Ed s is a fantastic auto shop. They were honest and straightforward with us. We asked a lot of questions and they made sure we understood and were patient with us the entire time. We will definitely be back if we have any other issues with our car.

Had a pre-sale inspection done here for $165. Called for an appointment only one day before and they still fit me in! Affordable and fast service. They also took the time to thoroughly and patiently explain to me everything in the printed report that I received at the end! Would recommend.

These guys are the best in town. I surely recommend anyone that is looking for a honest and professional mechanic !! There service is excellent. I been coming here since 2014. They are very Professional, they provide excellent service. I could always count on them. Customer service way above and beyond everytime!!! They make me feel like family!! if i could do a -5 i would their first mistake was taking in my car saying they would fix it without letting me know a price i come to pickup the car it wasn t even ready had to uber back i come back next day they drop a $3,300 bill on me that i had to pay from pocket if i knew ahead of time i would probably involve my insurance since it was a hit and run. They didn t even complete the car 1 rim was still scratched when i came back to fix it the unfinished job they wanted more money when i said i can t afford for paying them more than i already did they kicked me out i warn you this is the worst shop i have ever been to ! Don t spend your timeor money !!!

I went there with an appointment today and he denied service by saying that I had to visit the Toyota dealer. That my car had many codes Blah, Blah, BlahWhy did he said this? I am Not sure because I had gone to another shop before his, and I was getting a Second Opinion (of which was at EDs shop) instantly he lost my credibility in his ASE shop. This man Ed (the owner) is a liar, and I will never trust him with any of my cars ever.I know what you did Ed, my business is my business handle your ownthere s no proof of what happened, and there s no guarantee that that will happen again.Because most people are Brighter than others DuhIt won t be long till you seethat I am right and you not so muchPeople don t waste your money or time he s just joking around with his time and yours, and as far as your money goeshe might just Miscalculate!I m not re-inventing the wheel here.I have been to the dealership and they were surprised at what a great condition my vehicle is in.Ed,this is not a war at all just aWARNING to all who have good intentions coming here with their well cared for PRIUS you re justNOT WELCOMED HERE.

I ve been taking my cars to Ed s Automotive for several years now. Danny and his dad, Ed, have always been so patient putting up with the plethora of issues my cars have had, from specific parts needed to an intermittent mystery. They are honest about what has to be done and transparent about the priorities throughout the list, if there even is one. I appreciate them taking the time to explain or listen to me when I explain what s going on, even over the phone. I send everyone I know there, and quickly they became our family mechanic. I can t say enough good stuff, but will save it for the next person who asks for a good auto shop :)

I have lived in the Valley for almost 40 years. I have seen shops come and go. I have used many shops over the years but Ed s automotive is top tier. Their service is worthy of 5 stars. Have they made mistakes? Yes. We are all human but these guys stand behind their work and they have always made it right for me. (A little patients goes along way when things don t go as planned). We now laugh at the mistakes made and I keep bringing my cars and trucks here. Danny really cares about his business and tries to make you feel appreciated.

BEWARE!!!! I went to Ed's Automotive Center on the recommendation of a friend. I asked them to do an alignment on my car. When they had completed the alignment, they told me that their mechanic had found some major problems that needed eminent repair. I trusted them to do the recommended repairs although I thought I should probably take my car back to my regular and trusted mechanic that has kept my car in great shape for years, as the estimate was $900. When I was due to pick up my car they told me that it needed even more repairs, that the valve cover was cracked and it was leaking oil. The additional repair estimate was an additional $900. When the repairs were complete, the car was picked up. While it was being driven away the check engine light was on, the car was shaking very hard and barely running. We immediately called Ed's and told them. As it was Friday evening, they instructed me to bring the car back on Monday and they would look at it. I had a bad feeling about what had happened. I feel like I had been taken for a ride. I took the car to my regular mechanic instead on Monday and even though I was embarrassed, showed him the repair bill from Ed's. He was horrified at all the unnecessary repairs and the exorbitant prices they had charged. They had even charged me $65 to tell me my windshield wiper pump was not working, something I told them. They have since sent me a check for $65 since I posted this review.I had to pay my mechanic an additional $600 to correct what Ed's Automotive Center had done so that the car would run. He showed me that while they did replace the valve cover they did not replace the gasket and it was still leaking oil. Also, one of the valves had exploded and the cover had been replaced without repairing it. One of the pistons was also now damaged. Ed's called several times to ask me to bring the car back. I had absolutely no trust in them and that they would just keep finding new repairs that were unnecessary. I feel like the game at Ed's may be to keep you coming back with repair after repair until they take all the money out of your that they can. My mechanic told me I could never prove that Ed's damaged my car or did unnecessary repairs, even though I believe that to be the case. I have a 2004 car with 100,000 miles that was running great when I took it to Ed's Automotive Center for an alignment. After paying them over $2000 I got back a car that was barely running and in need of additional repairs to correct problems that didn't exist when I took it to Ed's. DRAW YOUR OWN CONCLUSION but I would recommend that you NEVER take anything with an engine or wheels to this business. While I will never recoup the $2000 or have a well running car again, I may be able to warn many people from falling into the same trap. THAT, will be worth something!

Very polite, efficient, informative, reasonable, and honest! ! Such a struggle finding an honest mechanic that isn't trying to get one over on you. I'm a single female with an old car, going to a mechanics is generally an awful experience where I am always checking to see that I'm not being taken advantage. Not here, Ed and the guys do a fantastic job, they are honest and strait forward if it's not done right the first time they wont stop until it's fixed. It's a family run business with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have taken the anxiety out of the entire mechanic customer experience, I know they will do a great job, charge a fair price, and never try and use my ignorance to their advantage. I highly recommend them.

Even though they knew I wasn't going to be a regular customer, and I was just getting good a pre-purchase inspection for my daughter's first car, they still did an extremely thorough job, and finished on time.They also even gave me prices for comparison, and a detailed explanation as to the longest I should wait before completing the various repairs.If I lived near them, they'd be my shop of choice for all our cars.

This garage deserves the ratings it gets - even though my car was beyond repair, "Ed" was honest and helpful. He went above and beyond, explaining and showing me the damage, what it meant, and how the repairs would be done if requested. Additionally, he gave me recommendations about how to proceed with my car, options for replacement, and assured me he would check over any used car I was considering buying. This is a professional, comfortable, knowledgeable business.I'm far from my home and family, and I feel very fortunate coming across such a helpful shop in my time of need.

I had a very positive experience with Ed and his team. They were extremely professional; kept me constantly up to date on my car, its issues, and what they were doing to fix it; asked frequently about things they would have to do that would cost me money; and came in under the price they quoted me. Their professionalism and workmanship was exceptional!

Excellent mechanic on duty, always cheerful and explains everything in detail. Ed's Automotive is now the only place I take my car. Have been there 3 times for each of our cars. Honest, trustworthy and caring. A 5+ for Danny.I highly recommend them

I ve done my thorough search and found out about Ed s Automotive Center based on their great Yelp and Google reviews. After my car repairs have been completed I can confidently say that Ed s Automotive Center has exceeded my expectations with excellent quality and thoughtful customer service. Ed s Automotive Center business operations run like a Swiss watch. I absolutely would recommend Ed s Automotive Center with their one of the highest levels of expertise in the industry.

The guys at Ed's Automotive Center are some of the best mechanics you could ever meet. They take the time to not only fix your vehicle but teach you about why it needed to be fixed and how to prevent further issues. They are also incredibly patient and do not pressure you to make decisions. They inform you every step of the way and make sure you're getting a fair deal.

My 2002 Hyundai's radiator recently sprung a leak and over heated. Ed's Auto not only repaired the radiator, but checked the car for other needed repairs. The work was professionally done and the car runs great. The folks at Ed's Auto are not only friendly, but concerned about doing the job right. They are upfront on any needed maintenance and completely honest in dealing with their customers. At least that has been my experience with them on both my vehicles.

From my experience bringing my girlfriend's 2009 Ford Fusion as well as my 2013 Dodge Dart to Ed's, they are honest, priced fairly, timely and friendly. I took my girlfriend's car to another shop first and they tried to tell her and me that her belts were frayed. They were not frayed. They also had her sign a sheet to do the inspection and she didn't read it all the way and it included a $75 oil change, even though the oil was changed on her car not more than a thousand miles previously. We left the other shop, out $75 but took it over to Ed's. They are ASE certified (the other shop wasn't) and they quickly found the source of the problem (and it was not frayed belts). We left the car there and I believe it was done by the end of the day. I also brought my Dart in to get part of the front air dam/close-out panel installed. They had quoted me $30 a few weeks prior and when I finally brought it in, it turned out to require more work than we had thought it would but they still only charged me $30. As long as Ed's Automotive Center is around, we'll be loyal customers.

I'm so relieved to have brought my new (to me) Scion in. I feel such calm knowing Danny went over it thoroughly and told me the (minimal-yeah!) things that were wrong with it. This is the third car I've had at Ed's, they are trustworthy, genuinely communicative and always helpful,

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Amazing customer service. I came in with an 86 toyota that had a do it yourself previous owner and they where able to diagnose and fix the problem in no time at all. The cost of the repairs was also extremely fair. Hands down the best mechanics I have found in a very long time. Thank you Dan and Ed for a great experience.

Big Thank You to Danny! I had a vehicle, which I had never seen, dropped off to him for a pre-purchase inspection. Before he even opened the hood or put it on a lift, he called to tell me that the paint and body were not in very good shape. He told me that if he was looking for a car like the one I was, he would not buy that one. I told him not to proceed any further. He did not even charge me for the PPI! I truly appreciate his honesty and would not hesitate to trust them to work on a vehicle for me.

I JUST TOOK MY 85 TOYOTA 4x4 to this shop for the first time. I needed to redo another shops sloppy mess. I couldn't believe how calm and professional this shop was operating, from answering the phone like one should, talking human language in person, and smiling while doing honest work. I am a mechanic and rarely take my cars to anyone else, "mechanics", are generally most often, an incredible scam. THIS SHOP is a trustworthy shop in my opinion. They even have a clean waiting room that smells nice! and it is air conditioned. Its nice to see someone has a reputable shop amongst all the fly by night scams these days. Thank you to the owner, and Dan and the other guy who's name I didnt get (sorry, lol). these guys provided an excellent service, and got me back on the road enjoying my friday. I think I found a great shop... spread the word. 5 stars is all I can rate, which is under-rating EDS SUPER CENTER. THANK YOU.

Very dismissive, not friendly at all.Edit: thank you for offering help now but when I went one of you told me you didn't know what a vacuum hose was and when I asked if you work on hybrids you said no. I got it fixed, it took me 10 min
