Lara s smog station is the Best Smog place around. I from a county in N CA needed to have my motorhome smogged and Diego worked with me on getting it done. Diego is the owner and attentive to his customers and communicates with you know how the test are going.

Lara s smog station is a little hard to find but like the saying its a hidden gem Best smog station I ve been too really nice people and Diego the owner is really cool and amazing definitely stop by when you need to get your smog done trust me you ll like it.

We were passing through Pinnacles when our a/c stopped working. After approaching multiple shops for help, we were directed to Diego at Lara s Auto Repair/Smog Station. Diego was able to fit us in right away and quickly identified the issue. Diego explained what the cost would be and didn t charge for the inspection. He was very direct, informative, transparent and kind - which is greatly appreciated as a female who has dealt with condescension in these situations before. Diego will take good care of you!

I was in a pinch to get the 26 ft church bus smogged. I went to Lara's smog station first thing in the morning, since I was an oversized vehicle. He fit me right in and smogged the church bus in less than a half hour. Will be going here Every two years!

Nobody wanted to smog my 30 year old 35' RV, but Diego said as long as I got in early we'd get it done. He was true to his word, he was willing to answer my stupid questions and hear my silly stories and he didn't charge me extra. I have taken my vehicles in numerous times and every time it's been a great experience. I have literally driven my car in when it was on it's last leg because a belt broke and I was taken care of right away. I came in last minute on a Saturday for a smog check. I was running late and the business was almost closing, luckily Diego was nice enough to wait for me a few minutes. He went ahead and completed a smog check, even showed me how he did it. He didn t take long and was very professional and energetic despite being the last minute customer of the day. Strongly recommend!

I was not able to stop by this shop because we are on a roadtrip headed south for another 200 miles. Diego still answered all my questions about my brake pad needing replacement. Thank you for being so helpful

I've been going to Lara's for all my mechanical needs. Good prices with awesome results. Talk to "Diego" when going there. He will make sure your fully educated on your vehicle issue. Fog inpections are quick and affordable.

If you are in need of a vehicle emissions check and smog certificate this is the place to get it done. The level of service at this shop is very good to say the least. The shop personnel are quite knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and proficient. It only took the mechanic (and shop owner) about 15 mins to complete the whole process. This was surprising to me since it used to take hours to get this type of work done. I actually had two vehicles checked on the same day and without any issues. They also do general repairs there. So if you are having problems with your vehicle, and or just need a routine tune-up or service, give them a try I sure that you willl be pleasantly surprised.

Honest, reliable, professional, excellent customer service, highly recommended and very friendly all around. After the 3rd, come back tomorrow between 8:30-5pm within a period of a month, and trying to make appointments but wouldn t, I was done. Obviously didn t want or need my business, felt that way. Too bad, I try to keep business local!

Excellent and speedy service! My knowledge on cars, especially with the mechanical stuff, is not very good so Diego was very helpful in explaining in detail step by step of what he was doing and why when it came my air fuel sensor. He even went out of his way to find me a great quality brand item! Lara's smog is awesome!Update: 2/23/2022My 2nd visit and this time it was for a smog check. This visit was exactly like my first experience; excellent! I had to get my car smogged in order to pay for my DMV registration renewal that's due the next day! Luckily Diego was very understanding and kind enough to squeeze me into his schedule. My car was finished in less than 15 minutes and he even took the time run a scan on my car with the reader because I had concerns on the maintenance required light. The cost was extremely reasonable and the service you get at Lara Smog is always top notch. Great place. I had a wonderful experience taking in my rv for a smog. That should say a lot since who likes getting thier vehicle smogged? Not only was he able to smog my older motorhome he knew his stuff very well. Only took about an hour for my motorhome. Last place I took it to took 2+ hours. Super nice guy and very friendly. Everything was explained before hand and no extra charges or anything like that. Will definitely be taking my other vehicles next time they need a smog.

Not good just went there today and they tell me i cannot get my smog because its a basic smog station and that i have to go to gilroy to get it done its california as long as its a star station it should not matter i dont like to play the race card but that is what i feel my money is good just like the next human very disappointed nevry will go backi work hard just like everyone.

I just had my water pump replaced on my 2004 chevy tahoe i took it in to get to work done an they got it done the next day quick and fast they are really good and better then soledad tire's .
