I have been bringing my Subaru to Shingle Springs Subaru for maintenance and it is always an amazing experience. I brought my Subaru in for my normal oil change on Friday. Turns out I had an hole in my oil pan that was needing immediate attention. Eric, my service advisor, had everything set up with my warranty and a loaner car ready to go. The customer service and communication is superb. They made an unexpected situation stress free and smooth. The loaner car they provided was so nice. Eric went above and beyond with everything. I am beyond grateful for his understanding and communication. Everyone I worked with is super nice and welcoming. The only thing I regret is not buying my Subaru with this dealership. After this experience, I am a customer for life.

From our first contact with Tim Gonzales, the Internet Sales Director, we were sold on Shingle Springs Subaru. Tim made the entire process of special ordering our Cross Trek absolutely enjoyable. We were very impressed at his quick responses to our email questions, and he did a great job of keeping us informed every step along the way.When we went in to purchase the car, we met Cooper. He was honestly the most low-pressure finance person we have ever worked with regarding a car sale. He made sure the extended warranty fit our needs rather than pressuring us to purchase something we didn t need or want.Lily Braudrick, the Delivery Specialist, was so impressive. She was incredibly knowledgeable in explaining all of the Cross Trek s features and answering our many questions. She spent a great deal of time with us, making sure we were comfortable with our new vehicle.It is clear that Shingle Springs Subaru does not just want to sell you a car They invite you to become part of their Subaru family. We are already looking forward to meeting their service department personnel for scheduled services.We wholeheartedly recommend Shingle Springs Subaru!

We bought our 2021 Subaru Forester Limited from Shingle Springs Subaru in February 2024 even though there are other Subaru dealers closer to where we live in Roseville.We are completely satisfied with the experience and with the way Tim and Jeff handled the whole transaction. All our questions were answered and we will definitely be visiting them again when we need another car.Omar handled the finance end of the transaction and we are also extremely satisfied with the way he walked us through finalizing the purchase.We can't say enough good things about Shingle Springs Subaru. If they are a little further away from you I can tell you they are definitely worth the trip!Update about Service Department 3/26/24:We bought some window deflectors online from Shingle Springs Subaru and I included a note that we were going to schedule a service appointment to have them installed.I scheduled a service appointment online for 9:00 AM today to have them install the window deflectors and included a note their parts department had them on order. They were done and we were on our way by 10:15 AM. Mike, the service advisor was super friendly and helpful and made the visit overall a successful visit.We are very happy with their sales and service and will be bringing our car there for service from now on!

My wife and I purchased our first Subaru yesterday and couldn't be happier with the overall experience and outcome. Tim Gonzales and Omar in Finance were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, taking the time to answer all our questions. They worked hard and gave us a great deal. My dad has purchased five Subarus from Shingle Springs Subaru and is about to buy his sixth. It was about time to get on board. Thanks again, and we'll see you in the snow!

I have never been so pleased, relaxed, and satisfied with an interaction with a car dealer as I was with Shingle Springs Subaru. TL;DR version, go there and buy your new car from them. Full version follows: Ray Emanuel, my car salesman, was the opposite of a car salesman. He was friendly, straightforward, & accommodating of my questions/ concerns. I had heard about how this dealership was a family run, non-high pressure dealer, but I was not expecting everyone there to be as friendly, as low key, and as straightforward as all of the were. I know I ve used straightforward twice (at least), but it s almost shocking when the salesman, his boss, and the finance supervisor all are going out of their way to show you the different prices of the vehicles you ve looking at, the exact amount of the discount they offer (& it isn t/ wasn t just a few hundred dollars) and which financing plan will work best so you can afford the monthly payment. It s just not how it s done in my experience and I don t ever want to shop for a car the old way again.

I am very grateful I discovered the Shingle Springs Subaru location. I worked with a few different dealerships prior to them and felt unsatisfied with the very corporate, transactional feel to my interactions with them. Working with Ernest at SSS was such a pleasant experience. The follow up I received from Sonny was a great addition. Both of them went out of their way to find the right car for me (I was very particular about my needs and desires). They were patient and trusting, and I felt like they genuinely cared about helping me. I am very happy with my purchase. Thanks so much to both of you! I bought a brand new Subaru Forester Wilderness in September 2023 from this dealership. One of my tires blew out with 2,500 miles on it so I called to get it warrantied. They told me they would not help me and to go to Les Schwab. Les Schwab was unable to help because I didn't purchase the tire there. I called Shingle Springs Subaru back and they changed to say I had to drive to a place called American Tire which is 1.5 hours away to have it looked at.They're super nice when you buy your car but once they have your money they could care less. When you buy a new car you want to feel like your in good hands but this dealership has done anything but that. I wish I read all the recent reviews. Seems like they were a good business in the past but are on a serious downhill trend.Update to dealers response: They have fully assumed that I damaged my tire when I've repeatedly told them that there is no visible damage and they never offered to have my vehicle towed. Such a bad feeling to spend that much money and be treated this way.

I have a few friends that got their car at Shingle Springs Subaru. Low pressure and very honest staff. We enjoyed doing business with everyone from sales to the owner. Good follow up after the sale as well. I will recommend to someone else.

I bought my suburu forrester at shingle springs suburu, and have been servicing it there also. they are not ordinary- they are quite different from my perspective. all of their employees appear to love their jobs and caring for their customers- i ve never experienced that at a car dealership before. they re pleasant, responsive, honest. eager to please. proactive vs reactive. hard to believe. i m so happy i found them- and btw- i love my car also!

All around great experience.Was avoiding buying a new car because the whole process seemed overwhelming. From the beginning, Shingle Springs Subaru demonstrated excellent but not overwhelming communication, flexibility, and patience that continued through the whole process. From arranging a visit and test drive, to the four hours I spent painstakingly deliberating (with myself) about buying the car, the multiple phone calls to my parents, through (my intermediate) negotiation tactics, to the financing, purchasing, trade-in, and ultimately the Love Encore visit- I really have no complaints.As a 35 year old female buying a car on my own, every question I asked was met with validation and respect. I felt the staff understood this was a significant financial decision for me and allowed me space to proceed (or not) at my own pace.Extra shout out to Lily, who went above and beyond the call of duty during our 'Love Encore' orientation of the car's tech features. Another bonus was scoring two Sierra at Tahoe lift tickets- which I'll finally be able to use with my new AWD Crosstrek.Thank you!

Drove 2 hours to by a 2013 Cummins, spent the day before on the phone making sure everything was good to go with the sale. Was asked to provide information about my mortgage, never have I ever been asked that when buying a car. Get to the car lot and the sales man Jeff crush a front end of another car with the Cummins. It dented and scratched the bed and rear passenger door on the Cummins. Oh and broke the hub cap on the passenger rear wheel. During our inspection of the vehicle found no transmission fluid on the dipstick, and was told that s how it s supposed to be after knowing we just showed up in a dodge Cummins. When we asked about getting a lower price in the truck due to the damage that would cost us an estimate of atlease$2500 we were told they would discount the price $500. Went to a different car lot and bought a 2017 for the same price with lower miles and was never asked about my mortgage. The salesman at this car a lot are just rude and very impersonal about the experience

Ray our sales person didn't push at all . When we had question he gave us a honest answer. Best yet was when we met Lily. when she went over all the fine details of the car. What a personality and knowledge.

Purchased a used vehicle from them. ended up with a minor issue and they handled it with care and speed. Jeff Tallent @ Shingle Springs is a crooked salesman. I came to see a car and he would not let me test drive the car until I have bought it first. He proceeded to send me credit application and make purchase without test driving. That is a major red flag and a sales tactic that should be gone a long time ago.

My brother hit a deer, and was looking for a new car after his was totaled. While that was a difficult experience, it did lead us to Shingle Springs Subaru. Tim spent four hours with him making sure he got the car that would best fit his needs and budget. Brett in the financing department made sure he got the best deal he could, and helped my brother buy a warranty for the used car that he bought. Everyone we met was kind and helpful, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. I truly wish I could give them ten stars.

Great place to purchase a new Subaru. When we purchase our new outback we were able to get a price through email, so when we got to the dealership there was very little haggling.One aspect of this dealer that I truly appreciated was that they let you go on the test drive without a salesperson. This give you time to get to know the car without being "sold" the whole time.Have not had much contact with the Service Department yet. Other than some follow ups from the initial sell. Purchased wheel guards when we bought the car, two weeks to get them installed. Little excessive in my view. Service is also balking about fixing a paint chip that was noted and promised in writing to be fixed at the time of sell.Will update about the service Department. Update; the service department did send a technician out to my house to take care of this paint chip. It is not the mistakes and problems that define a business, it is how they correct them. Shingle Springs Subaru did as they were supposed to do and fixed the issues that I was having. I feel that their actions speak tremendously for the type of business that are, a trustworthy one that I will do business with again.Overall the dealership is a good one. We are enjoying the new outback, lots of nice features.

TLDR: Incompetence run amuck.Terrible autorepair operation. Service doesn't talk to parts doesn't talk to cashier doesn't talk to service - who doesn't communicate with their customers. We arranged warranty work and a service for our Outback, our warranty part took forever to come in and Parts refused to call us when it came in - just said to keep checking in. The customer, who is not an autorepair professional, should not have to coordinate Service and Parts departments for themselves. When we eventually got the work done, they never called to let us know it was finished, and when we finally picked up the vehicle no one offered to go over the repairs one last time; and the battery was dead. The car wash guy had to jump it (battery tested good on the oil change paperwork, so that means the dealership did something to drain it while the car was there). These people can't get out of their own way, steer clear and take your car anywhere else.In response to Shingle Springs Subaru's response: my wife's "oil level low" light came on while she was driving home. We'll definitely be reaching out.

Shopping for a new car? This is the best place for it. I was looking for a new Subaru and ended up driving to shingle springs because I always heard they had great customer service. Not only was my dealer awesome to work with he wasn t pushy and let us test drive multiple cars to help us make our decision unlike other dealers in the area. Everyone throughout the whole buying process was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the cars. I ended up getting a 2023 Outback wilderness with a great deal and couldn t be happier it was through them. Definitely recommend if you re in the market for a Subaru !!

Bought my first Subaru here yesterday (2017 certified pre-owned Outback) and we had a great experience.Jeff and Tom were both great to work with. Very welcoming, easy going, and the whole experience was low pressure and easy. They were able to work with me on price but don t expect much haggling. They set fair prices to begin with. Overall, I would buy from here again in a heartbeat. Thanks again!

Purchased my vehicle new in January 2023 and have had hit and miss experiences with this entire team.Sales - Tim Gonzales is a snake. Will lie to you about warranties and what they cover just to have you spend money on the warranties and have them not cover the work that needs to be done. When contacted, states he will call you back in 5 minutes only to not hear from him for the rest of the day (3 hours later they closed). Failed to share all options with me when I was originally purchasing my vehicle. I would not recommend him as a salesman to anyone, ever. Overall not a good human being.Service - Usually they're pretty great. As of lately, not so much. Failed to update me on parts for my appointment then canceled on me when I was already 40 minutes into driving there. This happened 3 times for the same part, each time being told as I was already on my way. We then made ANOTHER appointment once we verified the part was in. They called the day before that appointment (I was already heading into town as I live 2 hours away so I stay somewhere closer the night before) and told me it couldn't be done. I refused rescheduling as I had already been rescheduled 3+ times before. Luckily they made the appointment happen and replaced that part under warranty. HOWEVER, several other issues occurred during this appointment. I was called and told that my warranty would not cover the paintless dent repair despite purchasing the specific dent repair warranty and being told it would cover any dent that didn't also need paint repair. This is when I called and spoke to Tim the salesman and he failed to call me back despite telling me he would. I was also told they wouldn't even attempt to fix the seatbelt receiver and rather that it would have to be replaced for over $250 when all it needs is the debris to be blown out with an air gun. Upon picking up my vehicle, I discovered that an irreplaceable personal item was missing. I had specifically warned the person moving my car about this item, that it was fragile, and that I would be upset if it was missing when I returned. No one seemed to care when I asked where my item was, rather looking irritated at my frustration and basically telling me it's my fault my item is missing because I "didn't tell the right person". I was given a card to call the manager "when they're back in a few days". They also stated they cleaned my car - apparently this just means taking a hose to the outside even though they've vacuumed the interior floors in the past. Cleaning my car isn't a big deal, just another cherry on top. Oh, also returned my car to me with 2 less bars of gasoline. Overall, the service people are pretty nice to your face until you point out their wrongdoings.
