We are two older ladies from So. Oregon and Mt. Shasta on vacation when suddenly our car got problems and surely wasn t going to make the trip back home. We couldn t get in anywhere in the whole area to have our car looked at or worked on until the following week. Josh not only did diagnostics but thankfully squeezed us in and and resolved the situation quickly and sufficiently to get us safely back home. Courteous, kind, honest and professional, he surely was our angel and an answered prayer and we will always be grateful.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Called to get my radiator fixed, there was a small consistent leak. They were able to get me in the next day, replaced everything, flushed and refilled my whole cooling system. They were amazing and stayed under the specific budget I mentioned. Great customer service. A week later, I drove 2,400 miles in a 5 day period & had no issues at all!! They did a great job!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've taken our Outback to Norm's a couple times and have always been very happy with their service and prices. When I had to get a head gasket replaced they threw in a free oil change, and recently when I'd had work done at another shop and they hadn't reconnected everything correctly they tightened/reconnected everything at no charge. Gonna stick with Norm's for now on while in Tahoe.Only issue with the place is there's basically no where to park while dropping off/picking up.

Our 98 Forester RV tow car blew a head gasket while we were in the Sierra, luckily I found Norm's on the web. Josh owns the business now and did an outstanding job for us in 2 days while we camped in town and enjoyed a few days at the lake. They wisely replaced all the serviceable items that were accessible while the engine was out, including water pump, thermostat, drive belts, idler pulleys, hoses, tensioner, timing belt, gaskets, fixed all oil leaks, new plugs and wires, oil and filters, the most thorough repair job I have ever had done, almost an overhaul. I had asked for a new clutch but they told me it looked almost new so that saved me $400 that I had already agreed to pay. I arrived bummed that I needed a head gasket on an older car, left very satisfied that I have a solidly maintained vehicle that is good to go indefinitely. Our experience could not have been better!

Just got my 2015 STI and am having issue with the Clutch , so i talk to Josh and he explain it to me what is happening. he didn't ripped me off like " your clutch is bad let's replace it. will cost you$1800 '" like other will do to make money. What am saying is they are honest, and professional, I got my car back and runs better, they adjust the clutch base on subaru's model and specification.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Norm's Auto is a community pilar! Because of the quality service performed here, this shop has made many very, very, loyal Subaru owners. I have been qouted a price for repair a few times and been pleasantly surprised when the total was less then what I was told it would be. You can trust their opinion when they recommend or don't recommend work to be done. I know several people who don't care for their Subaru that much but keep them just because this is such a great shop and the dreaded thought of taking a different car else where just to deal with headaches and upselling. If you own a Subaru this is where you go!! Shout out to Norm, Josh, and the rest of the team here! Thanks you!! Keep up the amazing work!

Took my car in for a squeak they said it would be $600 to fix, seamed expensive but I heard they do good work. Unfortunately that's not what I saw they couldn't fix it and wanted another $700 to try again. If they can't fix a squeak they shouldn't be working on cars. Norm was great sadly he sold his shop to these clowns. I'll be calling the bureau of automotive repair.

Hands down the Best place to take your Subi.I've been taking my Bat-aru to Norm's for over 10yrs. They only use certified Subaru parts, they keep their appts, never under quote a job, repairs are done when they say they will be and most importantly, the repairs are done correctly w/ a warranty.I need to replace my catalytic converter but can't afford it right now. Josh suggested I run One tank of the Chevron w/ Techron Supreme through her & it would clean her out some & reduce the occasional sulfur odor. He Was 100% Right. Every suggestion they have given me over the years has helped. Bottom line, whatever work you can't do on your own, take your Subi to Norm.2000 Forester. 188,000mi.*Head Gasket*Timing belts*Clutch*Rear Wheel bearing*Bunch of stuff I can't recallIt's Norm's or No One

Best place to get work for your Subaru. Checked my car out for free - honest and well known in town. That's why it's hard to get an appointment sometimes.

I appreciate the honesty of these guys. I drove down from Portland and had to have a bunch of work done before I could drive back. When I went to pick up the car, because of what they actually had to do ( vesus what they thought might have to be done), the price was significantly lower than what I was quoted.

This was probably one of the most honest auto repair shops I have ever dealt with, Love these guys even though they couldn't fix my car and I had to have a towed back to Oregon, They told me the truth so I was prepared when I got back here
