I don't understand mechanics that well. So it is so important to me to take my car to someone that I feel is trustworthy. In my opinion Jim not only does excellent work but he is the most trustworthy person that I've met in that industry!

Drove over today to get a second opinion on a steering issue with my car. Jim dropped what he was doing when I showed up and drove around in my car with me to diagnose the issue. After a thorough inspection and explanation Jim assured me that the previous diagnoses was correct and explained why. Great Service!

I use Jim for everything, oil changes and up. ALWAYS honest, he will find the cheapest way to fix the problem. I had problems accelerating, thought it might be the transmission and two shops said that was it. Brought it to Jim on a recommendation and he found it was a bad valve. Out the door for 10% what the other guys quoted for the transmission. I tell anyone with a problem to go to him.

We aren't from Santa Cruz and we started hearing a scary noise from our car, so we ran over here around 5:30 and Jim was nice enough to stay a little late and help us out. Great guy, great service!
