Subaru of Sonora gave me the best rate. That's why I chose them. Then Joe, my salesperson, treated me extremely well. He was kind on the phone, listened to my concerns, helped me at every turn. He was ready for me when I came in - didn't make me wait. The paperwork was quick. He took me out to the car and sat with me while he taught me about the Legacy. He was there for me even after I picked up my car. Then the finance guy was also very good. He didn't try to sell me on all the extras and warranties after I told him I wasn't interested in them. They actually delivered my car to my home on the Peninsula, about 150 miles away. 5 stars all around.

I ve been driving for 62 years and have owned many vehicles from Rambler to Porsche, assorted pickups, a Bronco for deep Sierra snow, a Samurai for fun. Also, in there were four Subaru's driven in the Sierra, Colorado, and the miles in between.The best experience I ve had purchasing a vehicle occurred with Matthew Dunlap and Subaru of Sonora when I recently downsized from two vehicles to one. Matthew truly listened to my lists of requirements, preferences, limitations, and the wish list . He is very knowledgeable, available, patient and was interested in providing the vehicle that would best meet my needs within my price range. We studied several new and used Subaru's and compared outright purchase and leasing. Now I m happily back in a Subaru, a Forester this time. The excellent service has continued with follow-up calls to check that all is well and to answer any further questions I have about the vehicle. Thanks to Matthew and the rest of the staff.

They've very busy but they'll still got our broken company truck in diagnostic and fixed it I know I have to go pick it up as is already fixed but I got sent out town for work!, I apologize in advance I'll be picking up truck!! When back next week.

I drove a total of 4 hours to buy a specific Crosstrek. I met with Jacob who helped me acquire the vehicle and gave me the BEST deal ever. I went to many dealers in the Bay area but, there is no comparison. We had one of the best car buying experience thanks to Jacob. He was very respectful of our time, he has the patience to explain details about the car and some other features. He is a real car guy who has some amazing stuff and a lot of car knowledge. Ashur in finance was very helpful, he guided us through the whole buying process. Over all they made my car buying enjoyable, easy and quick. Thank you very much Jacob, Ashur and Subaru of Sonora for helping me with our 1st Subaru and my wife's dream car.

Salesman inexperienced, lacked basic knowledge, didn't listen to what I wanted, tried repeatedly to 'upsell' to specified 'don't want list'. Waste of time. Promised me a week ago that he would search for what I wanted and get back to me. Still waiting for update. Nada. Is this the new or rural "typical".

Had the great pleasure of working with Joe Carne the last couple of weeks. It was my first new vehicle, but Joe was incredibly patient as he answered all of my questions.My family's only ever owned Toyotas and Hondas so I was hesitant about buying Subaru. Joe quelled my fears by thoroughly explaining the drivetrain warranty and any questions I had about the vehicle.We had communicated virtually for awhile. After finding the right vehicle and securing financing, I showed up and in very quick manner, I was out on my way in my new vehicle. Car buying usually as a bad rep of being a painstaking process, but Joe along with the finance manager, Richard, made my first financed vehicle a much easier one.I will definitely recommend Subaru of Sonora, Joe and Richard to everyone I know in search of a Ford or Subaru!Thank you so much, Joe, Richard, and the team!

Jacob was excellent. Very knowledgeable on the models and extremely pleasant person to work with. I had at least three fairly extraordinary issues relative to my transaction and he went out of his way to help me resolve all of them. I went into the dealership just to explore options for a future purchase/trade-in. I left the dealership with an excellent new car that met all my needs AND ALL my issues resolved. Look Jacob up if you want a great car-buying experience.

We bought a vehicle for our family here last weekend and this place is more than excellent. The office area is clean and they have a nice little room with popcorn, water, coffee/tea and a TV which was convenient. The staff was honest and friendly from the people in the financing department to the person who sold us our vehicle. We dealt with Gary for our purchase and he was absolutely AMAZING. He spoke to us with respect, and honesty (which many dealers don't), and went above and beyond for our entire family. He was kind and went out of his way to make sure that even my younger son was happy and had a good experience, which he definitely didn't have to do. I cannot say enough nice things about this place, and this staff. On top of that their prices on vehicles are awesome. We had our car checked by our own mechanic and everything was as promised. We ended up with a reliable vehicle from Subaru of Sonora and a great experience to go with it.

Car buying made easy! Jacob was knowledgeable and polite. I would highly recommend this dealership and Jacob! EDIT after purchasing vehicle I had service done there, the man who wrote me up on 2nd visit did not ask if I had a coupon, which I did, they would not accept coupon once service was done. It is a small thing I know but to loose a customer because of this???? I went another time and the front desk lady was telling another couple the cost of their oil change, they were shocked. She then said well they should have told you that when you booked your appointment. When she was done with them, I asked him if mine would be the same. She said yes, you were not told us in advance, which I replied no. Again this is a small thing, but the small things add up. I have not been back and will not go back.

My wife and I have purchased a lot if vehicles over the years, all from dealerships. We drove two hours to purchase an F250 from this dealership. We worked with Mary, who was great, and sent her a few things while on the way. Pic of my driver's license, VIN on our trade-in etc. We were in and out in two hours, which was quicker than I thought. Minimal back and forth with price and they were able to get us where we were comfortable. One of the best experiences we have had with purchasing a vehicle. Thank you again Mary. You did great.

The sales staff were knowledgeable and friendly with no pressure. In fact, at my first visit left without committing to any deals. I wanted to sleep on it. The dealership was clean and quiet, a relaxing place to think through a deal.They really stuck to their word. The terms we arrived at were really to my advantage, but they kept their word. I really appreciate that. After shopping around in the area, I was sure no one could beat their deal. I was sure about the car, the options package, and the dealer. Why wouldn t I make the purchase here. Special shout out to Jacob, the most easy-going car salesman ever I ve seen.

After two co-workers recommended this place to my husband and I we decided to check it out.After we found the perfect vehicle for us online we then chose financing options, vehicle options, and any other specials all within the online page.From there a rep texted asking for a few more pieces of information and shortly after we were in the shop for a test drive.The experience overall was very easy and smooth for my husband and I and I definitely recommend this shop to others. Isiah was a great agent, and was never pushy but gave options when available.Overall our online experience plus in store time took around five-six hours.

Jacob help me on the internet understood my needs and helped me. Had other offers but he helped me get a great price and had the color I wanted. When I got there he Greeted me out front and help me. I was in there less than two hours from start to finish we worked on the deal got me everything he could and was happy with the business. This was a great place to buy from I recommend it to people

Should you shop here? YES. Is it easy and painless? YES. We just bought a Subaru Ascent from Isaiah and Greg, and we had an excellent experience. Nice folks who treat you with respect and honesty. We did all the paperwork online, got a great price the FIRST time, and felt very comfortable buying from nice LOCAL people. Thanks for the great deal, and great experience!

PLEASE READMy husband gave a 5 start review last month because our purchasing experience on our 2017 truck was great. With that said however, unfortunately we will need to update our review to a 1 for the following reason:1. After driving 400 miles, the change oil light came on. When I called Sonora Ford, they offered a free oil change as expected but unfortunately we live 2 hours away so a 200+ mile drive wasn't worth the $180 oil change.2. A couple weeks after our purchase, it started to rain heavily. When we turned on our windshield wipers, they made the view even worse and had obviously not been changed.3. After getting the oil changed at our local dealership, we were told our brake pads were a 3mm, requiring a change sooner than later. That's another $200+.We will let the windshield wipers go, but not having the oil changed and driving away on low break pads is unacceptable to us. Especially since we just spent $70,000 at your dealership. What stresses us out the most is ... if a simple oil change wasn't completed, what else wasn't done?

My Subaru representative, Isiah Martinez, was very helpful with my purchase of a Subaru Crosstrek. He was kind, informative, and most importantly, extremely professional. He was able to get me a good pricing on my first new car purchase. He answered all my questions and was able to work with me for multiple days to ensure I fully understood everything and that I was happy and confident with my purchase. I had the best experience with Justin at Subaru of Sonora. There was no hard sales pitch and no pressure. The entire staff was very pleasant and helpful in every way. This is the 2nd vehicle I purchased from Subaru of Sonora and I would highly recommend them for my 3rd.
