There is absolutely no reason to go to anywhere other than Jim's for your tire needs in Simi Valley. Support a shop that has been in Simi since there was a Simi. Their customer service is second to none. You will not be disappointed.

I'm giving two stars because I've used Jim's tires one other time and their performance/customer service was great. The missing three stars are because they do not remove the old weights from tires before balancing them and my wheels were not bent.Today, I dropped off two 205/55/R16 tires/wheels, did not leave the vehicle, and asked for the cheapest set to replace them. I was told a turnaround time of one hour to two hours.I retuned two hours later and my tires were still sitting out front where I had left them. I asked the guy inside for a guesstimate on when they would be done and he explained that the 1-2 hours was the install time and not how long it would be until they were done.After three and a half hour I got my tires back and went home to put them on my car to find that the weights installed were rubbing on the calipers and I had to take the tires back. The original weights were still on, in the correct place for the wheels.The issue for me is when I retuned, I asked the service worker why they didn't remove the old weights and he said that is not normal to remove the old weights. I asked him again and he said "we can remove the old weights but they help keep the wheel balanced."That rubbed me wrong and prompted the review. They were great once they saw me taking pictures of my tires and even cleaned the wheels and tires.- DanPhoto info: Red - old weights, yellow - weights added and removed, green - final weights.

Very professional and helpful. Had a slow leak in my tire from a screw and they fixed it and at no charge. It was unexpected!!! Will definitely go back if I need any other service.I was given an approximate time frame to have it fixed and I was checked out at the time as promised. I highly recommend this place. They have been consistently professional, friendly, and have provided top notch customer service. Thanks guys!!

We had to do some emergency repairs on my wife's car, and they were able to do repairs same day that other places have taken 3 or 4 days on, for a great value. Excellent experience overall, glad we went here.

Being a girl, it s hard to find a place to take your car that you can trust not to upsell you. I took my car here for a routine maintenance and had mentioned that I d been experiencing a vibration when coming to a stop. They went above and beyond with this service. They didn t upsell me and they only did what I absolutely needed done at a very reasonable price. And they got rid of the vibration! I will definitely be back and be recommending them to all of my friends and family. Thank you guys!

The repair service is always great, but they sometimes fall short on the customer service aspects of the business. In being asked to leave my car for service, there was no offer of a ride home, and no one ever called to let me know my car was ready.

Great service! My son was able to watch them working on my car and he loved it, especially when they showed him what caused my tire to go flat. Top notch employees. I'm definitely coming back for all my tire needs.

I always do my car service with Jim tires, but not anymore, since Edgar or Raffi are not in charge, the experience in that place is horrible, the new people on the counter are the most slow, lazy and they don't care about the costumers, there was a waiting line!! And he don't even care and keep working at the same speed, even the mechanics are finishing they work before this guy!!! I was waiting for the first time in Jim's over 35 min just to get to the counter, the sad thing it's there was another 2 ladies, waiting after me and they got frustrated and leave the place before me, now I need to find another trustable place to fix my car. So disappointed.

I showed up at Jim s tires with a nail in my tires and was instantly helped. The man at the front desk was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. The service was fast and great as well, my tire was fixed. Definitely recommend this spot over any other spot in simi valley. 5 stars

Customer service was terrible. Stated they couldn't patch a Tesla tire and I needed to buy a tire for my brand new car. I later researched online that the tire could be patched. Dont go here.

My son took my vehicle in for me at 8 am when they opened. They said an alignment takes 20 minutes, but there were 3 cars in front of my vehicle, left over from the previous day. After 2.5 hours, my son asked how much longer the wait would be, and they happened to "just" finish my vehicle. They sent him on his way without the alignment report. I called and asked why they didn't give my son the alignment report. "We forgot, but bring it back, we can put your vehicle up on the rack and pull the report from the machine". So I go back about 20 minutes before closing. I wait 10 minutes then they put it up on the rack. 20 minutes later, I see a worker drive off in my vehicle. All they were supposed to do was pull the report. I asked "where is he going with my vehicle?" "Oh, they test drive it after an alignment." I said they supposedly did the alignment this morning, they were just pulling the report. "OH, they must have found something that was off". So I ask "so they didn't do their job correct this morning? Because I know my vehicle didn't go out of alignment during the day, it's been sitting in my driveway all day". I was told "ya. I'm not sure".What a bunch of CLOWNS! Never going back here again!

Raffi and his team exhibit an exceptional blend of friendliness, professionalism, and courtesy. I am extremely happy to have recently come across this establishment. The service provided was of remarkable quality, accompanied by excellent value. Their efficiency and swiftness were truly commendable. I recommend them to anyone seeking outstanding service.

This place used to be good. But it seems like they got bought out and now just try to give you the quick fix . Had to come back twice as my tire pressure light kept coming on after initial service and coming back after noticing this after their first fix from the initial visit. This place has gone down hill and they don t care about your tires or alignment. None of their repairs worked and I ended up going to Americas Tires up the street. Avoid at all costs, it s not the same Jim s Tires.

I've never had an issue coming here until today. I don't appreciate being lied to or trying to up charge me by hundreds of dollars and telling me I'm getting a discount because they think your a woman and you don't know anything about cars or tires!I'm mind blown that you guys were going to charge me $1200 for 4 good year tires the max out of pocket for these tires is $800!!!! & when I told them I was going somewhere else for a way lesser price they wanted to match the price!I don't appreciate it and I no longer trust coming here.

Great people. Great Customer Service. Walked in to get my leaky tire checked. Tech quickly checked it; told me there was a nail in there. Took the nail out and refilled tire - All FOR NO CHARGE.

Great Service!!! Fast, honest and very friendly. Raffy the manager walked us thru in detail with all our options and made sure we got the best service. I highly recommend Jim s Tire. My whole family goes there

I went in early morning with a slow leak in my tire, I was prepared to but a new tire, the employees were really quick and helpful even though they had a few customers lined up already. They repaired a nail in my tire within a few minutes and the best part at no cost presumably since it was my first time, very friendly and I will definitely be giving them my business from now on. I love small businesses, these guys really know how to take care of their customers!

Had an appt yesterday for coupon Special oil change. I made the appointment for 11am. I was on time but car was not taken for 30 minutes with all open bays.The coupon was for synthic blend, to inspect alignment , battery ck, filter ,etc and rotate tires.I asked again about tire rotation and also requested SW 30 oil for .Was told a blend so went ahead. Oil was ow20 whatever that is. Tires were not rotated as I had marked prior to appt. When I cked out invoice given with no inspect report of any kind.I will not go back as was not given honest service.2hrs there. Sorry Jim.

Tire purchases can be very daunting and intimidating, but the team at Jim s made things so easy and explained everything in a way I could even understand. I ll definitely be back and would recommend to everyone!

We've gone to Jim's tire for over 16 years. We always received very fair pricing. For us it was the service that mattered the most. I think, before our most recent interaction we had only had one bad experience. We recently had a very negative experience. This wasn't due to the same employees that we've dealt with for so many years but the new manager. Apparently John, the original owner sold the store. It appears the new owner (manager) no longer cares about keeping that community relationship going. That's okay as we all have many choices as to where we purchase our tires. I do however feel very bad for the long time employees of this establishment.

Spoke to someone on the phone on Monday who was polite and answered my question about what the shop would do if they happened to damage my wheels during a tire change. Even invited me to come down and he would show me the machine to ease my concerns.Showed up the next day at 5:30 (they close at 6 according to their sign in the window) but they were already locking up. Not a huge deal, I would come back tomorrow.Came back today and dealt with 2 very rude people. First guy didn't even acknowledge I was standing at the counter for at least 5 minutes. Then argued with me when I mentioned the phone conversation I had. Second guy came in with an even more rude attitude and just kept saying I didn't talk to him on the phone but I could wait 5 minutes and that person would be back. Waited 20 minutes and nobody else showed. He then begrudgingly showed me the machine and told me they shouldn't damage my wheels but if they did, they would not take any responsibility whatsoever.He then got angry at me and snapped saying that absolutely no shop would take responsibility for damaging customer property and that I was insane for even expecting it.Not sure how they are even in business with that kind of attitude and total lack of responsibility.

Best tire and wheel shop in Simi. They always take good car of me and my truck. Say hey to Jim and Jon and all the guys...don't tell 'em Steve sent you...they just might charge you extra! :)

I didn't actually purchase anything here, went in because I had a flat. Asked if they sold used tires, they said no. I said thanks and turned to walk away, and guy recommended a great place down the street. I just felt that that was really cool and stand up. The place recommended was great too and offered great price on used tire, so was definitely appreciated

Very expensive part slap shop! No preventative maintenance inspection even though it was noted on paperwork. Did not test drive vehicle before or after part slap. Very unprofessional staff. Had to return the vehicle 3 times.

Awful service and arrogant owner . A month ago my wife needed four tires for the car, they had two and they had to order two more after waiting two weeks they said they forgot to order it. We went to American tire and we saved hundreds on four tires and they got it within one week. today I had a nail in one of my tires in a repairable area , after they put the car on the jack they took 45 minutes and said they cannot repair it, that we a need a new tire for $380. We have a few cars that always need tires. They lost our business and our friends/family also. After they didn t fix the nail, I went to American and they fixed my tire without any charge, the shop is cleaner, nicer, and the people were very sweet. I was giving the Tire Man Mr. Jim a second chance today and he failed again.I guess we re all paying for the tv ads he runs.
