Very caring garage! I had a flat tire coming from the freeway and they took the time to look for me and fix my tire. Although my tire wasn t able to be saved the mechanic was empathetic and gave me a discount for the service. He was able to guide me to another garage that offered the tire I needed and I was able to get everything fix. Thank you again for your help.

I took my jeep to F&M with a problem that many have said only the dealership can fix. Well, with the expertise provided by their mechanics not only is my jeep fixed but it s running better than ever! It only took one day to fix with a price I had no problem paying, very professional with the time, effort and hospitality from this company I WILL be going back if anything happens to my vehicles. Double check your invoice with this place!!!. I requested a quote for a transmission replacement and was quoted a bit over $3200. That price included the core charge ($500) that would normally be refunded once the old part (transmission) was returned to the vendor. If the quote was done correctly, the price would have been around $2700. Pocketing money that should be returned to customers is outrageous. I couldn't believe that they tried to sell this as a "great deal." There was no issue with the price of labor, but it seems like they were trying to hustle on parts pricing.

F& M Auto Repair did such an efficient job in getting our car running again ! Our car was non operational for more than a year before we decided to take it to a shop . As soon as my car was towed at this repair shop , Frank the owner called me right away and informed me that my car will be inspected and will be in touch of the results . He was very thorough and informative. He informed me what s needed Before end of the day , he got our car running again ! So thankful and happy ! The shop did an excellent and such efficient job ! The intercooler hose blew off while traveling north. The nicest people! Frank got on it right away and test drove the vehicle to make sure it stayed tightened. Lady in the office was really friendly. Stopped in at the shop after getting an engine issue notification on the car. Immediately provided us service and checked all possible causes for the issue. Even gave the car a test drive to make sure it was okay. Great service, very nice workers would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Asked a local body shop that I know and like for a recommendation on a local mechanic. I could not have been more pleased. Stopped by to get an appointment for a brake inspection and they said they could do it in an hour. I had a previously scheduled appointment, so we set it up for the next day. Very friendly, accommodating and thorough. Nice to see a mechanic using a torque wrench to final tighten the lug nuts (May seem like a little thing, but shows commitment to doing things right). 2nd time coming here and I definitely found my go to place. Got service done for $30!! Where else does that happen! I was expecting $100+ easily. Very satisfied both times, Maria & Frank were very friendly and got fast service. Do yourself a favor and try this place.I ve been to other places, charged $600 for work done and they told me it wasn t the problem they thought but they did put new parts so I had to pay that plus more to fix the issue.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Through the years, I've visited many local shops. Almost all have poor to mediocre customer service with filthy offices. This shop has a legitimately friendly atmosphere. It's a husband/wife running the business. Honest, welcoming, and reasonable prices. I have the ability to do high level diagnostic work at home, but I'm not comfortable doing engine/transmission work. Frank is very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Frank and Maria are so friendly and helpful when it comes to getting your car fixed. They are able to get you in quickly to see your car. I showed up at 11am and by 1pm my car issue was diagnosed and repaired. You can truly tell they have a lot of knowledge at what they do and that they love their job.

Took my vehicle in to get seen since it was making a rattling sounds and needed alignment, had to take it back since the alignment was still not fixed the owner frank did the work but I didn t bother taking it back for the 3rd time as of now my vehicle is still making rattling sound and my alignment still pulls to the side especially in the freeway. Don t bother taking your vehicle in for alignment they don t have the equipment to make sure it s Aligned correctly.Update: Maria, contacted me on 5/11/21 to offer me a refund of $60.00. I have been taking my vehicle to F & M for over a year. They are very professional and have a nice clean office. I started by talking my 1st truck by a recommendation and loved how everything was explained. It was a pretty big job and I couldn't go check it out but they sent me photos and saved me the bad parts so I can see for myself. Everything else my cars have needed have been no different. They will work by appointment which is perfect for me. I recommend this shop.

I was traveling up the pacific coast, when my truck started experiencing acceleration issues. Frank quickly diagnosed the problem, and gave me the best price I could find in town. My truck was ready the same day, and has run perfect since the fix. Frank and Maria are smart, hard working, and honest. I'd give F&M Auto Repair more than 5 stars if I could. Service is always great here! Maria is super awesome and so is Frank! My car was done in a great timeframe I had front brakes and rotors replaced on my Volvo as well as my oil drain plug replaced due to being terribly stripped. Frank & Maria are one power duo, they ve helped me out with two of my personal vehicles and are my go to whenever some professional mechanical work done. They just went above and beyond for me yesterday they kept me up to date with my Subaru and got it done past working hrs which I couldn t believe and couldn t thank them enough. Frank is truly a great and honest mechanic with extensive knowledge. He and his wife Maria provide excellent service that is really hard to find nowadays. I've been to this shop a few times already and every time has been pleasant, and knew since my first visit that this would be my go to shop. Frank is also very informative in explaining exactly what's needed for the vehicles. Highly recommend F&M as #1 choice for your auto needs.

Frank and Maria were a huge help recently when I ran into trouble late on Friday night in the hills outside Soledad. I was in town for a weekend to see the sites, and really needed to get my car back into good shape. While some of the other local shops didn't have mechanics working on Saturday or not until late Saturday morning, I took a shot at messaging F&M, and they were willing to help out. The repair job was just as quick and on target as their customer service -- they got the job done in a little over an hour, and had me back off and running. No B&S, just good, timely service on all fronts. Frank and Maria are great.

Husband and wife are very humble. Customer service is great. They kept me Informed with text messages and pictures as they were working on my car. Price was very affordable, I had visited/ called other businesses and these guys didn't try to lowball me at all. I will definitely come back to them again if I ever have any car issues. Definitely recommend them! Very helpful over the phone as well, I reccomend calling them and explaining your situation to them first before checking other places (what I did).
