The party we bought our 71 Bay window from drove it from Montana to Santa Cruz. We met him at Old Volks Home bc the engine need help after that long drive. Well, Librado and his crew did a great job getting us back on the road with great service. Now, that was about 6 years ago. In the interim, I live on the coast but had issues with finding a good air cooled professional. I finally went back to Librado to address a steering issue. He is very busy but we are scheduled in next month to get the right fix. As mentioned in previous posts about Librado's recall abilities,....he remembered me from my past patronage. That tells me good things about this owner and his team. I look forward to continued guidance and do not mind the beautiful drive down the coast road. Thank you, Stay Safe. For over thirty five years Old Volks Home has been the mechanic of choice for my 1962 Classic "Love Bug" Convertible! I give Librado, and Tony before him my very highest recommendation for their work and most of all - their genuine caring and motivation to give every job their best!I am constantly amazed how Librado can remember off the top of his head what he did on my car months - even years ago - better than I can despite him having worked on maybe a hundred cars in the intervening time!Countless times he has gone the extra mile squeezing me into his busy scheadual to take care of me when I've shown up with some unexpected emergency.
