I was told about Schneider's Automotive by a neighbor use to live in Simi Valley and use them for years. I own 3 Mercedes and they were all out of warranty and I didn't want to pay the dealers price for routine maintenance. When I called to schedule a service the gentlemen I spoke with said that they service MBZ, BMW and all other European cars. The service was done as listed in the service manual . The follow up was amazing. These people are professional and I will continue to use them for my cars.

A friend recommended me to take my car here and I'm so happy I did! They really took care of me, and throughly explained to me the reasons behind the billed repair and how the systems function within my car. I was astounded that they actually recommended I didn't go through with repair and to just cut my losses and trade it in for a new car. It totally was the right move, the 2011 Chevy Cruze is a total problem car!Definitely will be returning here, I really felt like I was being taken care of by a family member

I had a really great experience recently at Schneider s. I was referred to them by America s Tires to repair a broken stud. I did have a few things that I needed to get taken care of and I was offered a free inspection and provided with a detailed list of everything that was in good condition as well as recommended repairs. And then I was given a written quote for everything I inquired about. The quote was detailed with parts, labor and fees included. The whole process was low pressure, no hard salesmanship. I spoke with four different people, and all were professional and courteous. My car was returned washed and running in great condition. The repairs were done faster than expected. I held off on the most expensive repair and I plan to get a second opinion. I doubt that Schneider s is the cheapest auto place in town. But I would trust Schneider s to do a good job and charge a fair amount, so I would likely go back regardless of the competing quote. I ve only had one experience with Schneider s, but it was a very good one, and I feel comfortable recommending them highly. I m actually really glad to have found them. I would prefer to support a local business versus the dealer where I ve been taking my car up till now.

I have been a customer now for a couple of years after being burnt at another shop. Everyone at the shop is very friendly. I used to build cars and found the shop exactly what I need a honest group of guys. They take care of the repairs exactly what you brought the vehicle in for and never tries to upsell the service. They will tell you what they see making suggestions, but there is never any pressure to perform the suggestions.

I am so grateful that I found Schneider's. Their only goal was to help me be safe driving the van I live in as a Nomad. Their compassion was appreciated & very refreshing, as were their reasonable prices. They will be my first choice & recommendation from now on. Ultimately, there was some work we did NOT do because they felt it would be a waste of my money. I have never had a more thorough safety inspection. This report came complete with pictures & personal explanation. Thank you gentleman

Great service and customer satisfaction. We were referred by a neighbor to try this shop to help with our car problems. Our main reason we went there was to fix the death wobble on our Jeep. They were able to schedule an appointment next day and give me a diagnostic and quote of how much it will be and timeline of how long it will take. Great customer service with emailing over estimates, explaining what needed to be done, and follow up calls on the progress of the car. I was surprised by how quick they were able to complete the repairs. Once I picked up the Jeep it ran great, but to really put it to the test we went on trip up north about 600 miles round trip and did some light off roading. Guess what no death wobble !

Had a very bad experience. The mechanic was rude and the owner had a nasty attitiude. Any time I asked a question. It's was like it was beaneath him to answer just get the receptionist to answer. I asked how can I prevent for the same problem I came in for. They could not care less didn't want to answer. I will never come back. Don't recremend

We needed to get a 2000 F-150 that had been sitting in storage for several years road ready again. We did a lot of work ourselves (new brakes, tie rods, control arms etc) and after purchasing new tires from Americas tire they recommended Schneiders automotive for a wheel alignment. They booked us in within a couple days, did a complimentary and very detailed multi point inspection with photos for us and noticed the ball joints needed to be replaced first, we picked up the truck, fixed those and they got us back in quickly. We are very happy with the knowledge and professionalism plus kindness of the techs and staff there. They did an excellent job and their prompt communication with us throughout the process was great! They also called afterwards to check in to make sure everything was good. We highly recommend them for your automotive needs!Services: Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment

Thank you again to Schneider Automotive! I brought my car in for service and Joe and Steve provided the repair estimate to review and were really great about going over the details for me! The mechanics did a fantastic job of fixing my brakes and suspension. The car is running great now. I have nothing short of a raving 5-Star review for Schneiders! I was referred by my boyfriend's family who has been going there for decades. I see why! Not only are they kind and have the most amazing customer service I've ever witnessed at a mechanic shop, but they are HONEST. Do you know how hard it is to find an honest mechanic? I had taken my car into the Hyundai dealership over a month ago and they said my car was great and didn't need work. My intuition told me different. It wasn't until my car wouldn't start that I knew my intuition was right.Schneiders gave me a complete breakdown of the services I needed to get done from high priority to low. They didn't push me or try to sell me anything I didn't need. They told me the facts and left it in my hands to decide. Not only that but also gave me a free car wash coupon and a fancy water bottle and pen to round out this incredible experience. Steve and Joe are amazing and make you feel safe and that you're in good hands.Even if I move out of Simi one day, I will be driving to take my car into them for maintenance. When I find something good... Joe & Steve are the best. I have been a lifetime customer for a few years. My only regret is that I did not use them earlier. I have piece of mind when I bring in our cars that they will get fixed correctly & we will not be charged for any unnecessary work. I also like the fact that they go through the vehicle & advise if any additional work is recommended. They are the best automotive repair shop I have ever been to.

Schneiders has serviced my family s vehicles for a long time and will continue to do so, they are fantastically communicative and honest about what should get done and what can be put off, and they re always friendly. It s a small shop though so it can be busy, plan ahead

I have been using Schneider's for almost fifteen years, back when Mitch Schneider owned and ran it. Even with the transition to new ownership several years ago, Schneider's continue to provide excellent service and reliability. They recently repaired a bent axle on my 2000 Toyota Tacoma and despite it's age and Toyota changing the part number for the replacement part were able to locate it and replace it. Had a great experience with Schneider's after I bought a used car that required some fixing. I felt completely taken care of, and wasn't worried that work was getting done in a cheap / unreliable manor. On top of this the office staff is full of great personalities, who obviously care about the work they are doing.Their online inspection report was thorough, and transparent making me feel like they actually took their time to check everything and only recommend services that were absolutely necessary. I highly recommend them, and will continue to take my cars to them in the future!

I've been using Schneider's for over five years now and, as usual, I am extremely happy with their service.The only thing I want to point out is that lately the shuttle service they offer does not work as well as it did. It is obvious that the guys at the counter and in the garage are all way too busy to be driving customers back and forth. I rely on this service and hope they can find a resolution to this issue in the near future.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change
