My trusted mechanic for over 10 years. Alan services all my family s vehicles and our work fleet of vans too!We trust Alan tremendously and appreciate his prompt attention to our needs and always fair pricing. It feels great to have a mechanic you trust and Alan has our loyalty for life!

Alan has done amazing work for me and a real value for what he has done. His work is consistently excellent. He seems to always be busy and I have noted some pretty nice classics being entrusted to his care. So, apparently he is quite an expert on older cars as well as new ones, which is something harder to find today. He always explains what he is doing and why he did the repair I don't think I have ever trusted a mechanic as much or been as pleased with the work as with his shop.Highly recommended

My husband and I are new customers of Alan Rice. The work he has done on our truck has been good. Very good location next to Winchester Auto Parts. Organized and clean shop and friendly service. Alan Rice has many great reviews.

Alan Rice is a top notch mechanic and Ian is as well. The prices are fair, it's easy to make an appointment, and it's easy to talk with them. And most importantly, they are trustworthy. I always bring my car and my daughter's car here, and I've recommended Alan to friends, who were pleased with the service they received.

After many years with my previous mechanic/shop, I switched to Alan Rice Automotive. My previous mechanic specialized in European cars. I wasn't sure if a more "general" mechanic, who worked on all types of vehicles, would be as good, but Alan has been GREAT! He has accurately diagnosed every problem the car has had, and fixed it quickly - providing me with a clear explanation as to what needed to be done and why. I have great confidence in his skills and honest assessment of what's happening with my car. I trust him and appreciate his soft-spoken demeanor. And, added to both these important qualities, his prices are very affordable (which is why I left my previous mechanic - I couldn't afford him anymore). I'd recommend Alan to anyone looking for a good, reliable place to take their car.

Very thoughtful guy (Alan) he would tell you the most important/critical work that is needed to be done and which that can wait. Done a few little adjustments on my van after 3 months he has done work on it never charged a penny!Highly recommended by locals!

I brought my car in for a check up this time and it went pretty quick and affordably. I am a huge fan of Alan Rice Automotive ever since they fixed my car the last time it was acting up, after other mechanics weren't able to diagnose the problem, Alan was able to get to the bottom of it. And also got my fairly clean-emission car with a check engine light challenge to pass smog. I always appreciate A.R.A.'s expertise and persistence to fix my car!!

Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for car care! Took my ranger in, Alan and Josh were extremely helpful and very professional. I was very happy to have found this shop and will continue to keep going back for any work needed on my vehicles!
