I could sincerely write a novel at how incredible this place is and how amazing their staff is. I have very limited knowledge on cars and maintenance and without fail they answered every silly or dumb question I had with grace and made sure my car was in top condition. I went here numerous times over the last year for minor and major maintenance work. They drove to pickup parts for me to ensure a quick turn around and continually went above and beyond to make sure my car was safe to drive and all fixed up. I cannot recommend this place enough.Services: Electrical repair, Exhaust, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

I highly recommend! He even provides a list of recommended work to be done either immediately or over time! My car decided to completely stop working on me while I was driving down Sepulveda from the valley to LA, and Joe and his team eventually found out what was wrong with it. When I initially called Joe, I was very frazzled from my car situation, he slowly, clearly, and calmly explained to me what they would do to find out the problem and how the total will be calculated. Joe is very personable and receives a thorough explanation of what led to the problem. I strongly appreciate that they took the time to do diagnostics before jumping to conclusions like I had assumed I needed a new battery. Boy, am I glad that wasn't the case! Joe also does his best to find the best and most affordable solution. I know it can be hard to find a mechanic team you can trust: you can trust this one! I think the only downside is that they're not open on weekends to provide their lovely services, but everyone needs their rest days! I hope I can find a reliable trustworthy mechanic like Joe to go to if I ever encounter car trouble over the weekend.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Excellent mechanic shop, i can't recommend this place highly enough.I've been taking my cars to them for years, and they've always done a fantastic job on both major & minor repairs. Their work is top notch, cars are ready on time, estimates are accurate, and communication is clear & timely. No frills. No BS. No surprises. JOE AND HIS TEAM are amazing. Job well done, thank you!!!!!I ve had my car since 2007 all previous services were done by the dealership, Casa De Cadillac, were I bought my XLR. They had my car literally months and could not resolve the issue, but kept telling me they did, giving me the car back but within days, sometimes hours, It would have the same problem. This happened about 6 times and Casa de Cadillac never fixed it!Joe on the other hand, found and resolved the problem. I can t express the appreciation I have for him and I would suggest anybody who wants an honest, hard-working, nice, troubleshooting mechanic head to automotive M&M on Van Nuys Blvd. in Sherman Oaks. Cannot recommend Joe & team highly enough! Automotive M & M is truly honest and fair with their pricing. The whole team has been extremely transparent and respectful and are able to tackle any challenge you throw at them. I seldom write reviews but time after time I've been so impressed that I had to share!

Joe and the crew are awesome. My air conditioner stopped working and two other shops said I needed to replace the compressor, Joe was so honest and told us he found the lose wire! No new compressor needed at all. He has earned our business and he will earn your's too!

Joe and the M&M Automotive team are amazing. Joe is friendly and honest. Prices are exceptionally fair and make you realize how much dealerships are overcharging for materials and labor. I dropped of my car for about change (full synthetic) and a full point by point inspection. Totally time about 5 hours from drop off to phone call saying it was ready to be picked up. Total cost $88.

I had a complete flat when I pulled in and I was told he was really busy and might not be able to get to my tire that day. I had a large TV in the back seat and so I said could he recommend a place for me to get my tire fixed. Joe was stressed because honestly his shop was extremely busy and I think he had deadlines, but I couldn't leave my car with the TV in it. And he didn't want me to drive with a complete flat, and he got one of his mechanics to fix it really quick. The man who fixed my tire made sure the other ones were good also. They are busy because they're good. I've always had really good service at this shop.

Joe is reliable and honest. I've been exclusively using his service for many years and I've never returned a car with the same problem twice. He's also very fair on pricing and always willing to work with me

Joe has been our business mechanic for 10 years now. Fair prices, excellent service. i Trust Automotive M&M 100%. You can expect honest appraisals of work required with no up-sell.And no fear of work being under performed and failing .Thanks to Joe our 2007 F-150 has made it to 225,000 miles and still going strong.

I've had Joe taking care of all our cars since the early 2000s. I live far away now and still commute over for him to service our cars. Honesty, Integrity and super skilled at his job. He has always made me feel safe driving my cars and has always done repairs in such away to make it affordable. I highly recommend Automotive M&M.

M & M Automotive is the only car repair shop I will go to and fully trust. I've learned my lesson, when I was a new naive driver BEFORE exclusively taking my car to Joe ( M & M AUTOMOTIVE) I've been to several in the valley ranging from easy carwash and oil change same day servicing to businesses that claim they specialize in oil change. Nope never again.M&M goes above and beyond!They will service an oil change with all the fluids topped off and actually do it. Smog and tires and check your battery. What i love the most about this shop, is they will not pressure you for a service you don't need. They are a repair shop that is truly genuine and gives me an honest recommendation on what service or part my car needs and if I can wait a little longer on it or not. Thanks M&M automotive.

This is my review of any product or service. I had to do it for M&M. Our family has used Joe for 20+ years. He is honest, and goes great work. By honest, he will tell you what you need and what the realistic outcomes will be. He lets you know make good decisions, because he provides you great information (data.) It is pretty obvious how popular his work is. The lot is always full because his work is trustworthy. I would, and have recommended, to anyone who needs a honest non-nonsense mechanic.

I was referred to this place by a coworker. Very happy with this experience and service. Joe, the owner, is very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I called on a thursday and they set me up an appointment on Monday. I had 35K Mile maintenance done on my 2016 Accord and was very pleased with how i was treated and the quality of the work. I will be returning in the future.

I never write reviews, but I had to write one for Joe. He is the most fair and honest mechanic I have ever conducted business with. He went above and beyond what I have come to expect from most mechanics. I could tell he truly cares about his customers and wants them to have the best possible service.

Good service, they got me in on a Friday afternoon for a quick oil change and service. I did call a day before which helped. The price was good for the oil change, but they added a new filter (with consent) that I felt was too much in cost and labor. But overall good experience

A dear friend of mine decided to try out the Automotive M&M Shop and called in to inquire about services. She spoke with "Joe" who came off slightly rude over the phone... She was simply calling to inquire about services and and appointment times. "Joe" continously interrupted her, was extremely short, and snarky making comments regarding her voice tone and speech. The questions asked were to inquire about his shops services- which is his job! The rudeness was interrupted as simply he being busy and not a big deal. We went to the shop the "Joe" came off even ruder and sexist in person. He asked my friend to stop repeating herself, to not speak so loudly, not speak quickly, and the rudeness continued. My friend was NOT speaking louder than anyother person nor too quickly. The entire situation was odd... After providing a qoute which was an outrageous overcharge repairs needed on the vehicle and interrupting her we left. I have never written a yelp review and was disgusted with his communication with her versus his communication with his male associates I felt compelled to share. The shop is nothing special, a shop you can find on any corner in the valley, his reviews look fake, and he doesnt derserve to the business of any woman-as he was compelled to express annoyance towards my friend and another women spotted in his shop. With a old shop, flat out rudeness, and an underserving bedside manner, and with Joe-take your business to a fair priced customer friendly updated repair shop.

Great honest mechanic! Good price and trustworthy! The dealer wanted to charge me $1200 dollars for service. When I took my car to M&M, they said I only needed half of what the dealer said I needed!

Always take my cars to these guys, honest down to earth no frils and no BS. Won't try to upsell or do stuff you don't need. Great mechanics and reasonably priced.

Their HORRIBLE! They must have written their own reviews/ my truck is now making a horrible noise! He makes excuses for the mistakes that they've done Now I've gone to pep boys to fix the damage this company had done! Don't throw your money away here you will be totally scammed this place needs to be shut down immediately!!

This place is horrible! They must have made their own reviews because they messed my car up even worse! Kept it all day long and done nothing but make more problems just to bring me back! They charged 600.00 for labor on a simple brake job! I will never return someone Is going to sue them!

Wow these guys are good! Straightforward and make everything simple. Fair price no hassle. Don't bother taking your car elsewhere.
