This place used to be great. NOW it sucks. They washed my truck, then let it dry in the sun for 20 minutes before anyone came to finish it ( but not until I complained). I had paid for the 3rd tier wash. Meanwhile, they finished 3 cars that came out after mine. I won't be back.

I have been going to this car wash for years. My last 2 visits to STAR ended up with rather large pot belly employee that could not fit his pot belly in the driver seat and moved the seat back to fit his pot belly in the driver seat. HeBroke the button to move driver seat forward and backwards. I own a 1999 mercedes rag top. Old car but in great condition with low mileage.When I complained to Owner, he told/yelled at me if I didn't like their work, to not come back to his car wash. People waiting for their cars were listening and looking at this chat turned to yelling at me. It was embarrassing and people were standing and looking at explosive owner verbally abusing me.I was not asking for monetary gain but only to make owner aware of his crew-middle eastern pot belly smoking employee that drove my car after being washed to next employee to dry car. The next employee to dry my car was nice and apologized for his boss and finished drying my car. I gave the employee a $5.00 tip and thanked him for being kind .There are 4 car wash places close to where I live. I have always driven to STAR because the employees wash car by hand and not machinery.I will not return to this place because of the lunatic owner and his pot belly, smoking, lazy sidekick.I have always, in past received respectful customer care from the employees, now I will give thumbs down to owner of STAR car wash.

I think the one employee was very much incompetent. The wash went just fine however the finishing touch employee seemed to think since my car is not attractive on the first place it didn't need the time for any service. The rear hatch was not even opened to dry the frame nor were the other four door frames dried well at all. I paid for interior Armorial and it looks as if the employee went from clean windows to just Armorial everything. Cob webs and leaves included. It would normally take at least 10-15 minutes to finish the car after the wash but today it was completed in a record time of 5?Service: Auto interior vacuuming

I pay $22 dollars plus $5 dollars tip to wash and clean my car,but They didn t clean well my car and when I asked to reclean, they asking additional $10 dollarsDon t go to this car wash

I just had a regular cash wash yesterday which is Friday. I paid 20. I arrived 1130 and I notice there were cars arrived after my car but went into the wash tube first. I guess if u add extras like wax then they send them out first . Car wash was done by 1200 and waiting for somebody to finish up the car. . It s almost 1230 and still the car is still not done.at 12 45 and still not done so we just left. . Have been going for 10 years. Service is pretty bad now so it s time to wash my own car. I don t want to wait for 1 1/2 hour for a car wash.. there are 2 car wash in la crescenta and la Canada where we live.Services: Vacuuming, Auto interior vacuuming

If I could give 0 stars I would! Absolutely ridiculous service! I got the most pricey package with everything included. All the bumpers were dirty not talking about the tires and rims! I have never had this kind of experience with carwash. Do not recommend at all. I went back and pointed out the rims and what I was told that it was difficult to clean and that they dont carry the solution to clean them! Never going back againService: Auto interior vacuuming

Unfortunately the car wash has declined a lot over the years. It has become a "family business" and it's the only car wash in Sunland so they know everyone is going to come regardless.For a small car expect to pay 17.99 on a weekday during the day, not busy or anything. That is way too much for a car wash through a machine, it used to be 12.99 but they are taking advantage of saying it's the economy or covid probably.When I asked the man working the register why the price increased, he just scoffed at me and didn't give a clear explanation.Not coming back here, better take your car to the self drive thru service up near in and out.

I will never EVER return to this car wash, I paid $30 for wash and detail inside; car did not look like it had been vacuumed, no Armora, my dashboard and console was still dusty I could swipe my finger and they didn t even wipe down side doors, normally I would ve taken a loss but the cleaner was rude and upset that I told him that I was not happy they offered to fix it NO refund. My 12yr old does a way better job, I regret not paying him this time. 1st and last visit.

Paid for "Hand Wash" and there were entire panels unwashed. Entire rear bumpers were still dirty, interior not vacuumed well, they were revving my car while it was being driven by one of their guys (Enough for me to not ever return). I did not come here to get a terrible wash and have someone rev my car like a teenager.Service: Auto detailingService: Auto detailing

$30 for wash and hot wax. Ended with streaks. Didn't even vacuum the rear seats! Took an HOUR and not even busy. I'd give negative stars if I could.

When I first started taking my car here they did a really good job (over a year ago). Over time their survive deteriorated. Couple of weeks ago they did a terrible job. I noticed it was going downhill 6 months ago, but always thought they d do a better job next month. I am definitely not going back unfortunately. Sucks because they are right down the street from me :/

Worse experience. Got my car back with a flat tire and when I said I wasn't responsible they got mad and yelled at me said "it wasn't their problem" pretty much talked I'm Armenian the whole time they were around me. The repair was only 20$ and the guy offered to pay half. Never was able to talk to the owner whoever he was. Never coming back here again no matter how close it is. I'll wash my own car from now on.

Great car wash, excellent service and great cleaning. I took my car to them looking like a dirt bag and got it back sparkling clean. They removed all the dog hair in the car along with little stains. Overall great car wash 10/10.

This place is a scan. Theu charged me 50 dollar for carwash and clean inside with spray which I said ok. I picked up my car a hour later. No vacuum and glasses are dirty. I asked why they did not vacuum inside they said you only paid $50 what do you expect. I said ok thank you and left. But there is no way I go back to this place. Trust me if we dont support them they start to give some quality work. I could go to express wash for $8 . Why I had to pay $50 . I should stop supporting this business for 2 weeks min so they will noticed if they dont give a good costomer service they can not run their business here . Charging people and dont do what they are supposed to do. I am really asking people to take some action.

I have used them for years and its alway just okay, not ever great. But today I took my Jeep in to be cleaned. I paid 25 for the wash and wax and armor done on the inside and the tires. He did not clean the back window well. He moved things in the car, like the steering wheel was pushed up and the lights knob. The lights in the car would not turn off. So my husband spent 2 hours trying to fix this. Such as waste of time to find out the guy who cleaned the car turned the knob in the wrong direction which kept the lights in the car. my husband's shades had been moved under the seat. We did not know this and my husband was searching and searching for these. Also powdery white wax was dried onto the car. When I got home I had to clean the car again to get the white powdery wax off. This is my last trip there. Its too bad as the location is good. But to spend 30. including a tip with this much stress added is not good.

My Mini was parked under pine trees, and had sap drippings on it. I took it into Star Handwash and asked the manager (?) if they could remove the sap. He told me they would use some product I've never heard of, and it would all be great. He charged me $60 for the handwash, sap removal and wax. It took 2 hours. When it was done, they'd destroyed my factory black racing stripes by rubbing until all of the color was removed and there were large white splotches. I was horrified and pointed this out. The manager started arguing with me that it was ruined beforehand. Boldfaced lie. The owner came out to try to help. The manager got right in my face angrily trying to intimidate me (I am a woman). To the owner's credit, he told the manager to back off. This car wash ended up costing me $480 to replace my stripes.

Ive been coming here since I moved to Tujunga but I noticed the last few times the attention to detail was not there. This time who ever cleaned my car didnt seem to care at all. The last time I got my car washed there I had to point out spots that were clearly dirt and water not wiped off on my wife's car and the windshield look like it had been wiped down with grease. Today I got my car washed and no one even told me it was finished. My car was sitting there and I had to ask the guys around it if it was done and no one knew what I was talking about. I got in my car and noticed my keys werent in it. The guy who "cleaned" my car walked up with my keys and walked away. I always tip. This time I didnt. I assumed it was done because my tires had armor all. I got home to check it out and again i had water and dirt spots all over my bumber, the entire bottom half of my car was dirty so I assume they only wiped down the top. My tires were coated in armor all but the wheels, which were one of the reasons i needed to wash my car, were still completely dirty. My car is bright white. Its very obvious that they took no care with my car. Sad to say I will not be bringing my wife's or my car back to this place. Like I said this isnt the first time but I am all about giving the benefit of the doubt. But this laziness is unacceptable. I shouldve saved my money and washed it myself.

Paid for a hand wax and inside clean for $50. The inside was not cleaned at all and there was wax left on various spots on car. By the time you get the car you do not have time to argue and wait. Terrible service for the price and had to clean up myself afterwards. Considering this is a new car I would not like to see what happens with an older or dirty vehicle.

The have great prices. Got my SUV hand washed for $25. The guys are hustling and have a courteous service. It's a little run down but I don't care--i wait inside air conditioned area watching tv so no big deal.

They are basic. Staff is friendly. Takes a while when they are busy busy(4-5+ cars at a time) but overall the basic wash is good if you're too lazy to do it yourself. I really just go cause it's affordable and their vacuums work well :).

Terrible Customer Service. I ve been to this place 5 times and the 5th time they did a piss poor job because they were busy. When I asked the woman at the desk if it can be rewash she was AUTOMATICALLY aggressive and defensive like a child who just got caught by the teacher. I left and just disputed the charge. The exterior wash is $9 for a reason. Stay away!

AVOID THIS CAR WASH! HORRIBLE SERVICE!I usually always take my car to get washed at this establishment, so I would say I m a loyal customer but on September 16 2018 I took my car to get washed just like I always do and when my car was returned to me, nothing worked. I took a perfectly functioning car to this car washe and they returned to me a car with nothing functioning, no AC, no GPS and not even the speedometer. I brought this up to thr attention of the staff and to my surprise they started pointing fingers everywhere except trying to help resolve this matter. I would ve been contempt with a simple apology, but the unprofessionalism of the staff and especially the manager was outrageous. They were not only disrespectful, but they also harrased my innocent mother who was trying to camly explain the situation to them. They shouted, screamed and were very aggressive towards my mother. This kind of behavior is unacceptable no matter who you are or whoever your talking to. I hope people read this review and chose to go to another carwash. The behavior from the managment staff cannot be forgiven and they lost my business with them after 3 years of being a loyal customer.

I'm done with this place. I first gave them a good review, but as time went by they got worse. The last draw was, I paid $50 for a wax and they did a lazy, horrible job. When I showed them the spots they missed, guy gave me attitude. Gave an excuse that it won't come out but when I tried, it came off. So over it. I'll take my business to La Crescenta where they charge a little more but at least they're not lazy

Request came up to review Star Handwash, therefore, the reply. Drove thru the car wash to reach Juan's upholstery shop for a estimate, located in the back left corner of the lot. Nice gentleman. Car wash looked cool.
