Paved trail and easy to hike!

Clean and well maintained. No benches for the distance I hiked, something to note if there is someone who need to rest and hike.

It was easy to park and nice in the morning. Parking is limited and could be confusing.

Parking gets pretty full. I don't get the whole parking backwards thing in this lot. Drive down to the side street parking lot which is the second right down the street from the main dish parking.

Been there twice so far and I can tell that this is one of the most scenic and a good hike place to visit in the bay area. The entire loop takes some time but it's worth it.

There s only 20 spots. A lot of cars waiting. A lot of space nearby available but permit only. They privatized a space that should not be privatized! Permit parking enforced 24/7 and there s so much space to park unused. Shame on you Stanford

I like the way the parking is structured - backing into the parking space for easy and safe exit. Unfortunately, there isn't enough parking and, despite all the signs, people still do unsafe U turns.

Love this place! Did not know that this place existed. A solid up hill hike with some spectacular views of the bay.Can get a bit windy, so wearing a jacket may be a good idea during the hike. Difficult to get parking during the weekends. Overall, a must visit for Bay Area residents!

A 3.6 mile hiking trail with a steep beginning & beautiful view of the valley. Closing times vary, based on the month, since it's a nature preserve without lighting. No bathrooms or amenities.

Great hiking/walking path.

This "parking lot" is basically just street parking and there are only a handful of slots. All are back-in slots so get ready to reverse into one. The Dish trail is popular so you should expect to double back a few times to find a spot. Note that the neighboring side streets do not allow Dish parking as they are permit-only streets.

Impossible to find a space. Cars idling in bike lane waiting for a spot, we had to turn around for baylands hike instead.Needs demand-responsive paid parking to eliminate congestion and cruising. Read "The High Cost of Free Parking"!

If you win this parking lottery you will be rewarded with quick access to the ~3 mi Dish hike with views of Stanford, the bay, and the Santa Cruz foothills. But that s a big if . So arrive with a plan B in hand.

This is BackInOnly parking close the Standford dish trail which is usually full due to limited parking. But if we wait for 5-10 mins in the biking lane close to parking then we can get a parking spot as there are lot of hikers for this trail all the time.

I don t understand why you can t post photos for the Stanford Dish Hiking Trail. But it was great. About 5.5 miles in the loop and my Fitbit says I got 84 flights of stairs. Easy way to hit goals for today.

Great hiking spot in Palo Alto. The trail has some ups and downs so it's a good workout. The views of the Bay from the top of the trail are amazing.

This parking is usually full so you can park at the elementary school down the street as well if it's a weekend, holiday, or during the summer - about 4.6 miles total for the longer walk to the gate and around the loop.Other dish info:- open to the public- gate was open and booth was unmanned when we went- free entry- no dogs, bikes

Great place for a walk and hike. Nearly a 7 mile round trip and lots of ascents and descents. Good place to kip fit and some amazing views and some...... Not so much.

BE CAREFUL. Stanford Sheriffs sit here like vultures waiting for people to make illegal left or U-turns on Stanford Avenue to acquire these coveted parking spots. It is the silliest parking lot design of the 21st century.

It was a beautiful rolling hills off grass off the bay walking path. And the radio dishes are a cool sight to see

It's gets full pretty early and you have to back in your parking spot, annoying on busy days and weekends.
