They scammed me and I just found out this week. They kept insisting they "couldn't figure out what was wrong" with my car. My check engine would come and go. After throwing about 5k at my vehicle I finally took it somewhere else for a second opinion. Within 10 minutes, the new mechanic showed me that I needed two new spark plugs and that is what was causing the issue. My mind was blown, since I supposedly just got 4 new ones not long ago at BMW Mercedes service. Apparently, only 2 out of the 4 were replaced and the other two were left, but I was charged for 4 of them and I had been throwing money at other issues they claimed it could have been.

Dimitri and Jimmy have been taking care of my beloved Classic Beamer for over 25 years. Dimitri is the most amazing Mechanic/Technician and truly is a magician with his knowledge of cars ....and Jimmy, the wonderful Owner has always taken the time to take care of my car. I am so very appreciative!

Great place with honest professionals behind the counter who are willing to go the extra mile to help a client. I brought a car in which had to be totalled. In spite knowing this would just be a waste of time for them, they spent the time with the adjustor, myself and my wife to provide excellent service and advice. I recommend Jim and his team without reservation.

They did a terrible job with my car. The check engine light turned on a few minutes after leaving the shop. Took it back to them and they claimed that it was fine when they handed me the car.Not to mention this shop is one of the most expensive in the area. Mudak -

Update 03/28/2024These guys truly are great and if you need service for your BMW or Mercedes I highly recommend going to them. They treat me well and take good care of my car. I had doubts for a period of time in the past but they have earned my trust. Aside from reaching out when I was dissatisfied and making things right they also walked outside to take a quick look at my car when my friend had accidentally damaged part of the mechanism for my convertible top and they identified what was wrong and since it only took moments to correct didn't charge me a thing. This was after I had tried two other places that wouldn't even take a look without me scheduling an appointment. Jim and Dmitry are great and I look forward to continuing to bring my car to them in the future.Services: Electrical repair, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance, Oil change

The worst BMW mechanic shop to goAfter replacing the start of my car, they did not intentionally connect a positive voltage wire connecting the battery to the alternator because I refused to change the oil that day.My car battery depleted three days after, and I was stuck in the middle of the road.They are very dishonest people.

I've been taking my BMW X5 to Jim & Dimitri for years and they always deliver. They're honest, they've saved me tons of money over the years by consulting me on what needs to be done, what can wait and what is not necessary.After getting a new certified pre-owned 2018 BMW X5 from a dealer & learning what their maintenance fees and hourly rates were, I can tell you, that BMW Mercedes Service of Sherman Oaks delivers massive value. These guys are wonderful mechanics! The very best of the BEST. They are honest, tell you like it is kind of guys. They don t sugar coat anything - but their prices are extremely fair. My partner and I have used them for over ten years and they keep our used BMW s running and looking amazing.

This is a great shop! I haven't used an independent shop in years, always opting for the dealer for maintenance and even repairs. But the dealer was unable to figure out what my problem was (and yet still managed to charge me for some pretty pricy work). By contrast, these guys really took the time to analyze the problem, which ended up being quite complicated to deduce-kind of a fluke, actually--a problem in a part of the car you'd think would have had a sensor but my particular year and model does not. And they performed the repair for a price that was far less than the dealer would have charged. I absolutely recommend!Service: Engine repair

They were really reliable. I did a pre-purchase inspection months ago and they confirmed nothing was wrong with the vehicle. When I was there waiting I noticed several clients come in who were long time clients of theirs, which confirmed to me that they were a reliable business who had repeat customers. The power steering hoses needed replacing . Once again, Jim and his staff did an amazing job fixing the problem. I ve been taking my 5 series BMW for 12 years and because of the consistent care from these gentlemen, my bmw runs great! The price is fair too, half the price of what a dealership would charge. I went in for a fuel pump. Guy quotes me $600. Mentions I might need new spark plugs. Offer a discount to do everything for $575 since its my first time. I was amazed and really happy. Sure lets do it i said not knowing he was saying just for the spark plugs and routine service alone was $575. Come back to a $1100 bill. Better believe I won't be back to this place.

I have been taking my cars here over 10 years, BMW wagon, BMW X5 and BMW 3 series. They are honest and know BMWs. They only do the work needed and tell me what can wait. Their prices are competitive especially against a dealer particularly as my car is out of warranty. I highly recommend them.

BMW Mercedes Service came recommended to me by a dear friend and I m happy I listened. Jim and Dimitri are super knowledgeable and very trustworthy. The turn around time for my repair was incredible! I have more work that needs to be done to my car and I will definitely be going back there. I highly recommend these gentlemen! It s not often you feel as though you re in good hands when it comes to car repairs, but that s not the case here with Jim and Dimitri. I'm driving BMW's only for over two decades and always bring them for service to BMW Mercedes Service of Sherman Oaks. As for now I owe 4 BMW's which are getting serviced in this place. Since relocating to Los Angeles more than 9 years ago I found BMW Mercedes Benz Service by accident and have been a loyal customer since.
