Can t say enough good things about Doug at Stuart Automotive!! Had my car towed there late in the afternoon and he had it diagnosed and fixed in less than 24 hours. Friendly, honest service.

waited 3 weeks for an oil change with Doug. He was recommended by someone else on the web, and I am grateful I found someone who I feel I can trust their word. He has always been finished on time as he said he would. And always insist on giving your car a light clean-up before he sends you on your way. Doug and crew pay attention to details, are honest,and Very knowledgeable and went above and beyond. As a former mechanic I have found my forever repair shop! If I could give more stars I would! They are amazing!

Doug replaced the air conditioner system on my Dodge truck and charged less than what he original quoted..... very pleased!FOLLOW UP.....the AC worked for 5 months and began blowing warm air. It's been at his shop numerous times and it still isn't fixed.If Doug fixes the issue I will provide a favorable review.

We were in capitola on vacation and our truck batteries died. We went to Costco and bought batteries, but didn t have the tools to replace them. We called Stuart and they were able to change the batteries the same day, quickly and for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I love cars and tend to change cars a lot. I've taken a bunch of my vehicles to Stuart Automotive and always receive excellent service. Before I found Stuart Auto, I'd used other local shops and had unsatisfactory experiences. Stuart Auto is awesome: super honest, good communication and competent! Stuart automotive was suggested to me by a coworker when I needed a lot of general maintenance done on my van. Doug at Stuart is professional, no nonsense, honest, and does clean quality work. I'll be using Stuart Automotive for all my vehicle needs from here on out! I had my truck towed to Stuart Automotive because I pretty much ripped my passenger side front wheel off my truck. It turned into quite a bit more damage than expected. However, Doug the owner, kept me in the loop and I was left with the feeling that he had my back. Doug is a super nice guy, he actually apologized to me when he found out that the truck needed more work. My truck also needed to go to a body shop after Doug finished working on it, Doug recommended AA Auto, and based on my experience with Doug I did not hesitate to contact AA Auto. From what I can tell so far, they seem like pretty good people. I'll write a review on AA Auto when I'm done working with them. So if you are looking for a good local reference, here it is, Stuart Automotive will give you a fair deal, and outstanding customer service. My guess is that most people that have lived locally for anytime already know what I've just posted.
