Good place to get parts for your vehicle. We visited over the weekend and needed to get a replacement part. They also have all the tools you need to get the job done. I picked up a serpentine belt, gloves, and a set of Duralast sockets to get the job done.Keep in mind this location with other stores in this area closes earlier than what you may be used to.

I received excellent care from a gentleman by the name of Adam. Not only was he professional he was very kind and caring. He installed a battery in my 1991 Toyota. AutoZone is lucky to have an employee like Adam. He went far and beyond his duties and I appreciated that.Thank you Adam

Love this place, but whoever this Adam guy is needs to chill out and calm down. Saw him interacting with a foreigner in a very unprofessional and aggressive matter and it made me uncomfortable. Everyone else working there is awesome

Sold me snow chains without seals; I m not a snow-experienced person and didn t know about how the chains should come wrapped. I changed my mind and tried to return them 30 min after purchase and they didnt accepted claiming I used them. The manager, who sold me the chains, seems like he just forgotten about it and rejected the return. I feel scammed as didn t even know the chains were wet!!! So they were used and sold to me taking advance of my ignorance.

We went to Autozone to inquire about purchasing chains for our rental. Although we didn't purchase chains (they were expensive), the staff was really helpful.

I m local to Tahoe and often come to the auto zone here on Lake Tahoe Blvd. I can not say enough good things about this auto zone location. The staff has constantly been friendly, knowledgeable, quick, efficient, and just down right good people. They re the type of neighbors you d like to have on your street. Cameron, their manager, is just who you d like to see leading a place like this. He is absolutely the man for the job, and I m very thankful he s there. Also, can t forget Adam, another friendly knowledgeable employee that s always willing to help. So whether you re local or just passing through, this is absolutely where you should stop. Thanks again guys for all you ve done, sincerely appreciate it.

Our rear window wiper broke and we came to AutoZone to the rescue. They were very friendly and helped us find the right exact windshield blade that we needed. Thanks AutoZone for always being there for us even when we re not at home! PS My husband bought me this cute HUG BUNNY there too so I can drive hands free while taking to my clients !

I am from sacramento, was in Tahoe for the weekend and had to buy chains for my car, Staff was really helpful and knowledgeable about what size to get etc. I never ended up using them and coming back to sacramento wanted to return the unused chains but unfortunately didn't have the receipt on hand. (Which is required) I called Tahoe location and Cameron, the store manager was kind and patient enough to sit down and look through the transactions (mind you, there were many) to get me the information I needed for the return to happen. 10/10 recommend! Thankyou Cameron!

We were sold tire chains with a manufacturing defect (one side broke), it was under manufacturer's warranty (30 days) and they did not exchange the goods and told us that we would have to contact the manufacturer. We drove 2 min and there was a gas station (Shell) that sold chains for half the price and offered help installing it. So if you need tires chain go to gas station located 1 block ahead of this store.

Worst service. The sales person said that you can buy the chain if it doesn t fit you can return it and then they denied that against the policy. They did same thing to couple of more persons where they sold the wrong size chains and then won t return. These people are just taking advantage of the situation where you are in need and can t do much.I hope management takes some actions against the employees at this store.

I'm grateful this location to have been available I was in an emergency to get some snow chains to get back home. I did not get the dudes name that helped me but my receipt has CSR #27. The dude went to my car and made sure I had the the right tire size besides the manufacturer sticker. All in all I walked out with some chains and was satisfied with my visit. The dudes were very helpful and they have earned my trust and loyalty. Thanks Again dude at store #6201.

They were very helpful, I pulled in with the battery light on, they tested the battery and found it at 69% so they charged it and then we were able to identify the alternator had gone bad. Bought an alternator from them and change it there in their parking lot, they loan me some tools to use and we're very helpful.

We went into the store looking for tire chains and initially the doors were locked at 8:00 when the store opens at 7:30. When the associate opened the door we asked for where we could find tire chains to no response. After pushing the question the associate eventually stated there was only 1 option that was $215. Seems like some lazy workers that are upset they had to do work.

The worst store service I've ever experienced. We spent $170 on chains...drove down the road a ways to the snow, put them on (instruction specific) , drove 5 ft and one of the chains snapped. Called the store and Matthew, the supposed store manager, refused to keep the store open the 5 minutes longer it would have taken us to reach his location (would've arrived at 8:02), where we would have spent another $170, so that we could get home tonight. We asked him where else we could buy chains and he said 'nowhere, it's sunday'. We asked if he could stay open a little past close and he refused, stating he would only be there until 8. When asked what his name was, he gave it forth and hung up on us. If he is the manager, he could do with some retraining. At the very least, a lesson in basic human kindness. Supremely disappointed in his management training.Rerating, a few days after this rating went up, corporate reached out and refunded us for the chains. They were very empathetic and apologized for our experience. Thank you.

Placed an online order for same day pick up. Drove 2 hours (4hr round trip) in Tahoe traffic to pick up the order just to find that they are closed at 3pm on a Tuesday despite store hours being 7:30am to 9pm. No way to reach the store, and AutoZone regional office is on hold forever. Our plan to go back home depended on the chains I ordered, or we'd be grounded in Tahoe with no where to stay.Next day, I walked for an hour to be at their store when they open, again to find that they are closed, again. Both times, I saw many customers pulling into the parking lot, walking to the store, and returning with disappointment. I was lucky to find a chain in a nearby grocery store, but AutoZone's lack of communication definitely interrupted my plans and those of many more stranded people. It is understandable that the store may have had to close in the aftermath of the storm, but a simple handwritten "closed" sign is poor communication. Why not play a message when the customers call? Why take orders and put people in danger by not fulfilling them? Other stores did way better than AutoZone, even if they just had to pick up the phone and tell the customers everything is out of stock.P.S.: Before anyone says 'you should have carried chains': we had good chains (not cables), both of which snapped off in the mismanaged chaos of highway 50, when people gave each other bad advice and encouraged the cars to keep pushing! We got a second pair after that, which got pinched in the awful ice puddles of Lake Tahoe boulevard and broke.

Came in today with a battery that kept dying. I had purchased it at the store 2 years ago, winters are tough on batteries up here in the Sierra. The super helpful staff were on it. Looked up my warranty, tested the battery and said NP on a replacement. Even carried it out to the car. Could not have been nicer. Well Done. Missed the name of who helped me but she was the only gal working today.

The manager saved the day! Our rental car fob battery died and the rental case company told us to go buy a new one. It was a complex replacement but the manager was kind enough to replace it for us!

They had pretty good wiper fluid. I'm disabled and they helped me put it in. They gave me a tip that if you want even better winter wiper fluid, cross the line into Nevada a couple miles away.

I like this store! Today I bought fuel additive, with a dozen more to choose from. I've gotten good service from the staff, they are usually knowledgeable and helpful. I stopped there a few months ago because the check motor light came on. The gentleman plugged in his diagnostic tool and told me there was a problem with the catalytic converter or the sensors (2) that mesure the amount of oxygen going through the system. He then offered to look up the cost of the sensors as well as a new converter. I knew it wasn't the catalytic converter for it wouldn't run correctly. He then suggested I could use a fuel system additive that would turn off the check motor light, and if it turned off, its the sensors. I followed his recommendation and sure enough the light didn't come on again. All in all a good place to go for your car needs. They also lend tools to fix your car right there in the lot. Easy access right on Hwy 50, on the lake side of the road.

WARNING: If you call ahead to reserve tire chains, they may not keep the reservation. We called at 8am today to reserve a set and were told a set was put on hold for us for 12 hours. When we got there around 1pm, they told us they were out of the chains we had reserved, having sold the last ones after we put them on hold. They weren't very apologetic and did not offer any solutions as we left the store without chains in a snowstorm.

The staff at this AutoZone are incredible! Needed a new battery after a day of skiing, and they a) answered the phone (accomplishment!), b) immediately checked if they had the battery so I could know if I should come in, c) loaned me EXACTLY the right tools to swap out the battery, d) checked the warranty on the previous battery to help me make sure I needed to make the change, and e) were super friendly and helpful the entire time.

Stopped in to have my lightbulb replaced. Beautiful young lady helped me first and we had a tough time and next thing you know the whole crew was out there helping! Fernando has a great team! Most would of given up but one light bulb and a new fuse solved everything! Thanks for the great customer service! From the Volvo chick!
