charged me $40 even when the smog check failed the technician was not friendly at all. didn t even say hi when i drove up.go to joes smog check in north hollywood instead. way nicer there and they don t charge you if your car fails!!! this was a total rip off

About as convenient as a smog check could be. Pulled up behind one other car and only had to wait a few mins, then followed the instructions of the very kind man who allowed me to wait in my car the entire time. $70 later and I was on my way in my smog-renewed ride. So painless!

This place can be a bit pricey but they do excellent work here. I ve never had an issue with this place and they always communicate honestly and professionally. Ignacio is the man!!

Art was very friendly and smogged my vehicle in a timely fashion. Would recommend going here if you need a star smog check. Pretty painless and good service.

Went here for smog check for 2 reasons: 1) referral from mechanic; 2) a few miles closer than the place I normally go to and at around the same price with an online coupon for 50% off. However, he refused to honor the coupon, saying my car was too old. The coupon specifies an extra fee for cars from 1995 or older. My car is a 2000. He only agreed to give me a partial discount after I got back in my car and started to drive away. I only stayed out of convenience, but I should have kept going and stayed loyal to the place I used to go. I would not go back and do business with someone who's proven to be dishonest to me.

Nice people, took care of me quickly. I called around and these guys were the cheapest. Put air in my tires without asking too. Would definitely come again!

Super fast. I went there on a Saturday near lunch time and the service was very good. Price is ok (I think the price is standard).I was doing the smog check to sell my car. Very easy.

The owner was quick, friendly and professional. I drove up without an appointment. He took me immediately and was done in less than 15 minutes.

I went to this place because of the excellent reviews and they lived up to my expectations. The employees are super nice and very easy going. I was out of there in 15 minutes with no hidden fees. Smog Stop is excellent!

I showed up without appointment , they took care immediately of my car.after they noticed I failed the test 2 weeks before they asked me why and double checked that the car was ok before starting with the official test .Kind and honest !

Walked in for a STAR test. They took care of me right away and it was done in the exact amount of time that was estimated. Staff was very friendly and the shop is very clean.

Great technicians, excellent location... plus they might even offer you a free car wash with your smog check. Nice outdoor and indoor waiting areas, vending machines, and restrooms available. You know you need a smog check, unless you're driving an electric of course, so why not go to Smog Stop?

Attempted to get a smog check on a Saturday at 4:15. Although they claim to be open until 5:00 in Saturday's, I was told the smog guy had gone home half an hour earlier.
