Thanh came through for me big time. Got me fixed up with a replacement inverter water pump and on my way in just a couple hours. Great price, great service! Was very helpful and fair in the repair and transaction.

Thanh is a a dishonest rude person. I took my car in for an AC service and he charged me $150. I ask him to check my compressor first because I believe it s the issue. Did he? No! He put Freon in it and obviously it did not work. Yes, then he quoted me $560 to install a new compressor. I declined. It was agreed that I would install my own compressor and have him just recharged my system at no charge. When I completed my install myself, he refused to recharge my system and wanted to charge me another $60 to recharge! Wow! $150 down and he still wants more! We disagreed, however I was able to convince him we was wrong. He agreed and when the time came to do his part, he lied. He took my Freon out and didn t t recharge it to where it was. He didn t even startup my car to see if my ac system worked. He never cared my my concerns but just his money- the money he wasn t making from me. I would give this shop a zero! Thanh is a money hungry owner. He s dishonest and rude.. I will never go there again! Beware of this shop and clown.Service: A/C installation & repair

Took my Audi A3 to him because the check engine light came on and I thought it was the timing chains. When I got there, I told him what the problem may be but I m wasn t sure. So he suggested that we should do a thorough diagnostic on it so I agreed. I ended up leaving my car there because it was going to take a while for him to diagnose it. The day after, I ve received a call from him and he said the timing chains job was going to be $1900 and he needed $500 deposit. So I asked him if that was the problem and he said that in order for him to find out, he has to open the cover up and inspect each chain individually. So I brought him the $500. About a week later, I didn t hear from him, so I ended up calling him and he said for me to go there so he can explain the problem to me. So when I get there, he show me a bunch of pictures that he took with his of timing chains and he said that that s not the problem and it may be something else. So I left, about another week went by, I didn t hear back from him again. So I ended up calling him and he said they replaced the a censor thinking that that ll be it but the problem is still there but he s on the phone with a specialist in San Jose and he ll call me back. Never did, yesterday makes it almost a month that my car has been in his shop. So I finally called him and he said he might have to replace the whole motor. I told him no and I m going come and pick it up because it doesn t seems like he knows what he was doing. So to I went to pick up my car, not only that he kept my deposit for labor, he also charged me for the part that he replaced that I didn t ask him to. So for a month that my car has been there, and after $687 later, my car came back the same as it went in.. I would never do business with this place again. Because he doesn t know how to fix my car and he was just guessing what he thought the problem was.. shame on you sir..Service: General repairs & maintenance

Mark is great. I had a cat converter installed and both of my sensors were bad. He called me with updates as he was doing multiple repairs on my car (headlight repair, cat converter replacement, sensor replacements, and oil change). I already knew what engine error messages popped up prior to arriving due to having a car insurance plugin that automatically tells me my engine error messages - he confirmed the same errors that were there.He installed my first cat converter a few years ago when I came to him from the recommendation of a friend for the first cat converter.It's hard to find a person that is reliable, communicative, and is straight forward with repair costs. I am coming here for my synthetic oil changes regularly now.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

My sister has been going to this shop for years, he did an amazing job fixing my car, his very nice and friendly, excellent customer service, and will professionally repair your vehicle in a timely manner. I recommend Thanh Auto Repair to anyone that want there car fixed by the best.

Called for a quote I know what the problem is I have the parts and all I wanted was the labor cost to put the parts that I have and they would not give me the labor cost over the phone totally in professional would not recommend this place to anyone they probably would charge a arm and a leg if I went in!!!
