Very happy I chose this place to service my Land Rover. My wife and I just moved back to the Sonoma area after living overseas for the past three years and her Land Rover was making braking noise. I had heard this place was honest and did great work so I dropped it off thinking it was going to be a huge expense getting brakes replaced. Frank calls me a couple hours later and tells me it was just a simple cleaning and lubed the brake pad backings and slides and that an expensive brake job was not necessary. So pleased with their up front honesty and quality of work. I highly suggest Mike Larbre Automotive for your automotive maintenance. Trustworthy and fast!

We have been taking our cars to be serviced by Mike Larbre and his team for over 20 years and have always had a satisfactory experience. To be able to trust your mechanic is imperative and we have that with Mike and Frank.

I ve been looking for a local automotive repair shop for my hybrid Sonata. Based on reviews and recommendations I decided to try Larbres. Frank was professional and followed up promptly with his recommendations and pricing. Had me out of there in just a few hours. I don t think I ve seen a cleaner, better organized shop..

Larbre is the place to go for proper diagnostic and repair for whatever you have. It's not a discount place, so if you're looking for cheap repair, don't bother. Larbre is for those of us who value quality repair and open communication on what is going on and what is needed.

I always appreciate the honesty about which work Larbre recommends completing vs. which work can really wait until a future visit to the shop. They are fast, succinct in communication about the problems that need addressing, and they're willing to work around my crazy schedule. Was having trouble starting the car, Frank checked it over, couldn t duplicate my problem but investigated what he could for a very reasonable charge. We ll be bringing the car back to have other work done. Car has a lot of miles on it, but it s a great car and worth the effort to keep it in shape. Seems like Larbre is a good place to go. Looking for a new car repair place in a new town can be a terrifying experience, as difficult as finding a new doctor you can trust (and at least I know my own body! :-)From the minute we walked into Labre, Frank made us feel welcome, supported and comfortable, like family members turning to a cousin with a problem. Catching up on some VIM, Very Important Maintenance on the Jeep. Frank was afoot, checking in with his mechanics. One of the employees gave me a ride home and in no time the car was finished. After discovering that the floors of the Jeep were wet, I had talked to Frank about the leaks, thinking that the sunroof ducts were clogged. Well, one rainstorm, or atmospheric river, as they re now known, was followed by another and another with little, if any, break in between the torrents. After a very wet driving experience of late, all I could think of was taking the Jeep down to Larbre while there s still time before the upcoming monsoon. Mid-afternoon I finally made it down there and Frank had a mechanic look at it while I was there. Here s the deal: Frank is a very down-to-earth guy and will give you an honest estimate, without adding on extras like some places. If you don t agree with the bill, discuss whatever it is. Larbre is a very honest, clean and fair establishment. They are known for going out of their way to help out a customer. This courtesy has been shown to me since day one. Frank is very easy to talk to, and won t steer you wrong as far as what your car needs. I was surprised by a different diagnosis on the leak, and the final bill was even less than estimated! My family and I are leaving for Disneyland in a few days and the Honda dealership scared us by saying we needed a few things fixed and of course the quote was outrageous. My husband called into Larbre's since the company he works for takes all their work trucks there. My husband talked with Frank and he told Casey to come on in and they would take a look. I brought my car in, they checked, found only one problem with the drive belt and within the hour had replaced it for us. I brought in my 2 daughters while dropping the car off and Frank was so kind, straight to the point, and wonderful to my girls. We will always be taking our car there for anything. Added point, we live 35 minutes away and will absolutely make the commute into Sonoma!
