The owner here is a godsend. I was on my way out of state and one of my axles let go on the leaf springs. They made a hell of a smoke cloud and this place happened to be the closest place the owner was super helpful he worked with me and charged a very fair price. I can't say enough good things about him. Good good guy.

The owner Barry is an experienced car enthusiasts. It was a pleasure watching him changing my 245/30/20 tire. The whole process looks so smooth and effortless with his skill. The touchless tire changing machine made sure my rim didn't get scratched. FYI, America's Tire scratched up my rim and claimed that it's the nature low profile tires.

My go-to tire place from now on. This place deserves nothing less than a 500 stars!! Apart from the work, which was top class, I think there is something with the owner, that stands out - he is genuinely caring, truthful, and the no pressure and no upselling vibe - that makes this a very different place from the regular tire shop. Thank god to this place!

I don t usually write reviews but I had to write this one. Barry is one of the nicest people I have seen. He is tender and mild during our interactions. His smiles are warming and comforting. He fixed my punctures despite still in recovery period after a surgery. This is the level of customer service you will get here! Come here and you won t regret!

Bary, their wife Laura, and their establishment are superior and their customer service impeccable. Their shop was clean, well-stocked, and in the Industrial Garage where they work, on cars, was very well organized very classy place and reasonably priced. Mom and Papa owned and he's been in business for over 30 years. The man knows what he's talking about.Knowing what I know now, this is my new tire place.Read on if you want to hear my long story. If not, there's your short review.This place was recommended to me by Stevens Creek Chevrolet. The key for my wheel lock was missing. That meant I couldn't get my four tires, which I Had previously purchased from American Tire, installed. Bary removed the lock from my wheel, gave me lug nuts for all four tires and sent me on my way in less than 30 minutes.Now, as I write my review, I wait at American Tire to install my four tires. Knowing that this will be my last visit to the store and I'm going to Big Wheels from now on!!!!

Awesome local business!!My tires arrived at their shop at 9AM after a long weekend; I received a call in less than 2 hours, was accommodated in 5 mins and less than an hour later the vehicle was ready for pickup.Their prices were better than any of the other big names out there (Costco, PepBoys, etc) & were a joy to work with! Save yourself a trip & $$ by not going to the big name/box stores and support local.Absolutely thorough with their work, Steven's professionalism is bar none and I wish I had more work for them! It's a pleasure doing business with these folks!

Super fast. Great prices. They were able to source the tire I needed on the same day that I called. I came in, and they replaced my busted tire + swapped it out for my spare in about 15 minutes. The material and labor costs were super reasonable.

Absolutely the best experience I've had at a tire shop ever. They are very honest, will get you the best tires for the best price, and will have you rolling out the door feeling very glad you chose them. Best place in the country to retire!

One of the Best Tire shops in the whole of the Bat Area it s a Hidden Gem The Customer service is number one way better then anyone else I had a flat tire and Parry the owner checked it and recommended immediate replacement as it was getting cracked from edge he not only found me very reasonable tire but also included his installation and balance charge in the purchase price of the tires He is a very Honest Gentleman I would very highly recommend this tire shopHarry

BEST MECHANIC EXPERIENCE! Came from LA and blew a tire on the way. I drove the last hour on my donut so i had to get it replaced asap. I had 1 day before the show I had come in for so i had to get it done fast. I Called ahead to make sure they could either fix my blown tire or replace it. I forget the guy i spoke to on the phone but he was really nice and tole me to just make sure i came in asap so they could have enough time to get me fixed up today hopefully.I came in and who ever i had spoken to had told Steven, the guy in the shop that i was coming in (love that they have great communication) so he kind of already knew what was up.I told steven my whole story about me blowing my tire at like 9 pm in the middle of nowhere and being in town only for a few days for a show. I was even hoping to squeeze a few sights in. Unfortunately my old tire couldn't be saved so he had to order me a replacement. By the time we were done ordering the replacement it was maybe 10:30? He didn't try to up sell me, didn't over charge me (got me a tire for $56, about what i'd expect for a single tire) or give me the "out of towner rate, or anything. Straight tire cost, installation fee while thing was less than $90. Now we just needed to wait for the tire to come in.Steven gave me directions for some shops i needed to get supplies from. Off I went, i got a text from Steven at 11:10am. Seriously, that was fast. I was only like 1 coffee stop and 2 items into my shopping and the store was only like 10 minutes away. I texted him back that i'd wrap up my shopping and get back.i had a new tire by probably 12:30/1pm the LATEST. THATS AMAZING SERVICE. I didn't have to go my conference worried about my car or getting it done last minute before heading back. i can focus on my work. I didn't get overcharged or even have to fight about what i needed vs didn't need, and when i brought up concerns Steven explained things to me simply and clearly without any additional remarks which is more than i can say for any for any other mechanic experience i've ever had. I mean i've literally had mechanics make fun of me after ive gotten into an accident.Further, Steven gave me tips on some local sights and offered to show me how to use my tire jack when i said i didn't know how (i refused, i'm kind of done trying to learn car things at this point in my life. plus that's why we pay for roadside assistance right?)But seriously, if i ever live in norcal i know where i am going. Kind, respectful, quick service, good price, great communication internally and with customers; I cant imagine better service. I only wish you had a branch in LA.

I had a problem with replacing new wheel sets on my car. I put new wheel and tighten the bolt, but it striped the thread since original bolt was little short. I went to BigWheel then chat with them and noticed I was at right place. They have new bolt set in a shop and advice me to use " thread chaser " to recover stripped thread.Very kind and reasonable priced professional service!

I got a flat on the freeway and I was lucky enough to have landed next to Big Wheels. Even though the tire tech was on his way out he stuck around till I was able to safely/ slowly drive my car a little further to the shop and then changed it for me. Everyone at big wheel are extremely friendly and accommodating, I will definitely be back.

I'm hesitant to write this review because Big Wheels is San Jose's best kept secret when it comes to getting some quality work done at a fair price without having to wait around for hours in a squeaky-tile-floored waiting room.That being said, I realize they don't stay in business from the one time every 2 years that I'm there so I'm writing this review to not only thank Steven and his family for doing an AWESOME job, but also spread the good news that there is still a human experience despite being in a world filled with algorithms, delivery-drones and self driving cars.So, although their name is ridiculously ambiguous and a little spammy, they do very well in the stuff that actually matters (fair prices, good practices like torquing down lugnuts with a torque wrench and hand threading lugnuts and speedy service for all that stuff you can't do at home.)

Came here looking for some tires to get me by before I finish working on my car's suspension and they still took the time to find a solution. I didn't realize I had been here before until I saw the garage and they took care of me when I had my 240z long ago. Solid local spot
