Will work in a pinch, professional conduct and quick customer service, but will scratch your wheels which is what my review is primarily based off ofBased on my experience with them today, Dec 27, 23:- Didn t begin service until 30 minutes after appointment,- scratched 2 out of 4 wheels,one wheel where the Lugnuts are, I suspect from the clamp being dirty and too tight and the others are possibly marks left by a tool- gave wheels back dirty with grease/oil after tire installation, took approx 30 minutes to clean it all off the 4 wheels, which revealed the scratchesPics may not show just how visible the scratches are, but that one wheel is quite obvious beyond a glance,And I know they re wheels and will get scratches during use, but at least let me get some miles on them first :/Next time I ll wait until I can pull my whip into a custom auto shop, that way it ll get done without damage

Horrible customer service experience by sales rep Joseph . Stay away from this place. I will most definitely NOT be returning to the Simi Valley location. The tech who delivered my car was pleasant.

I had taken my car to this tire shop and they damaged my rims during the installation. I have been an automotive technician for over 10 years and I have had damaged rims at one point. I know what a damaged rim looks like from user error and if the clamp on top of the tire is worn out or secured too tight, it will damage the rim. As you can see, the rim can still be damaged even though you have new equipment. The manager Gus is not an honest man and neither are his employees if they are denying this. They stated they use all proper precautions to not damage anything. Don t even think of taking your car here, you need to take it somewhere you can trust, not a dishonest place like this. They won t treat your car with respect and will be careless during the service they do. Their insurance company is horrible too and I had the issue with Paul from Sedgwick handling my case. He was indicating what I wanted from this because my rims already had curb rash. He was trying to minimize my concern of indicating my rims were damaged by the tire shop. I provided him pictures of the damage and you can even see the fine circular scratch around the rim. He spoke to the shop and of course they were going to deny damages to the rims. They don t wanna be held accountable for damages they did. I am now stuck paying for over 500$ to repair the rims they damaged. Don t be fooled by the one star I leave them, I would give 0 stars if possible in my review.

Gus,the man in charge was caught by his ownemployees,who know me,calling me an old"douchebag". I would also like to point outthat ! asked to keep two of the four tires,!had to go back for them,but I was charged adisposal fee for all four. I also asked forbalance beads instead of sticky weightsdidn't get them. Also had two bad sensorsaccording to the service tech,l never wasnotified,informing me about that,also had togo to another shop to get an alignmentdone which was never offered to mebecause Gus made the whole experience atAmerica's Tire,so uncomfortable. I also hadto go buy a tool for them to even completemy job the day after I dropped it off! This isthe most unprofessional person I have everhad to deal with as far as customer servicegoes ! Would rate him the worst!Thanks Gus!Sincerely "douche bag" Paul.

I'm always in and out using the app for appointments, which saves time. I have been purchasing my tires and balancing and rotating them here for years. Tire rotation and balancing is part of the warranty.

Some of the reviews talk about scratched rims.This happened to us also and they told us the scratches look more like curb rash, which this car has literally never had, BUT here are my thoughts:The scratches, to me, are physically impossible to be curb rash, and from the cars I've had, these scrapes happen no matter what you do. They're from the machine that loads/unloads the tire to the rim. The scratches are in a place that can only be seen when looking close, between the rim and tire (hence why it's impossible to be curb rash). If this were a show car, I'd feel differently, but if this were a show car, we wouldn't have taken it to a big box place like this.That being said, the rep and tech took the time to come look at it, despite being short 4 techs that day and swamped. They give their opinion, explain why they didn't think it was them, take photos, and submit a claim to their insurance for review. They were both professional and calm. They listened when being spoken to and only dealt in facts.They reported to us that some wheel studs were also cross threaded (its only ever been at the dealership for any service prior to this), that there were a few studs broken/damaged, and that they will pay for it in full to have the studs replaced at brake masters. They probably could have just told us to take it to Subaru and make them fix it. Instead, they saw a problem, provided a solution, and didn't hide from it. So, would we go back? Yes. Next time, we would take photos before dropping the vehicle off if concerned about possible damage.

Great, quick service, and friendly, honest staff. Needed 4 new tires so I called and they gave me a quick quote over the phone. Went in the same day and an hour later I was all set with new tires, an easy rebate, and a awesome warranty.

Big shout out to this guys, since I moved to the area I haven't had the need for new tires, but after doing my research, they came highly recommended by reviews from all over, and all reviews are 100% accurate, THEY ARE THE BEST!I called to checked stock, tires were not available, they offered to order them, I desperately need them so call many other places to see if somebody has them in stock, nobody else had them and nobody else couldn't order them for me, so I call them back and sure enough, they order the tires for me, two days later I got the call back to let me know the tires were in, so I scheduled an appointment. On the day of my appointment I got in and out within 25 minutes, the guys were very helpful and super fast!I am VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

America's Tire in Simi Valley is an awesome store. They have great prices, and EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. They even give you a free tire pressure check, AND a free flat tire fix. Who else does that.Special thanks to DAMON and JOSHUA for their friendly and Excellent service.

This review is to point out the very poor quality control and response of a first time tire shopper at America's Tire in Simi Valley, CA.I ordered two Bridgestone Driveguard Plus tires a few days ago and got a call this morning that they are in. Excited, I took my car over to America's Tire in Simi Valley, California, dropped it off and walked back to work. Within the hour, I get a text saying the car is ready. I walk back to tire shop, see my car in the lot and examine the tires and notice that they are the wrong tires. They are not Driveguard "plus", instead, they are the regular Driveguards. I had specifically ordered the plus ones. The rep comes out and looks at the tires and agrees with me, goes back to the shop and there they were, my "plus" tires sitting there on the floor of the shop. He says, without any apology or customer appease that if I wait, they'll change them for me. Not a hint of what can we do to make you feel better, can we offer you a discount, change your wiper blades for you for free, nothing. I sat and waited another hour to get the tires switched. In the mean time, I confronted another manager and he told me that we are humans and this stuff happens. In other words, shut up and don't complain. We are getting it fixed.If I had not personally checked the tires in the parking lot, I would have driven away with the wrong ones, paid for something I didn't want and not know about it. I agree, things do go wrong, but the treatment of the customer as though I am a burden to them and I should just sit there, take it and not be appeased or compensated is the hard pill to swallow.I had to take a picture of their motto that's proudly hung over the shop. The irony of it all.

Came in with a nail in my tire ( 1.5 hour before closing time) , unfortunately it was in the side wall & couldn't be repaired, but Andy & Esmeralda were so helpful and accommodating! The tire I needed was not in stock, but gave me a loaner tire , ordered my new tire for me & got me out in time to pick up my son from school. My tire came in the very next morning , they placed the new tire & rotated the other tires for me , all in less than an hour, no appointment. So thankful for their help !! Outstanding service !

Everything is good. But if I completely buy the tires online and make an appointment, why does a tech still have to come out and look at my old tires and do tread measurements. Seems like an absolute waste of time. Just put on the new ones. Probably a policy, but that's odd and a complete time waster. Not needed at all.

They were going through a renovation which is not their fault. So they have a bathroom outside and their floors torn up and any Type of coffee refreshment wasn't available.On the more important side...They charged me absolutely nothing to plug a tire and clean all 4 of them up. Besides the wait time of almost an hour, because they were busy. They were very courteous and friendly and I will go back there again.

I went with America's Tire in the past and had very good experiences with them regarding my personal vehicles. I ended up setting up an appointment for my fleet vehicle to replace the rear tires. So I arrive for my appointment and they use the handheld to measure my tires, go over some options, and make arrangements to get approval with the fleet company to get my new rear tires installed. They provided a really good deal on some "Rocky Mountain" tires for my 2018 Ford F-150 XLT. The whole process took a little over an hour and they told me my truck was ready while I waited for the service to be provided in the lobby.They pull my truck up in front of the lobby and the guy tells me that the low pressure alarm is on due to adding 40psi max tires. My sensors have a median rating of 55psi. He was about to let me drive away with those tires installed and a low pressure warning. I let him know that this was unacceptable and they installed the wrong tires on my truck. He told me that I needed to explain this in the lobby, so I proceeded to the lobby to have a discussion. I talked to Dave who was very apologetic and wanted to make it right. He searched through the database of in stock tires and they had none available at their location. He told me that they would have a new set of Yokohama tires delivered next day and I could come back in. But in the meantime would install some Bridgestone loaner tires to get me through the day.So I get a call the next day that my tires had arrived but they were slammed so there were no appointments available that day. I made an appointment for Saturday and was able to get the tires installed which took about 40 minutes.

This place has turned to trash since Frank left (former manager from a little over a year ago). Not only is Esme their receptionist completely unprofessional, unreliable, and honestly I question her ability to actually be helpful, her arrogance is very unappealing. Esme had the audacity to rudely answer the phone when I called with obviously a mouth full of food. She was not even remorseful when I needed her to repeat herself as I could hardly understand her... and the worse part was she laughed when I was trying to get an appointment but was obviously shocked by the literal mouth full of food that was taking the priority over professionalism. I believe one apple shouldn't spoil the bunch, so I went in anyway. Unfortunately I understood the problem very clearly when I saw the manager I think "Gus" is his name flirting with her and if anything completely encouraging her unprofessionalism and ignoring customers left and right that were lining up for service. Normally when Frank was here if he had seen the line as long as it was when I came in he would have jumped in full gear to support getting everybody assisted. Not flirted with his associate and walked around clowning around as though a bunch of people didn't need help. He was a man of order and respect for the customer. It was very obvious from what I see in these reviews that the majority of the bad reviews has occurred in the last year... to no surprise that's just how long Gus has been manager. Surprise surprise. I love that Simi is so tight knit and we speak up when things are wrong or wanted to help our community. I hope others read this and hear my heart... everybody else I have encountered have been amazing, but with a manager behaving the way he was and the receptionist (first point of contact the customer deals with) this openly not caring about the customer, I only expect more horror stories from this place. Buyer beware... this place is going down hill fast. My hope is this comment/review is read and taken to heart. I hope this is read and understood this is not acceptable service. I hope this is read and Gus realizes he is being observed and the community is taking notice. Change for the better please, or respectfully find somebody that will. Literally any of the other employees I experience. Tyler, Ashton, David, Jordan... just to name a few that are literally the only hope for this place.

Bought a tire. They installed it. Now there is a scratch on the rim. Never had that happen to me before. First time at this location. Location of the scratch is 100 percent for sure due to installation due to it being on a part of the rim where curb rash wouldn t be able to touch. F service.

Honestly some of the best service I've gotten anywhere. My car got a flat tire a couple of days ago during one of the worst rain storms in a decade, and I had to pick up my kids but now couldnt... perfect storm (literally!). I called them to say I was on my way. I knew they were about to close but I just wanted to see if I could park my car there overnight so they could get it in the morning. They offered to stay open late for me and take care of it on the spot. When I got there they had kept a couple extra people to take care of it quickly and everyone was honestly so friendly - not scripted, just genuinely nice people. I even asked them to write down all of their names so I could include them in a review! (Sorry! My kids did something with the paper of names!!!!!) I wish I could list all their names! Sebastian I remember, but the rest I dont. But the team that was there at closing on Friday 2/24/2023... PHENOMONAL JOB! You just earned a life long customer for ALL your services! Thank you!

I just wanted to leave a review for the absolutely AMAZING service I received this morning at the Simi Valley America's Tires. I am a home health nurse and had patients scheduled for the entire day, which was going to include over 200 miles of driving. I woke up to find a nail in my tire and unfortunately it had to be replaced. When I showed up, the employees in the front, David, Carols, Gus, and especially Jordan were nothing but helpful. They were able to get me in and out within an hour without an appointment. They were knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly! I have been coming here for years and the experience today confirmed that I will never go anywhere else for tires. Thank you, gentleman, for getting this nurse back on the road in record time!

It is the most efficient tire store in Simi Valley. They do high volume, so make an appointment or plan to wait for a while. They recently painted the building white, proving that their corporate marketing staff has nothing better to do. The building looked far more attractive in earth tones.
