Excellent from start to finish. My salesman, Joe Carne stayed right on point finding the perfect car for my needs along with Cedar and Richard who made the signing clear and pain free. Also got me approved with a great lender. I would recommend Sonora Ford/Subaru to anyone. This dealership understands the meaning of Service.

The sales associate Sarah was so nice to work with. She greeted me with a welcoming smile. I was so nervous as to this was my first time buying a vehicle from a dealership. Sarah made my experience so easy. I really felt that she genuinely cared and was so knowledgeable about the vehicles in the lot. I highly recommend to go see her and experience her awesome vibes for yourself!

Been a service and sales customer for years.Went to look at trading in a vehicle that was just repaired (after the second attempt to fix the problem with a combined bill of over 6K) and getting into a different vehicle. To keep the story simple, I was given an offensive offer when they obviously had room to work. They made no attempt to work a deal, I will be using a new repair shop and sales office from here on out.

I booked an oil change, on my 1 year old Explorer, 3 weeks prior to my appointment. I dropped the car off at 9am (the appointed time) and received paperwork indicating the car would be done no later than 4pm. The service writer tried to sell me some $700 package of "recommended work." This surprised me as the car is only 1 year old, and I bought it new. I pointed that out and she tried to sell me on 2 other lower priced packages, which I also declined, reminding her the car was 1 YEAR OLD! As 4pm came I decided they must have forgotten to call me, so I got a ride to the dealership. Upon arrival I was told my car was not ready. I was shocked, as this was a simple oil change. I questioned the service writer and she said they always take this long. Well, I have purchased 4 new cars at this location in the last 8 years, and I have NEVER had to wait 8 hours for an oil change. Nor has anyone tried to sell me service on a new car that should not be necessary. When my car was finally done, the service writer tried to sell me on getting an air filter! Are you kidding? On a 1 year old car?! WTH Ford, your service has dramatically dropped and I am appalled that after spending as much money as I have on cars at your center, over the years, you're trying to put the high pressure sales on other service. Besides how long would it take to change the air filter? You need to get your act together. You are seriously alienating a long time customer.

I called and scheduled my first (of two) complimentary oil change for my new 2023 ranger on a Friday as a waiter, when I got there Monday at 8am they first asked if I was getting picked up and I told him a scheduled as a waiter, he then asked if I did it online, I told him no I called and scheduled it, that's where I knew they didn't even keep my appointment after I called. He then tells me it's going to be one hundred something dollars, I then had to tell him that it's supposed to be complimentary. At this point I'm already disappointed because they should of had all my information ready and ready to take my truck in and service it. So I didn't end up leaving the dealership until around 10:30. I have been a mechanic and worked in shops for 15+ years and over two hours is absolutely unacceptable and just poor time management for a service. I talked to another gentleman and he said everytime he's at the sonora dealership it's a 2-3 hour wait time. I'm so disappointed that I won't even be back for the second complimentary service, or anything for that matter.

I bought a used 2019 Ford F250 from Sonora Ford and the salesman Mike was fantastic. There was no sales gimmicks and he answered all of my questions thoroughly. I have bought many vehicles and this the best experience I have had. He went above and beyond even after the sale to make me happy. With salesman like Mike I will be sending my friends and family to Sonora Ford. Thanks Mike!

Very good people who get straight to business. Had an issue with my used vehicle as soon as I took it home and they took care of it no charge and no questions asked. I would definitely come back for sales and service.

If I could give negative stars I would. Worst service ever. Went in there for an oil change and they ended up having my truck for a week. On top of that dents the side of my truck along with putting 2 scratches that go all the way past the paint along the ENTIRE LENGTH OF MY TRUCK! The service manager (chuck) treated me as a punk little kid when I confronted him about it and had a nasty attitude with me and told me he would not touch the dents or scratches that they put in it but would detail my truck and ended up just being a generic wash to it that took all day. Not only that they will not call me and tell me when my truck is done this has happened the 2 other times I ve dropped my truck off. On top of that my coworker also had his truck there the same week and he had the exact same experience. What ever you do, do not take ur vehicle her drive the extra 45 mins to go to the valley. I will definitely be talking with corporate about the individuals I interacted with. Not to mention there are individuals there that have multiple encounters with damaging customers vehicles!

Ed and the Sonora Ford team were amazing! They made the process fast and painless. They listened to what I wanted/needed and didn't try to push upgrades on us. They offered everything that would be beneficial but didnt force it. I would recommend Sonora Ford and Ed especially to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

Purchasing a car can be so stressful from finding the right vehicle that checks all the boxes to getting set up with the right auto salesman. I have been taking my Ford to Sonora Ford for years now. I am female and 'never' have to worry about them taking advantage of me. They actually tell me what is pertinent to be done now and why. Unlike other dealerships, they let me decide on other issues that I can decide to do at the same time or in the near future. I would recommend Sonora Ford to everyone.

Ordered a 2024 Maverick Lariat on July 17th, It came in right on schedule on November 30th. Sonora Ford kept me advised during the build and ship process. Excellent customer service. Love the truck!

Went to bought a $25,000 car used bought it for my daughter we noticed the bumper was slightly out. We asked the sales rep to fix it. He said he would. He also came and told me that they did all they could but couldn t push the bumper back in place we still bought the vehicle, but would really appreciate it if they could of or still take it somewhere else or or they could ve taken it so it could be fixed properly since they cannot fix it correctly. My daughter still likes the car but it s just a little minor thing that just sticks out all I m asking is to get pushed back in fix correctly since on the work order it says that you guys tried. But since you re trying failed, you should ve took it somewhere else And would appreciate if you can.They noticed it was broken when they tried to push it back and just left it. They said they are honest to the customers but when their mechanics touch something and break something they don t fix it they don t pay for it they want you to fix it and pay for it, dealership work in not professional.They don t treat you like you could buy a car straight out. They treat you like the car that s used.

The sale person Sara and the financing department at Sonora Ford were so good to me. They were very helpful answering all my questions and were very nice. Sara took me step by step in the purchase of my car. I would recommend her and the dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new or used car. Great People! Great Service!

I can not gave a good review. I was told to have my jeep at sevice department by 10:30am on Friday, October 6, 2023. The employee Heath was very rude. Told me he would call when the vehicle was looked at , I called at 4:00 pm, still not looked at. I called Monday monrning and told them that i was coming to get my vehicle and dont touch it. Took to another dealer and car was running by 1:00 pm that afternoon.

They found an oil leak, pan leaks on a 23,000 mile Impreza Premium.Apparently Subaru Corp. used substandard glue for sealing the pans.Even though I live in Venice CA, my Service Advisor Kevin, made sure they took care of the problem, giving me a loan vehicle until the problem was fixed.Many dealerships would not have addressed the issue and let me go on my merry way. I believe Subaru SonoraIs a company of ethical standards!This is my first Subaru.I have always driven Toyota before this.I am thankful I took my vehicle to Sonora, where I actually purchased the vehicle.Thank you again!Kevin and Team!

Got a great deal from an honest salesman , more than I expected having lived the last 50 years in the Bay Area. It's refreshing to run across someone who is looking out for your best interest ,instead of pushing for the largest commission. Gary Powell is awesome ! We picked up a brand new 2018 Edge Titanium and got a great price on our trade-in .We just love it. Thanks again To all the very polite people at Sonora Ford !

Sonora Ford is the only place I take my truck to be serviced. From the beginning I have had to drive it back and forth from TN taking care of my dad's murder and the service crew understood how important it has been for me to keep this truck running then and still today. I get a fair price for exceptional work. And now I helped my daughter buy a used car from Sonora Ford. Jim and the finance man were a great team. They both worked hard getting me a low rate and reasonable payments on a car that is just right for my daughter. I appreciate everyone there and will gladly continue to be a loyal customer

Horrible communication! I had a terrible experience with my service adviser and the service manager. A total lack of communication and a list of excuses versus an apology. Plus they tried to overcharge me but luckily I caught it. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere.

Just purchased a used 2017 Subaru Forester.This review will reflect this business, not the vehicle.This was my first time buying a vehicle this expensive and from a certified dealer. While researching inventory online, I called ahead to this dealership to verify inventory because I live in the mountains an hour away. A Ford expert answered my call and invited me down right away, no appointment necessary.In hindsight, it occurs to me that the Ford expert that helped me was likely covering for the Subaru expert who might have been tied up with someone else. I note this because while it was very accommodating to be helped right away regardless of expert availability, I discovered that many features of my new vehicle were not explained in full detail perhaps because some of the Subaru s advanced details were not well known by my agent. Regardless, he was incredibly helpful, friendly, and easygoing.The whole process from start to finish at the dealership took about 3 hours and included a 15 minute test drive with a very basic overview of the features (we were actively driving during most of the explanation). Because I knew the vehicle that I wanted and applied for financing beforehand, I didn t feel pressured or pushed at all. Actually, there were several moments when I felt that I had to ask for more information about the vehicle than I was being voluntarily given. Again, another symptom of unfamiliarity that made me slightly wish I was working with a Subaru expert.I was given a free Carfax report with my purchase. The main finances guy was interesting to work with and made paperwork simple and easy to follow. He was obviously an expert in his role in a way that bespoke experience that only comes with time. This was very comforting during the final stretch of my time here.Exhaustive Minor Details While waiting on credit reports, paperwork, etc. in the box , or area with all of the desks, I was only slightly comfortable.Socially, again I wasn t feeling pushed or pressured and I didn t detect a hint of guile from my agent.My seat at the agent s desk was a single step up from a basic plastic chair much like you d find at the DMV. It did mot match the agent s desk and therefore left me reclining too far away from the relatively short amount of paperwork I needed to sign.The waiting area (presumably for customers waiting on auto services) is large and furnished with couches, vending machines, and an advanced coffee machine with self-serve cappuccinos. The easy caffeine was a nice touch!There is a lot of construction work taking place in the already large desk space. Also, there is an excessive amount of space in the room, making it hard to relax. It was not busy during my visit around 2PM on a Sunday in March. Had a good, easy experience and shook hands with countless employees that congratulated me as I departed, even though I was getting a competitive interest rate.I would recommend this dealership again, but more so later on when they have refined the experience. It very much feels like a work-in-progress business that is genuinely trying to improve with a focus on the customer experience. The compassionate effort under the hood of this business is obvious, regardless of the work being performed. This goes a long way for me as a fellow business owner and is the biggest justification for my 5 star review. Thanks for reading!

Just The Way Car Buying Should Be - Upfront and HonestWas looking for a particular truck that Sonora Ford had. Sent in a request late one night and was called in the morning by Mike Nelson that it was available. From our first conversation, to meeting Mike in person, to test driving and buying the truck, the process was straight forward and honest. Mike is the kind of person that we would like to continue a car buying relationship for our future buying experiences. We have bought 10 new cars in our adult lives as well as some used cars along the way and working with Mike was the best I ve had in many years. He had everything ready when I walked in and explained everything thoroughly. Sonora Ford is wonderful with their small town personalized care that understands it s customers needs. Worth the drive! If you live out of state, they can work with you to deliver a car across the United States, so shop online. I am so glad we discovered Sonora Ford and happy we had Mike as our salesperson.

Went in for The works oil change.Tried to say I needed a dirty brake fluid clean and changeout for $218I had complete brake job a week before going to Sonora Ford. The rep came back and said he only looked at the outside of the reservoir (don t they inspect inside the reservoir??).They were supposed to rotate tires. Did They???Now I did some research on a previous customer that put nail polish on her back tires. When she said her tires weren t rotated they brought the mechanic in and he looked her in the eye and said I rotated them . She showed him the polish and picture she took before she took it in. They took it back into the bay and rotated the tires, but never apologized to her. Just beware of them!!!!! Very disappointed and dissatisfied with them now.
