saw my car still with the 4 old tyres on, along with another three cars pending to be operated for their own replacement. The staff told me due to low staffing, there is a longer wait time.If you have known how much scheduled tyre replacement you have for the day in advance, you should have collected enough resources to work on the replacement and fulfill the 1-1.5hr wait time for customer. Or if you have low staffing and knowing that tyre replacement are way behind, then when I asked for the wait time upon dropping off my car, you should have honestly told me expecting longer wait time of let s say 2+hrs. They did none of above possible option. I ended up wait for almost 3hrs onsite, which was a waste of my time, and apology or appreciation of customer s wait does not pay back the wasted time.

Best place to replace tires for your vehicle. If you know how to replace your vehicle's dead battery then purchase a new battery from Costco and do it yourself. You can save hundreds of dollars.

Got email notification about my tire order arrived, the email mentioned walk-in is possible so I went in. Big mistake -- the gent told me (it was about 12:30 pm) they are fully booked. For walk-in, you want to be there by 0830 (they open at 0900). Fortunately, I did have an appointment three days later, made when I ordered the tires. This is Jan 4, 2022. Hope the situation would improve later in the year.

This place is a SCAM BUYER BE WARE!! Look don t just go because its COSTCO!! the people in this tire dept are RUDE!! They have certain prices on wall then when you go in it is a UP CHARGE!! THEY WILL NEEEEEVER ANSWER PHONES!! YOU LIKE REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CHEAP PRICING?? WALL MART WALL MART MAKES COSTCO LOOK LIKE Americas tire $$$$$$

I have been rotating tires at different Costco location since 2019. Never had issues. I started going here since 2021 and had my lug nut frozen on both the occasions. They told me that the nuts were the issue but in both cases I had the mechanic replacing the broken lugnut inspect all others and they didn t find any issues. Without any context of how the lug nut was frozen, One of the mechanics who helped me replace the frozen lug nuts flat out told me the issue is because it was removed incorrectly. Since this wasn t an issue for multiple years before and it has happened 2/2 times I went here I am sure this issue is due to how they do work here. These free rotations have resulted in 100 s of dollars in expenses to get them replaced.The long wait times make things worse. I ll be using a different Costco tire center for my business in the future.

First review ever, but such absolute worst experience needs to be highlighted , if there was a lower rating than 1, i would give it. Did a walk-in 15 mins before the shop opened and waited for about an hour for the guy at the desk to say, Sorry we are not doing any more tire installations, something which could have been announced well in advance. These people think that time is free. Didn t expect such a customer service from Costco.

I would give zero star if I can. The first time I appointed at 2pm but got 10 minutes late. Then they reject service since they said we are late. We appointed another day at 3:00pm and arrived early for 10 min and drop the key and went shopping at Costco. We came back 4:00 later and they said they haven t start yet. 4:50 they finally start working on my car. What is the point of rejecting service for being late 10 min? This is the worst experience at Costco.

I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for 4:30. Arrived at the tire center at 4:31, waited in line for 15 minutes (dropped keys off at 4:45). I was told it was going to be 60-90 minutes. Came back at 5:30, car hadn't moved. Was told they would take my car in right away. It's now 6 and they're just getting around to processing my car (haven't moved it to the bay yet). They're estimating another 60+ minutes to actually do the work that should have been done at the appointment time.Overall, an unpleasant experience and a waste of time.
