Will never ever ever go back to this place for any type of work again unless I have a death wish. After less than 6 months I had to replace my front rotors because the mechanic did not properly and securely install them the first time. He took the screws off and did not put them back on leaving me in severe danger without secure rotors and you can see in the pictures what happened from his negligent work. If you want to know what this works should look like, feel free to go on Google images. Save yourselves time and possible heartache.

Excellent workmanship at this location. The best most helpful and intelligent people on this team. My car is working absolutely perfect. I couldn t afford the payment and they offered a payment plan. Unbelievable how excellent this place was for me. 100% excellent experience with each person I encountered. Thank you guys.Leslie D

I recently took my vehicle in for a brake inspection. I received a call back within the hour letting me know my brakes were fine and had only been worn down by 40%. I ve taken other vehicles there and they ve done a great job every time. I appreciate their honesty and integrity.

Brake Masters did a really good job on brakes all the way around changing out new rotors changing out the lower and upper ball joints on the front end and replacing a fuel pump. They had all of that done in the time that they told me they would and I am very pleased with the outcome of the repairs. I would definitely suggest to my family and friends to go to Brake Masters if they ever needed anything done. Josh and Aaron were very very knowledgeable and very helpful.

I am a loyal customer to Brake Masters in Simi Valley. I go back there because their work is top notch and for the people who are very friendly and treat me with respect.Their rates and policies are great and my brake pads are covered for my lifetime. Also, they don t just do brakes; I get my oil changed there as well. You should give them a try soon and become a loyal customer like me.Thanks Guys!!!

I recently had my front rotors and brake pads replaced at the Simi Valley Brake Masters location. Both Josh and Aaron went above and beyond in providing me with excellent service. Both were professional, knowledgeable, helpful, honest and all around good guys.I'm very happy with the service and can wholeheartedly recommend BM, Josh and Aaron.

I was referred to Josh because I had a lug nut that wasn t removable when I was getting my tires changed. The lug nut shouldn t have been on the car and required a lot of work. My wife and I had been going here for years. We both always liked Juan. He seemed honest and cared about his job. Never had an issue.My wife went here a couple months ago and said dealing with the new manager (Josh) wasn't as good as dealing with Juan. She didn't make it seem like a big deal, so I didn't push it at the time.I called up just before 4:PM and asked if they could do an oil change, if I could get there in 5-10 minutes. He mentioned the time and seemed very hesitant, making me feel a bit uncomfortable, as if I was asking some super problematic question. I said I could come another day if they're too busy, but he begrudgingly agreed to do it that day.I arrived just before 4:10 PM, to an empty waiting room and never saw any other customers. I saw another car or two outside, so I assume they had been working on something else. However, Josh seemed rather irritated to be doing his job. Maybe he had plans to get to and wanted to close early? Regardless, I left there just after 4:30 PM, well before they close. So, I'm not sure why he had such a negative attitude about doing his job.I tried to be friendly when I arrived, because Juan was always so easy to deal with and I enjoyed going there. However, Josh was not as personable, seeming like he had zero personality. One word or short answers until I just gave up. When another employee walked in though, he was friendly, which is why I felt Josh was just upset about having to stay until 30 minutes before they close.I also did not prefer his choice of music. Play whatever you want on your own personal time, but when you're at work, it shouldn't be your personal preference. Be professional. When I'm at work, you won't come in and hear my music, so I shouldn't have to hear yours either. Unless this type of music is now standard at all Brake Masters? Big thank you to Blake and the Team over at Brake Masters Simi Valley. I scheduled a short notice appointment and they got my truck in early the next day. After inspection it was determined that just my back brakes needed some work. They took care of it right away and regularly communicated the needs for the truck, pricing, and when I can pick it up. Josh helped me and he seemed nice. Brought my car in for new front brake pads and to flush out brake fluid. During the service the techs noticed my left caliper was loose and it was due to a bolt with bad threads. They got a new bolt, installed it, and fixed the issues with the caliper. They also noticed my front control arms were bad and needed to be replaced. They took photos of the control arms and were able to show me when I picked up the vehicle. It was great service at a fair price. Brake Masters is awesome! I had my truck blow a brake line and I was able to have it towed to them and they had it fixed and ready on the same day! Worked with Keith this morning and was so incredibly impressed with his knowledge, honesty, and customer service. He gave great advice on my car and it s needs, without trying to push services but with the frankness of what needed to happen for the safety of the car. The prices have consistently been the lowest when I ve compared with other shops. You know what you re going to get and you feel like you re in trustworthy hands, which is such a relief when it comes to car maintenance. This is my fourth time going to this place and it won't be my last! I had a major brake issues with my front axle. Josh, who is the face at this location gave me a fair assessment, a fair price, and honesty about the job. So, I went with it and I'm very satisfied with the service and how well the brakes are holding up. I'm very used to LAND ROVER Dealership prices but today I definitely, saved a few bucks! Josh was a new person for me to deal with at this location. He was very personable and very clear in what my car needed, which is more important when paying as much as the car repairs required. Plus his estimate on the time and costs were spot on. Likewise Diego was a longer term associate there with me who even remembers me and my car after a long Covid layoff. Went to get an alignment and oil change after getting new tires at America's Tire. They were even quicker than promised and got a great price for a synthetic oil change. Time at the register took a bit longer than I would have liked because they were getting a new computer system, but that was not a service or personal issue so it's not an issue. I appreciated the professionalism of the technicians and quick affordable care. Thank you!

Josh is not believable Director and also Brakemasters has to be one of the best place to live overtaken by Bentley. I have been a loyal customer do to there honesty and help. For over 12 years I have come here for all my small fixes and oil changes. Juan has been here for a long time I know over 12 years. New manager as Juan got promoted in company is just as good as Juan. His name is Josh. With so many other problems in life to deal with, working on your car or finding a trustworthy and dependable mechanic is the last thing you want to deal with.. my daughter's car needed to just be checked to see what a noise was. They could have easily said and charged me for whatever they wanted but didn't. Fixed it and didn't even charge me because they only had to tighten a bolt. Trustworthy 100%

There were some small issues with a new brake booster and master cylinder that the guys installed I brought it back and they really took care of me by replacing everything with upgraded quality parts and didn t charge me a dime!Josh and Keith really watch out and take very good care of the customer! I highly recommend if you have need of new brakes drums rotors etc. bring your business to these fellas they are very professional and knowledgeable and will take care of you in the best way possible!Service: Brakes

My husband had replaced the Master Cylinder however the brakes still did not work correctly. I took it to Brake Masters where they could have got me for more but only charged me a small amount to use their computer on the car which made the brakes work correctly.
