We're quick and nice, but definitely tried to overcharge me. They thought I wouldn't know how much it should cost likely because I am a woman but once I told him that it's very high for a smog check he charged me for a smaller amount.

I've been smog checking our cars here since the 90's - even when we lived in Miracle Mile I would drive here on a Saturday afternoon to get smog check... Why? Because they're hassle free... Pull into the lot - park your car - go inside - paperwork - char checked - paperwork - done.A lot of smog only places are in weird places - a garage within a garage... Never sure if someone will back into your car while there... Eagle has what makes for a good smog experience - easy to get to - clean and safe. They've only got two bays, so if busy you may have to read a book or fiddle with your phone... I've never had to wait longer than an hour from start to finish.As long as they're in business and within reasonable driving distance I'll keep going there.

2x customer who is happy & satisfied with service here at Eagle Smog Check. Staff is always professional & helpful. My advice is to call ahead to see if they're busy before heading over because they don't really do appointments or reservations. Smog is roughly 15-20min time so I usually take a walk over to the USPS across the intersection to nab some stamps and go for a walk around the neighborhood away from the main street. Totally CoVid-19 compliant. Face masks & gloves worn by staff so be sure to do the same when being a customer.

50% more expensive than anywhere else. Smog check here is $60+$9 certificate. Every single smog testing shop in the area does it around $40. Save your money and take your car somewhere else.

I needed a smog-check today. I read several reviews of several places today, including this one. I was wary of going here, but it turned out, I had no choice, as nearly all other places were closed (it's Sunday). So I bit the bullet and just did it.I had no problems whatsoever.I walked in and walked out in a grand total of about 30 minutes. The only complaint I have is that it cost me a grand total of $68, but that's fairly standard pricing, and I didn't bother with finding a coupon (printer is out of paper).So maybe they're under new management again? I don't know. Apparently it's been about 9 months since the last review, but I saw no evidence that this was even the same place as what these others were talkin about.

I have an 80s era car that a few shops didn't want to test. Probably because they assumed it wouldn't pass. Eagle did agree to test my car and of course it failed. The friendly technician offered me a little advice on how to correct the problem and offered to retest the car for free. I took his advice and an half hour later the car passed! I recently went to a mechanic that I was skeptical about, and he did not want to attempt to smog check my car because the check engine light was turning on, but kept turning back off. He kept insisting there was a problem, but I had a feeling it was just a sensor. He wanted to fix the problem . The car was running great. He also told me that because the car required a STAR smog check, as opposed to, a regular smog check the price he promised me changed from 50$ to now $65. Not a huge deal, but I m a college student on a budget who just bought a car, every dollar counts.I woke up early before my Bartending class, and was determined to test my car so I can transfer the title to my name. I crossed upon EAGLE SMOG CHECK. I got lucky. No wait. I gave my documents to RALFY, and he scanned them, and took the car. I promise you I was there no longer than 15 minutes. The car passed everything. No check engine light. No problems with the car. I knew it.Then it s time to pay. Guess what ralfy says, there s a special for you. $50. Wow. Thank you. You made my day.Before I walked out I noticed there was a sign that said $15 wiper blades with free installation. For some reason the car I bought doesn t have wiper blades... sometimes people steal them or they get sucked and lost at car wash machines. So I kept it in mind.Today before I went to my Bartending class I looked at the weather and it said that it was going to rain at night. So I could not dare to drive my car without wiper blades. I remembered about eagle smog. So I went today before my class.Ralfy took measurements of the front window wiper blades, and picked the best blades for the job. (He has multiple brands)He tested them, and even taught me how to turned on the water, rear wiper blade, and front wiper blades. Not a big deal I know, but I just bought the car and it s a Range Rover. I appreciate it. That s customer service. That s hospitality.So time to pay, I go in and realize that the sign ACTUALLY said $15 EACH wiper blade. DAMN! Just went from 15$ to $30 real quick because my dummy head didn t read it correctly. Then guess what ralfy says, usually $30, but for you $20. YEA, SCORE!Idk why autozone had a ridiculous price for wiper blades, but this man hooked me up.Thanks eagle smog check, I m ready for the road and the rain tonight. ! ;)

I have been going to this place for 20-yrs and my car has passed every time. Then he come in to tell me my car did not pass & the reason its not passing is my on-board computer system needs to be reset. And the ONLY way I can do this is drive my car in stop & go traffic for 4 days bring it back for a retest at half price? When a retest is free. It says"PASS or FREE RETEST" right on the top of there home page of there website. But he says its half price.? Is he scamming me or what is it?

What an awful experience. Feel myself completely ripped off after visit. No service would be better than this type of service. If you don't want to waste your time and money and feel like someone is just taking advantage and using you - better avoid this place. I will never come back.

It's a smog station, what could I possibly have to say about it?This place is like my boyfriends in high school: fast, cheap, and easy. And much like in high school, I like it that way. Bonus points for close to home and good tacos. Am I talking boyfriends or smog checks you ask? Both!In all seriousness, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes with no appointment. I got my paper copy and my results sent to DMV. This means I don't have to wait in that god-awful DMV line. Yay!Tech was super-friendly and even held my drink for me so I could rummage through my mom-purse to pay.I'll be back in a few years. You know, when the DMV makes me go. At least I'll know it's a pleasant experience.

I had a good experience 2 years ago and thought I'd come back. There was no one inside the shop, just a creepy guy standing out front clipping his nails. He approached me and asked if I needed a smog check. I said yes and ask if he worked there. He said, "something like that" and told me to come inside and he will call a specialist. I got the F out of there.

This is a great smog check place. They are friendly and efficient and well-priced. I love that they'll retest your car if it doesn't pass the first time.

Wow I had no idea they didn't have to run your car while they are sending your information to Sacramento... But I was in-and-out of there in less than a 1/2 hour... No gasoline wasted and in my case my car passed they send it straight to Sacramento and they didn't even have to run my car and I question them about that but that's how it is now and they even offer a $10 discount of one of their cards ask them for the discount and tell them a friend told you so.

Save yourself the trouble and just commit to this place. Great service. I came in and it just took few minutes to they did my job, Fair price and friendly staff.

rip off place overcharge big time web page does not publish price but offers a coupon however if you do not have a coupon be ready for a $78.00 fee which is not published and hidden from customers underhandednand unethical way too expensive another calif ripoff by democrats and scum bag retailer

I agree this place will rip you off big time. Went to this place and clearly my check engine light was on the dash board to this young guy takes my money and tell me to return. I return today and then he charges me again. Really bad customer service. Do not ever come here!!!!!!!

I paid 60 dollars for a smog check and everything passed but my trucks system was reloading so he told me to drive it till it reloads . Then he said that they charge 30 dollars for a retest but on there website it says free retest ! This place is just a bunch of crook's !!! Do not go here ! They are very rude as well ! My mechanic even said they ripped me off he said they should have stopped the smog check as soon as they seen my trucks system wasn't rebooted !

These guys do a great smog inspection. Its not very fancy, but that's OK. All they do here is smog inspections and they have made me happy every time.
