Folks at JBS are easy to work with. I appreciate the digital experience with clear outline of work suggested, pictures, and the ability to ask for more info if needed. This was the easiest experience I've ever had at a shop.

I take my car here whenever possible. They're always totally transparent with what the problem is and they are so honest about the necessity of a repair. They also do a great job or explaining what things are in lamens terms. I never feel like they're trying to charge me for something I don't need. Their new system even sends me pictures of each part that they think might need work. Normally I feel like autoshops try to upsell or inflate their labor costs, because they can, but I never feel that way here.

I m not from around here; took my Chevy Suburban here on a hunch after reading the reviews. My truck broke down on me out here in Simi, I was towed to the shop. The gentlemen were great; they found the issue and send me an estimate via text right away. Good service, I highly recommend this JBS.

Really a great auto shop. They are always helpful and informative and willing to explain things to you. Their new system of documenting their work and sending it to you in an online file is really slick and super helpful. The new communication software they are using really keeps you up to date on the status of your vehicle. The inspection pictures are helpful. And the ability to authorize and/or reject proposed work is super convenient.

Update: unfortunately they don t work on RVs anymoreThe team at JBS went above and beyond with my motorhome. When they found a major problem they gave me all of the options and scenarios to fix the problem. In the end it was a simple fix and I was on my way. I got my RV back in time for our trip. I highly recommend JBS Auto Services.

My Duramax diesel wasn't running good,they diagnosed the problems and handled it. I would refer them for sure! Great communication and workmanship!

Got a used expedition about a year and a half ago because we had a baby and needed a family vehicle. After a few months of driving it I noticed a shudder/Vibration coming from the transmission. Looked up on google and it told me possible Torque Converter issues. If left unchecked could cause damage to transmission.I took it to JBS to get a diagnosis and a transmission flush. They confirmed it was the torque converter and they gave me some options on how to address the issue. Replace Torque converter, which wouldn't promise that the rest of the transmission hadn't suffered damage, and would have to remove transmission anyway to replace it or replace the whole thing with a new one. Didn't charge me for diagnosis this time.After months of deciding and driving it I noticed it getting worse so i decided the best thing would be a whole new unit.The guys there ordered one and even in these times of part shortages they were able to get one in fairly quickly. I dropped it off over the weekend and when Monday rolled around they started and finished the job in one day!!After picking it up Travis told me it may feel weird driving for a bit until the computer learns my driving patterns. However once I started driving it I noticed not only was the transmission no longer shuddering, the entire vehicle seemed to feel different in a good way. It started quicker than it used to, steering felt tighter and the transmission shifted seamlessly down the highway. I swear they had given me a new truck buts it my expedition without a doubt.Im not sure what they did, maybe just the transmission and reprogramming fixed a lot of other issues but I am beyond happy with the finished product. Cant wait to drive this beast around like it was intended to.Highly recommend JBS Auto services for anything you need done. They're very transparent and will tell you the truth about what need to be done. Give you options and let you decide. They also stand behind what they do. Competitively priced as well. I brought my 2004 Toyota Camry into JBS Auto Services with a whole lot of issues (noises in the AC unit, smelling gasoline after turning off engine, check engine light on, hesitation when accelerating, etc). I had been putting off taking it to a shop because I m so horrified of being ripped of since I don t know anything about cars. But I m so happy I found out about JBS and brought it to them. Chris was super nice and understanding with me while I explained to him all the issues. He was able to give me an estimate in a few hours that was actually a lot less than I was anticipating. He explained what my car needed and why without overwhelming me with too much information that I wouldn t understand. He also explained what I needed to have fixed ASAP and what issues could wait a little bit. I was going to have to leave my car there over the weekend and he offered to meet me there on his day off to get me my car back after it was fixed so I wouldn t haven t to go without a car the whole weekend. Then, to my surprise he made sure my car was done early for me on Friday right before they closed for the weekend. I really appreciated the fast and professional service and never plan on taking my car anywhere else. It s running great again and I feel safe on the road knowing I put my car in the right hands. With Travis, Chris and the crew, there's no going wrong with this place. They're fair, honest and incredibly helpful when it comes to your vehicle. I've recommended them to my brothers and family and some take their vehicles to them that live in Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park. Let that sink in for a moment. These guys are awesome and I'd encourage you to send them as much business as they can handle.The more locations this place has, the better it is for anyone who drives (let's be honest here, that's damn near all of you!). I recently took my Dodge Durango in for an oil change and 100,000 mile service. The service was great. They had my car in and out in no time at all. The prices were very reasonable. Chris was honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. He informed me of future items that would need to be repaired, but were not an emergency. I did not deal with anyone beside Chris, but he was all around amazing. I will keep coming back and referring my friends and family! Thank you for serving our community.

I was referred to Travis at JBS by a friend who had his starter replaced on his Tundra. I took my Sequoia in for an oil change to a shop in Thousand Oaks. Since my vehicle has over 200K miles I asked them to check for any leaks. They informed me that my main seal and intake manifold were leaking. I hadn't noticed any significant leaks on the ground so I found this interesting. The repairs were going to cost close to $1000. I decided it wasn't an emergency and to get another opinion. Before taking my car to Travis I steam cleaned the engine and drove the vehicle for a couple weeks so he would be able to see more easily if there was leak. Come to find out Travis did not find any significant leaks considering the mileage on the car. There is some seepage, but no leaks. This was great news as I was heading up north to Big Sur. He checked my brakes as well which were good too. Needless to say I will be bringing my cars as well as friends and family to Travis from now on.By the way, when I rented a car from Hertz I got the shop rate and the lady at the counter said JBS...oh yeah everyone in Simi knows them. They are the place to go to get your car repaired honestly! I highly recommend JBS, Travis and Chris!

The owner Jerry is an honest mechanic, Great job for a fair price. I would not bring my cars anywhere else. We take all 3 of our cars there. He is also very involved in the community, gives back and volunteers for many events. Fast reliable service. My husband and I also took his free basic car maintenance class.

Brought my Ford Flex in for a sub-frame out internal water pump replacement. They did a great job and delivered ahead of schedule. Both Travis and Chris are straight forward in explaining what needs to be done and have a great attitude. I'm in the classic car business and ex-service writer and I will sometimes wrench on my cars. I would explicitly trust them with all my vehicle repairs that are above my "pay grade". Keep up the great work, guys!!

I don't write reviews, so this is important to me.Chris was helpful and friendly on the phone.Travis, JBS's "Diesel Guru" was also friendly and helpful. He asked all the right questions, didn't talk down to me and was sympathetic for my problem.I replaced the injectors on my 2006 F250 6.0L powerstroke then I couldn't get it started. Needless to say I thought I messed something up, bad. Travis was honest, gave my truck a hard work over and test, said he had to charge the batteries and everything else checked out good.Travis was great. I recommend this place to everyone.Great job guys.

The friendly-family feeling they give you from the moment you walk in the door. Everyone is so extremely knowledgeable and willing to help. They even go out of their way for their customer if it is needed. My favorite is the follow-up text messages we get to make sure everything is perfect. Absolutely amazing management and mechanics. Not to mention and this is huge for the mechanic field, they are absolutely the most honest guys you will ever know. Thank you, JBS! For all you do.

Travis and the guys at JBS Auto Services are awesome, they value their customers, great prices, straight forward and warranty the work. I have been taking my 03 Silverado here for 2 years now best decision we made 100%. With full confidence I recommend this shop they had my Duramax running in top shape after a bad injector.

Everytime I show up here, the guys are always busy, but very willing to help. A few times the guy look at my car immediately and told me then and there what the problem was. It ended up being an easy fix so he ordered the part and fixed it the next day. Super cool of him to do that. My whole company comes here. These dudes are really good.

JBS Auto has earned my business! I am very particular about good service, integrity and value. JBS satisfies all of these. They have addressed necessary repair without upselling or over replacing. I highly recommend JBS. I ve been taking my vehicles there the last 3-4 years. Last November, I had my brakes replaced and after about 6 months heard some noise. I called JBS and they took a look and said there was an issue with the brand of pads. JBS switched out the brakes and also changed my oil for free! These guys take great care of us and I couldn t be happier with the service and value.
