Our first time here and it was fantastic.Linda and Mike were incredibly kind and great ground managers. They were awesome with the kids, letting them play with their dog and took them around in the golf cart. Awesome hosts! The grounds were nice and quiet, but we ended up in a spot next to another family with children, so our kids were able to make friends and have fun all day.The swimming hole was great, and there were plenty of little spots around the campground to explore. We absolutely will be back!

My little family finally got to visit this weekend, and it was perfect! This place is gorgeous and serene. The landscape is picturesque but specifically the RV park is well maintained, clean, and modern. We enjoyed our early Autumn vacation and my baby had so much fun exploring, she even found little tadpoles in a very shallow enclave tide poolI can t wait to return in Spring with the new budding greenery

Designed years back. When campers weren't 9000ft long, some of the spots a little tight, but that critique is no match for the perfect relaxed river location, cleanliness, and great service we received from Mike and Linda. The place is beautiful, a short walk to water, small town amenities, and clean bathrooms. Everything was perfects, our kids couldn't have been happier. See you guys next summer!

Experience? THE BEST YOULL EVER HAVE! Been Dreaming of this place since our last time with two families and a half. Two RV's and a 25 foot Camper - no issues - Theyll help you park.THE DRIVE IN, THE STAY THERE ALL VERY SCENIC!The folks including Mike on location and Linda are absolutely amazing. I did a 5 mile run, lots of hikes, the cold water pool is perfect for therapy - ice cold real Sierra water, the BBQ place right across the street, the old relic hotel next door with a "saloon' style bar, bike trails gravel and road, and best for mountain bikes, the friendly smiles, the awesomeness of this place! I could go on! Please set me free and back to Sierra Skies!SEE YOU GUYS NEXT WEEKEND!

Linda and everyone at Sierra Skies are awesome. We booked a spot last minute, they let us come in early, and when I hurt myself on my dirt bike about 2 hours later and had to leave, they refunded us our money. Everyone wanted to help us load up too. Super friendly people. We will definitely come back as soon as I m able to ride again.

Hey folks this is a special little RV park here in Sierra City! The Yuba river is a stones throw from my space. They have a swimming hole on their property. A few photos are in.my review and their listing. They sell propane. The managers are friendly and helpful. The men's bathroom and toilet was clean and well cared for. Their prices in late July were $65 a night with full hookups. Their wifi works well. They note the spaces at this end of the campground are tight. They are. The town is wonderful. Pacific coast trail half way mark, so lots of hikers in resupply mode.

Fantastic Location! Close to the river and minutes away from all the fabulous lakes. The Park alone is beautiful. A walk up the hill to a cute town of Sierra City. Great community environment. Nicely maintained park. And the couple that runs the park are wonderful! It's like gaining an instant new family! We are definitely making this a yearly visit.

It was clean, small and quiet. The swimming "hole" water was amazingly cold and refreshing. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. Definitely a worthwhile place to be closer with nature with a little bit of necessities like bathrooms and Wi-Fi.

This place is fantastic. Staff makes you feel like you've been their friend for years. We parked our Travel Trailer there for a week or so, but drove to Reno for a few days. They were concerned that we were lost when we didn't come back to the trailer the first night and called to make sure we were okay. Just darn good people. Had a blast at the there and will be back soon!

2nd year in a row to camp here. Going back next year. Very clean restroom with nice and clean showers. The river runs behind the park. Walk right down for great water fun! There is a big swimming hole as well. The town is very small, cute and fun to shop.

Terrific location right on the river and in the center of town, walking distance to most restaurants and shops. The park is very clean and well managed; the spaces are small and tightly packed due to the steep terrain in a river canyon. You will be close to your neighbors, but most seem to understand and respect that fact and most of our fellow campers were quiet - one neighbor had their ill-behaved grandchildren with them, but that s beyond the Park s control and the managers were proactive in telling them to take the kids somewhere they could run and yell without disturbing their fellow campers. We ll definitely be back.

Super friendly, cosy site with gorgeous views, and easy access to the local amenities. Sierra City itself is really nice little town with some great places to eat. The site has an amazing swimming hole, that I guarantee you will love.

It was a nice park and a lovely area. I would just warn people though that some spaces are hard to squeeze a large trailer in. We have a 30 trailer and it was a little sketchy getting in and out of our space. Plus we were up on a steep hill which only added to the anxiety of worrying about clipping a neighbor s car, a tree or the electrical box. So if you re not a well seasoned expert at towing, I would take that into consideration. We were a little rattled getting in and out.

First time there and had a wonderful, relaxing time. Beautiful area & the Yuba River makes it so much nicer. Great park & very clean! The managers, Margie & Charlie, are super helpful, the other campers real friendly, cute little park & you can tell the managers really care by how nice it s kept.

Nice place to stay. Only complaint is that the electrical hookup was funky and had to monkey rig line to make it stay plugged in. Request a site with some shade if you can. Upper small lots get very hot during the day. Great management and relaxing area close to the lakes. Will return for a good time.

My husband & I are planning a major vacation in our Motorhome this coming June. We decided at the last minute to do a test trip to a destination that was not to far from Truckee to make sure everything in the motorhome is working. We chose an RV Park in Sierra City that I found on the Internet. Sierra Skies RV Park was a very nice and unique experience. Martly & Sheila, the Park Hosts are two very special, hard working, artistic folks. The Park was easy to get into, clean and right off the main road so that we could walk to town to enjoy a glass of wine at a restaurant that had the most beautiful garden surrounding a natural water fall and along with the camp hosts, walked and attended Sunday services at the local historical church. Great weekend, can't wait to go back.

This is a great RV Park in the heart of the gold country, miner friendly. The camp host and manager are great families.Nearby activities: There is panning, kayaking, and fishing all nearby. You're just below town, so you can walk there in minutes.

Boooooo!!! We made resos in advance on the website, and were confirmed online for a 4 night stay. On arrival, we were told tents weren't allowed, and were asked to re-locate to another site- immediately!!! Would be great if their website mentioned the fact tents aren't allowed...! The other guests were great, though the Host was rude and asked the kids to be quiet after 8pm (good luck!) and then proceeded to wake us up after 10pm to put food and camp wares in the cars, again w/o any notification or rules listed on the website indicating the same. The Owner would be well advised to market their services clearly on the website, and try very hard not to displace campers, even though their FB page clearly states, "Campground - RV Park". Shame on you, you displaced 2 adults and 5 children on the 4th of July weekend!!! You could have easily let us stay the duration, and may very well have received our thanks... May be easier to state, "No Kids, No Fun, No Tents"... then we'll all know exactly what to expect.

Best little RV park in the high Sierras with fishing, swimming and gold panning along the N. Yuba River. Family friendly, mountain bikers' destination - well maintained with laundry, bathhouse and wireless hotspots on site.

Frank P.We were looking for a new place to camp We saw the reviews and decided to try it out scheduling it for 3 nights. We never did see or meet the owners even though we were told we would have assistance with backing into the spot. I have a 27' trailer and we were set for space 7. When we arrived, no owners, just envelopes. It would have been hard enough for a small IPOD to back into the space let alone a 27" trailer. A resident came over and said I could use his spot and he helped me back in. Within 5 minutes my girlfriend gets bit by a wasp. There was a nest under the table which was hanging off a steep drop off. The web site showed a swimming hole but failed to mention you have to be a mountain goat to get to it. Needless to say, we left the following morning swearing never to return. The park is very small and sites are tight. I will say it was very clean which would have been expected for having only about 20 sites. They did not refund our last two days which was felt was unfair because I felt they have faulty advertising. Not a place I would recommend. Better off just staying off the side of the road. The only reason for the 2 stars was do to how clean it was.

Beautiful place However the managment has many rules regarding vehicles and what they will or will not accept. They are setting themselves up for an ADA lawsuit which is no joke here in California.

Small RV park. Store with essentials is 2 minutes walk away. Sight seeing is less the 40 minutes away. Facilities were clean and worked.
