We got here right before the park was going to close( she even called to make sure we were still on our way, because they close at nine and if you don't make it you have to wait until the next day)... When we finally got there, we thought that she would just give us instructions on which site to take and leave us to it. But she was kind enough to wait and walk us over to our site, and guide us in the dark. Then she even helped us pull our tow dolly over to our site. She went above and beyond In my book and I appreciated everything. Thanks for all your help we appreciated and needed it.Walkability: It's the desert you can walk anywhere you want to.

Location was good for Death Valley a long drive through the park very scenic, absolutely no cell service, good wifi for texting, staff is helpful and friendly, a bit low water pressure but it worked, compared to other parks in the area it's very nice some trees and green space.

I wanted to stay here because I was doing a hike the next morning down the road, and I was told that the pool there is very nice. However, when I arrived to ask about a availability and explained I just needed a site that I can park in since I sleep in my Prius (doesn't matter if it's an RV or rent site to me), I was told I wouldn't be allowed to stay there. They apparently require a tent and don't allow guests to sleep in their cars. I've camped in my Prius for years and never heard of this issue before. I'm glad I didn't try to make an online reservation ahead of time, as I'm guessing I would have lost my money on top of not being able to stay there.

Very nice. There is a path close by where you can take a very short but beautiful walk among water and trees which is a treat.

the bathrooms were deplorable, feces in shower, they claimed it was a sewer back up, an on going problem. I will say thear the day manager Pam had the showers cleaned by the maintainance man and he did a good job. they need to be swept and cleaned daily.Nearby activities: they have a couple of pathes around facility, 57 miles from furness creek.

Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. You can't check in before 1, which is normal, but the office doesn't even open til 1. So you can't even ask if it's okay. Even if your site is paid for and available. There's supposedly a key for the bathrooms and pool, but we were never given a key. The bathroom was clean, but run down. The floors are slippery. There's only 1 shower stall with a soggy bath mat in front of it. The stall door to the shower stall and toilet stalls were a little on the small side. You can look at someone over the door while getting out of the shower. I just used my tiny camper shower instead. There's no cell service, and their wifi is spotty. The site was clean and relatively level and the whole campground seemed clean. Also, "BR" on the map, by space 35, is not a bathroom. They didn't bother to tell us what it meant or have anything on the map to tell you either, but it's either a mobile home you can rent, or someone's home. The only restaurant in town closes at 6. That's if they even open at all. The only gas station in town is also pretty sad. You're better off staying in Pahrump!

This RV park is LOVELY. Off the beaten path and worth the money. The ambience is top notch in the evening/night, the pool is not a *HOT* springs pool. Mineral spring only at around 89, perfect for kids, but my partner was hoping for hotter. The attendant who checked us in was friendly, the wifi was fast, and the showers had hot water for DAYS. Would definitely come back again. There were some lovely nature trails and such nearby as well. This is definitely not near any restaurants, so bring a cookout meal or something to make in the rv! Really close to Death Valley NP.

Very disappointed office doesn't open till 1pm to 9pm so if you are traveling and show up early you are screwed no one to call or talk to,even though our space was reserved with a $50 deposit they got mad at us because we hooked up our tt and went to death valley to explore, they were very rude so we will Never go back to that place again,on top of all that the little museum was closed and the only restaurant in town was closed what a waste of a trip

We just stayed one night in between Death Valley and Joshua Tree. The campground itself is very nice. Dirt/gravel spots, but plenty of trees for shade. The hook-ups worked perfectly. Wifi worked great, so my 12-year old had a great finish to his night. The manager was extremely nice and friendly. He walked us to our spot and ensured we got hooked up. My son and I walked around the campground, very little amount of people there. The bathrooms were fine. Single shower stall, but looked very clean. The only downside to this place was the pool. It was advertised as a hot springs pool, but it is in dire need of an absolute scrubbing. The bottom of the pool was green with algae, mold, silt, and anything else that goes wrong with a pool without proper maintenance. Not a huge deal though, we would go back as the location is just right.

Phenomenal park, enjoyed every minute of our stay. We use an RV and the hookups were great. The laundry was convenient and had hot water, so didn t the nearby shower. Folks at the campground were nice; they answered an email query same day and showed us where to park. The grass is like walking on feathers, bouncy and soft. There are so many amenities as well that were bonus: warm pool, nearby cafe/saloon, little fishies that live in the hot springs, walking trails/boardwalks, nearby rock cave huts, a free museum in town and a gift store (both with historical items and lots of cool minerals for sale and viewing) . Definitely coming back.

Quite a gem in an unlikely place. Pam, the manager, is friendly and helpful - she suggested a site different from what I had reserved because she thought we would like it better. She helped guide us into the site. The hook-ups worked well. The bathhouse was older but clean and fully functional. The location is scenic and interesting. There is a warm spring pool, birding trails, and an endangered vole habitat. I'd return when it isn't 110 degrees! OK for large fifth wheels.

Quiet campsite/RV park. The amenities are nice with toilets , showers, laundry mat, library, microwave, hot springs, etc. Dated buildings. For desert landscape, it was pretty with the pond and hot springs. I do wish each campsite had their own fire pit but we survived. Overall nice spot.

Nice RV park on the east end of Death Valley NP. Many shaded spots, several tents sites, showers, restrooms, and hot spring pool.We used it as a base to go into Death Valley instead of the campground in Furnace Creek. It's a longer drive to get in, but our opinion Shoshone is nicer and shaded, spots are farther apart too.

Really nice place. Everything is so clean. The hot pool is a must! I think we got the best space too, just a short walk to the pool and plenty of shade. Highly recommend this place to relax and recoup for further travels.

While the park itself is lovely, the staff completely ruined our trip. When we arrived, after booking a specific site, he informed us that he had ran the sprinklers on it all day so it was too wet. He did that knowing we had booked it. So he moved us to a site right by the fire pit and closer to the highway. So we heard cars all night long. Then the next day while we were at Death Valley, he decided to flood the campsite and fire pit area. Our tent and solar panels were soaked. We got home and he had the sprinklers on at the site on the other side of us which was hitting our tent and truck. We met wonderful people here, but next time we visit the area we will be staying elsewhere. Such an unnecessary thing to do, just to ruin someone s vacation.

This is a fairly rustic rv and tent camping spot outside the entrance to Death Valley. Its very clean, has lots of grass and trees. It has a private, only to campers, warm spring pool. It is large and a bit worn but awesome. You could spend all day there soaking and swimming your aches away. Its never crowded. It has a leave one take one library, a laundry and showers. Over all we would give it a solid 7.

Nice place in a quaint town bordering Death Valley. Good RV sites, nice grassy campsites with some shade. Only one shower in each restroom may be an issue, but the library/kitchen area, fire pit area, and the warm mineral spring swimming pool are all plusses. Store, gas station, Cafe and bar all a short walk away. Would go there again.

This is a very quiet park in the desert. Hot springs pool is awesome but was down for repair in May 2022 visit. Down the road from Crow Bar restaurant only one in town. Say hi to Steve the cook..yummy food. All out side Death Valley and near Tecopa springs. Both must to visit..best Oct-April.Date farm just beyond Tecopa..great date shakes. This is good base camp for the area. A stay on way to Vegas. No cell phone service at park..text only.Service at Crow Bar.

Terrible. The place was beautiful. The lady we initially checked in with was great. The manager I think. The next day when we returned, Dave was there. He discriminated against my husband, a disabled veteran. Had him so upset and on edge he ruined the trip. We stayed in the camper the whole time. An amazing place is completely ruined by this guy. Total waste of my money. Not veteran friendly. Not ADA compliant. Left a complaint requesting they email me. Never did

We had a nice experience at this park. It is a small park with a natural spring pool which looked nice; however, we did not get a change to try it out. The grounds are well kept with large trees. The nature walk around the ponds was a nice surprise to our visit. The staff is super friendly and easily accommodated all our requests. When we are in the area again we will certainly stay again.

So this place is a hidden gem in the desert . Trees, a hot spring pool, pull-thru sites. The only negative of this place is the sites are 30amp but in my book, the charm of this oasis easily overcomes that. The sites are large with many that are very well shaded by mature trees and on top of that, IT IS QUIET!I'm sorry that I'm here for one night only. I could unwind here for a week. We will be back and next time, definitely not for an over-nighter.
