My alert light came on indicating a low tire. After inflating the tire a couple of times, I took the car in to check the leak. They repaired the tire but a couple of weeks later the indicater light came in again. I took the car back. They determined that in addition to the puncture leak initially repaired, the stem was faulty. Because they did not find the stem leak the first time, they instead a new stem at no charge. They were pleasant, and my wait time was minimal.

This bald guy in the front desk made us feel like we were such a burden to be there and can't even look at us eye to eye having a conversation to help us. However, the mechanic was super helpful and reached out to us if we needed any help. This happened on a saturday at around 4 pm.

If I could give them negative stars I would. Worst experience at any auto center in my life!!I called in, in the morning to ask about a new tire as mine had a huge 2 inch gaping hole in it. I let them know I couldn't get the car to the shop but could bring in the tire. I would install it myself. The agent let me know they didn't have the tire but could order it. I was required to pay for the tire over the phone. I brought the tire in at 11:30 am. I was asked if I had the wobbly tire problem. I reminded them my tire blew and they were replacing it. No wobbly tire. No biggie. They let me know they would call when it was ready. I received a call around 3pm to let me know they would start working on my car with the wobbly tire but they couldn't find the keys. I reminded the agent (same agent) that I didn't have a wobbly tire and my car wasn't there. I just needed a tire replacement and mount. The agent was flustered and rude. He said he would call me when it was finished. At 3:45 he called to inform me that my wobbly tire had been repaired! My goodness. They can't keep their customers straight or update the account on what the actual problem was. I know it's not the end of the world but I was not impressed. I arrived at 4:45 to pick up my tire. I waited for quite some time observing the agent treat another employee and customer with complete disrespect and contempt. I wanted to leave but had already paid. As I waited for 20 minutes, I was never acknowledged. No "we will be with you as soon as possible". Nothing. When it was my turn, the agent asked my name. "Oh, the wobbly tire is finished!" I wonder if I said yes, if I would have been given the other customers car! After they brought out the tire, the agent asked me to pay again. I reminded the agent (same fellow, no name tag) that I had paid over the phone. He continually questioned me and informed me no deposit was posted to my account. He asked for a receipt. I let him know I paid over the phone. I wasn't given one. He asked for my email copy. He hadn't asked for my email. He asked who helped me. Heaven sakes! He helped me. I had to call my credit card company to verify and give them permission to tell him I had already paid!If you are able, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

The mechanic Jose was awesome and knew what was wrong right away, but I feel I got totally ripped off by the company. They charged me $250 for a diagnostic and then $200 on top for labor to tighten one strut. Just feels like I was taken advantage of, a little predatory.

Our tire flatted 1 mile from the Sonoma shop on 19160 Sonoma Highway and 10 minutes before the shop closed for the day. Jack said they would wait for us to arrive and greeted us like we were valued customers. Our tires were toast which I knew from the mechanic in Sacramento, but I was hoping to get this trip out of them. Kevin and Matt stayed a hour+ overtime to get a new set of tires on our car. They were gracious to help us out and were friendly, never giving us the impression they begrudged working late. We got professional service, good tires and a fair price. We recommend Sonoma Tires (CarCare-2U) Sonoma Store.

Brought my truck in for an alignment and tire rotation. They stripped a lug nut while taking the tires off. I have theft proof ones. I even gave them the specialty socket to take them off. They didn't have a direct replacement for it. I didn't expect them to. But they were going to "sell" me one. I have blacked out rims and lug nuts. The replacement they were going to try and sell me is chrome. After getting my truck back, they tried to tell me the lug nut was already like that, even though the technician told me they had stripped it. They finally compensated me for the cost of replacing all the lug nuts. But, had to negotiate for them to do it. Just think they should have done it without me having to present a case about it. Over 2 hours later, my truck pulls to the left and is worse off than before. If you have other options. I'd go somewhere else.

Office staff is very sketchy, attitude, arrogant and deceptive.Make sure you ask detailed questions regarding rebates. Staff is very unclear (perhaps intentionally) when selling the rebate as a single dollar value for a set of tires or a dollar value per tire. Staff was unable to remove tire from rim and had to perform this ourselves.Staff tried to oversell guarantees. Will never take our business here again.

Listen, people of Sonoma. My personal experience with this place of when I bought new tires here reflects the entire staff; workmanship and sales. Bought all four tires and mounted. None of these tires and wheels were ever balanced. This created a very unsafe driving event at speeds over 40mph. Furthermore, over the years since my experience, others have told me of such events of a wheel falling off. This place is 100% unreliable and unsafe. Just found out about another service experience that is inexcusable.

Brought my car in for a tire rotation. Told it would be an hour. Came back 1 1/2 hours later and my car hadn't been touched. Owner very rude, could have cared less, said the staff was at lunch. Took my car elsewhere. This used to be a nice place, reliable and friendly staff. New ownership changed that! Will never go here again.

Called at 10 am on a Tues. to ask about rotating and balancing our tires. The guy said it would take 2 hrs. We brought it in at 11 and got a heavy upsell for an oil change we didn't need. We called at 3 to find out what was up. Told us it would be done at 5. Called at 5:45 and the guy said it still needed to be aligned - we said we never authorized alignment. Guy said it ready then. We got there 10 minutes later and it's still on the rack - the guy (we then realize he was the only one working there) lowers the car and hand tightens the lug nuts while we wait. Then he again gives us attitude about what we should have had done. Seriously, dude?! Go elsewhere like we will be doing from now on. Not even worth one star.

This just happened earlier today. I called ahead asking if we could bring in a tire to be patched as we just found a screw in it. The gentleman on the phone said "Sure - but bring it in soon we are getting full. Leave the car and we'll get to it before the end of the day." We brought it in a half-hour later at 3pm and they close at 6pm today. We took the tire off the car to make it easier. Our son carried the tire in and the guy working there was so rude. He looked at it and said the tire was too worn. He wouldn't do it. Then he walked away. The tire is only 2 years old. So much for the wonderful Sonoma charm I always tell everybody about. It was not at Sonoma Tire today. Bad experience. We put on the spare. He will go to his mechanic in SF next week. And I won't ever recommend Sonoma Tire to anyone again. How embarrassing.

I went in to have a tire replaced. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They gave me a great price and I added a oil change.

They do not have the best customer service. I never leave reviews but I feel compelled to give everyone a heads up. Having to deal with car issues isn t fun to start with but to top it off with not so nice people just makes it worst! I had a nail in my tire and they suggested new tires . I knew something wasn t right so I went to Dwitts tires also in sonoma for a second opinion and they had me back in the road within 20 min!!! No new tires, it was the easiest patch that only ended costing me $35 instead of $100+ at sonoma tires, also the guys at dwitts are a lot more friendly and they get it!

I would not trust these people one little bit. I took my car to have a puncture repaired, they called me after a while and said the tire, could not be repaired because the nail was too close to the side wall, It is a high performance, high cost tire which he then said would necessitate replacing all.I asked him to put my full size spare and wheel on which he then did. To get a second opinion I took the tire to DeWitts tire service in Sonoma who showed me the tire and the wax mark around the nail that Sonoma tire had marked it with. It was in the middle of the tread nowhere even close to the side wall.He repaired it without incidence.I am truly not sure what has happened to honesty and integrity within the business community anymore, do people simply believe the consumer is stupid...?

This review is a bit late but I still think about the bad service I received here about a year ago. Took my truck in, 2015 Tacoma and only had it for less than and year, for a nail in the tire. Dropped it off and came back for it later in the day. When I came back to pick it up discovered my front drivers seat was covered in black oil dust. I went in to complain and the guy working came out to see the issue at the same time the guy who worked on my truck came out with a spray bottle and started spraying some liquid onto the seat which soaked the black dust into the seat. The guy was also covered in this black oil and I could see he took no prevention to keep his dirt off the cars he was working on. Then the guy on the front counter said he would pay for the car washers to clean it and if I brought him the cleaning bill. Mind you the car washers only wash cars not detail them and he said it as if he didn't give a dam, i felt that they ruined it therefore they should clean it. They were unapologetic and didn't care that my new truck had a brand new seat ruined and pretty much told me to go away. I will never go there again, I continue to share this story and will so. I support local businesses but never this one. I can see why they get so many bad reviews.

Needed to get a tire replace on my Tesla S. They very efficiently obtained one and made time to mount it. So far, so good. Trouble is that they rotated the tires. The fronts and the tears tires are a different size. The rear tires scrap the front wheel wells when the steering wheel is turned. When I questioned this I was told that it was not a problem. It was late in the day. Clearly they did not want to be bothered. Who needs slightly surly, passive aggressive service. Had to go to Tesla service to get the problem fixed. I have been using Sonoma Tire for many years but I have had several problem like this with them in more recent history. I will not be going there again.

Went in to ask about a nail in my tire to see about a patch. The manager had his tech glance at the tire. After a few seconds the tech muttered non repairable, while the manager immediately echoed non repairable a few seconds later with no explanation as to why. I decided to go elsewhere for a second opinion and found mike's brake and alignment down the street. Mikes told me it was for sure repairable and they repaired my tire in thirty minutes. Avoid sonoma tire if you can. The service is extremely poor.

Make sure you ask about any promos and deals. I use the oil change card purchased in SF. Been going there 13 years. Moved to Vallejo so I go to Sonoma tires now.

First of all I'd like to say up until the point I went to put my wheel and tire on my truck I was pleased with the experience at the shop. The younger service writer was very helpful and took care of me promptly.Unfortunately when I did get home to mount my wheel and tire on my second truck I noticed that the wheel had several large marks in the paint around the edges of the rim and in the center around my hub where clearly the wheel balance shoe goes on for balancing.I took it back immediately to the service writer who helped me who was friendly and I explained and showed him that not one of my other wheels after two tire set replacements on the life of the wheels had ANY marks on them. So he went to get his manager. The manager came out and instantly remarked "That's why we don't mount customer tires on wheels" to which I had to reply since in my younger years I spent several years busting tires in a shop "What does that have to do with marks on the wheel?"This man was clearly ready to argue and fight with me over it on a 50 dollar tire swap. He went in and asked his tire tech if the marks had been there previously after I clearly showed him not one other wheel had a mark and of course the kid told him they where already there. This man comes out and says my guy says they where already there and I believe my guy. and he proceeded to tell me the marks "clearly" where there already.Really frustrating when a store manager argues with a customer and takes his young tire guys word when clearly the marks where new and not to be found on any other wheel. Owning up to this and refunding my 50 dollars would have been the professional and mature way to handle the situation. Then they would have had a return customer. Just frustrated I didn't read the DOZENS of poor reviews prior to going down there.

I had positive experiences during my recent transactions at Sonoma Tires and I will definitely tell my friends and family to go there too. Sorry to hear that others had negative experiences and those reviews almost had me avoid the shop. However I wanted to give them a try myself and my car is driving better than it has in years! Happy to support Sonoma Tires.

Damaged my car, lowered my tire pressure, and lied to me about parts needing to be replaced and repaired.I took my car in for a tire rotation and everything seemed to go OK, but the tech cross threaded one of my lug nuts so the rotation took a couple more hours than it should have. Not a big deal. The next day I am driving and my low tire pressure warning light comes on, it was not on prior to my visit to get the rotation. Turns out they set the pressure to all four tires far below the recommended level. A few weeks later I go to replace my own brake pads, because at the visit for the rotation one of the employees told me they were very low and needed to be replaced, but I was not able to take one of the wheels off because they had cross thread another lug nut. I took my car back in and waited another 45 minutes for it to be fixed. I then got my wheels off only to discover that my brakes where nowhere near needing to be replaced and the rotors that supposedly needed to be resurfaced were fine as well. I will never take any vehicle I own here again and encourage all others to proceed with extreme caution. Lastly, two weeks ago I reached out to the owner to try and find an amicable resolution and have yet to receive a response.

Didn t go to buy tires, just visiting from out of town and needed an allen wrench to fix a rented bike. Was told by the front desk guy to ask the tech in the garage. He was working on a tire and I didn t want to interrupt him. The desk guy told me to because he was just a tech. I politely waited for him to turn around and asked if he could help me out. I was told by the tech I had to wait until he finish with the tires. All he needed to do was walk to the other side of the service bay to grab an allen wrench. It would have taken 1 min out of his day to help a stranger in need. I was in the service industry for many years and would go out of my way for someone in need. It is a reflection of myself and the businesses I represented. Pass it forward is a great way to live! I certainly hope Sonoma has a different option when it comes to buying tires.

The worst customer service. Called in today to order a tire. The owner picks up, takes all my info down, I asked if the tire would be here today and his response was I wouldn t have made this into a whole charade if it weren t going to be here. I hung up and went elsewhere.

I have nothing good to say about Sonoma Tire s agitated and rude employees. Obviously a poor work environment and didn t seem like they were all that happy to be there. I made a comment about a previous situation with Big O tires and the guy at the front counter couldn t wait to explain to me because I didn t already know that they weren t big O tires . Not worth the hassle. - Luke

The one time I went here for an alignment I was told I needed over $400 worth of work. I got a second opinion and the only issue was they didn't tighten the lug nuts on my front 2 tires... I would recommend traveling to Costco

One of the MOST untrustworthy places to take your car. They may have tires BUT DO NOT let ANY of their workers near your vehicle without your visual presence. They tell you very expensive things are wrong that aren't--verified by 2 other mechanics who agreed there was absolutely nothing wrong-period! I give them one star for tires. Buy the tires and take 'em with you!

This morning I notice a very small wire in my left rear tire, the hole was about the size of a paper clip, being that the shop I used to work at was closed for the weekend I went to Sonoma Tires and asked I they could patch my tire. The employee that helped me told me that there was no way he could repair the tire and that I would have to buy a whole new tire and I know for a fact that the tire is repairable because I have done those types of repairs all day long at my recent job. As a Sonoma resident it is very disappointing to see this in my own town at a place that is right down town.
