When I brought my car in with a screw in the tire, I was told the only option was buying a full new set of tires due to my car being AWD. He never offered to remove the tire to see if it was repairable, and talked down to me as if I was stupid and not able to understand the need for AWD tires to be at the same tread level. I took the car to Benedetti tires, who took the tire off, discovered it was repairable, and explained that even if they had needed to replace the tire, they would wear down the tread to match the others. My cost was $34 that day, not over $1000 as suggested by Mr. Garcia. I would never go back to this location. Yes, I'm a woman, but I'm not stupid and am disgusted at a shop owner who would try and rip someone off so blatantly.

I ve come to Big O Tires before and been pleased with the service. This time, I came in for an oil change and the tech kindly recommended I call the dealer since my car was likely still under warranty for service. It was! He saved me $100. Great customer service!

I had a blown tire and went to Big-O Tires, expecting to replace all four. After the tire replacement, the rep, Javier Garcia, claimed my front brake pads were metal on metal, urging an immediate $500 service. I wanted a second opinion, and I happen to work for a tree company that has an amazing onsite mechanic. The next day I consulted my workplace mechanic who found the pads were fine. He said my brakes were absolutely no where near being metal on metal. Big-O Tires lied, attempting to overcharge and extort. As a trusting customer, their dishonesty is disappointing. Shame on Big-O Tires for unethical practices.

Shout out to Javier Garcia at Big O Tires in Sebastopol. He managed to order the specific tires I wanted, got them delivered, then had them mounted on my car, all within one work day! (Try doing that at Tire Pros or America's Tire.) Highly recommended.

I used to go here regularly but the customer service has become so horrible that I can t justify using them. They do a shoddy job, they recommend things that aren t needed, they are defensive and rude and they leave you on hold for 15+ minutes. I don t recommend them at all

Excellent job. I had a nail in my tire. Since I purchased the tires at Big O, they not only fixed the tire but rotated all 4 tires at no charge. I was back on the road in 20 minutes.

Was in & out pretty quick. Sales staff was friendly and helpful. The place was clean with a nice waiting room. Was disappointed to get home and realize I have to put full size spare back underneath vehicle myself.

Got tires and wheels from these guys. Kept my car for over a week just for a wheel installation. When I brought it back to have tires rotated, they gave my car back to me with missing lug nuts and didn t put two of the wheel spacers back. Didn t know this until I took my car into the shop for some repairs in regards to the steering wheel shaking about a month later. When I tried to see if big o could order the wheel spacers that they lost for me they completely blew me off. Wouldn t even order the lug nuts for me and kept saying they would get back to me. The manager is a complete jerk when I was nothing but patient and have spent over 2k here. Don t waste your time.

A Big NO.I recently had the unfortunate experience of Big O Tires in Sebastopol, and I must say, it was nothing short of dissatisfactory. From start to finish, the whole ordeal left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.Firstly, the customer service was abysmal. The staff, Javier, seemed disinterested and unhelpful, making me feel like I was inconveniencing them by simply walking through the door. It was as if I was invisible and my presence was a bother to them.Moving on to the actual service, it was an absolute nightmare. I brought my car in for a simple valve gasket replacement , and it took an absurd amount of time for them to complete the task. The lack of communication and transparency from the staff regarding the delay was incredibly frustrating.Lastly, the pricing at Big O Tires was exorbitant. I felt like I was being taken advantage of with their inflated prices for labor. It was clear that they were more interested in making money rather than providing a fair and reasonable cost for their services.Overall, my experience at Big O Tires in Sebastopol was nothing short of infuriating. The lackluster customer service, lengthy wait times, and overpriced services left a sour taste in my mouth. I would highly advise against anyone visiting this establishment if you value your time, money, and sanity. I was a repeat customer but now I will never go back.

I was in desperate need of a tire yesterday in Sebastopol. They helped me out, gave me a great price on a new tire fixed it in a jiff! They also gave me an estimate on getting my brakes done which was fairly priced vs. the other place in Sebastopol I checked out. So I might be back but will probably get them done locally. Their facility was very nice and the staff was very helpful. They have a good operation here and I liked it a lot. A great stop, shop and roll! (A service pun that was intended!)

Update Nov 22"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." I'm kinda embarrassed to admit that I went back there for service after prior experience, read below.I went in for oil change and brake fluid exchange, had a coupon and the price was better than the independent shop in town, so hey what could go wrong? 1) They had no shop report about what I needed, regrading brakes, etc. 2) Mechanic left a dirty rag on top of the battery, good thing I opened the hood - it could have dropped into the belts and caused a lot of damage. 3) The battery positive terminal had a ton of corrosion on it, nothing mentioned. 4) the oil filter had pool of wet oil on it. 5) I was told the engine air filter was dirty. Checked it, was fine. 6) Front two tires had very different air pressure. Did they check them?I talked to the owner and expressed my concern and, frankly, my upset. He had someone clean the battery and change the oil filter. He refunded my payment, thank you for that.Prior review: Brought in for a oil change, fine. Got a call from the service guy saying the ball joint was cracked, safety issue, $2200 to fix. Asked him to ask the mechanic who said it was only the grease boot that was cracked. What? He said there was a "communication issue." Went in, talked to mechanic, he showed me all four ball joints, a bit dry, not cracked at all, not a safety issue. Some other similar over-estimating for the timing belt (even though, in fairness, the service guy did match the estimate of another garage). Going to a new shop for the timing belt. We've had good service from this shop up to this point (years). Buyer: be diligent, informed and willing to shop around. This 1 star review is for this incident only, generally I'd give 4 stars.

Dropped off my truck to be aligned after doing a leveling kit on it and they claimed they did it a couple months ago even though my regular mechanic (also who is a relative) said it still didn t look like they did it. Fast forward a couple months.. our truck is now shuddering so we took it into a dealership and we need NEW TIRES because they are cupping I m kissed that I paid for an alignment and it didn t even happen and now I have to pay for new tires that were still perfectly fine!

I wish I could give these thieves -1000. I just had my oil changed and was told that I had a $1200 repair which was very drastically needed because it had to do with the oil filter. I could damage the engine severely if I didn t do it right away.Fortunately I always get second opinions. I went to a very highly rated mechanic in the area. He said there was absolutely NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING wrong.Unfrigging believable. I m going to contact corporate and complain. This has cost me cost me so much distress.On top of it all they said I need a new tires because the tires were worn out. I bought the tires from them 15,000 miles ago. I have done all the proper things like rotating the tires and getting alignments, etc, that they recommend and the friggin tires lasted 15,000 miles. Corporate thievery.They saw a dumb woman coming and they socked it to me. Be aware.

Went in to get a tire patched. The associate didn t even inspect the tire he just put a gauge on it and told me they were too thin to patch and I had to buy 4 new tires. The tires are 1 year old. I went down the street to Kalembas and they patched it no questions asked. Don t let them swindle you.

I rely on Big O Tires in Sebastopol for my complete vehicle care and maintenance needs and they go beyond what a typical tire shop provides. I ve consistently had excellent and professional services and experiences with these guys. Their services are timely and cost effective. Ask for Gavin or Troy, they ll meet you with friendly professionalism and get your car maintained promptly and professionally. They use information technology really well and go beyond what may be considered what a tire shop offers in every way. I and my car are really happy with Big O Sebastopol. We could all benefit from a Big O Easily 5+ stars.

Came in at 1pm to get a tire rotation and alignment. Tech stripped the lug nut and we're sitting here waiting on a replacement part to fix their mess up. Time is now 4:20pm . Not very pleased with their service.

A terrible experience and I won't be returning. I made an appointment online based on a quote for a set of tires that turned out to be out of stock. (A voicemail had been left for me advising this, but I'm in a remote, rural location, so I didn't receive it until after the fact.) As an alternative, I opted to go for Big O Legacy Tour Plus tires that were in stock partly based on being told they had a warranted 60k mile tread life. It turns out the tread life warranty is only 50k miles. What's more the tech entered the odometer reading on the paperwork as 42,565 when it was in fact 60,567, which will cloud the warranty even more. I subsequently phoned to get that amended, but who knows. In addition, I requested that a failed TPMS be replaced, but that was apparently ignored. Despite the fact I drove in with the low tire pressure warning illuminated on the dash, and drove away with it still illuminated, the paperwork showed the light as being off both incoming and outgoing. My bad for not dealing with this on the spot, but I needed to get on the road at that point. I was a long time, satisfied customer at another Big O location until I moved last year which makes this experience even more surprising and disappointing.

My last trip here was not the best after receiving a rude comment from one of the employees but I decided to give it another shot and took my car for an alignment. I'm happy I did, the customer service was excellent! The employees were really nice and they completed the job within the time estimated. The 4 stars is more based on price. It's a little more expensive than other service providers but my fault for not comparing prices.

My daughter and I dropped her Highlander to Sebastopol Big O for an oil change and alignment and later that day I got a call saying that the rear shocks were leaking. They gave me a price of $630 to replace them which seemed very high so I said not to do it. I just removed both rear shocks to discover no leaks and both were in perfect working order. I've been going there for at least 30 years and have purchased all of my tires there however I will never, ever go there again. I think the shock scam is not uncommon but they should know to squirt some oil on them. I'll do whatever I can to keep friends from going there.

I happened to drive over a piece of metal in the road causing my tire to go flat. Since I still had a fairly new set of tires from Costco, the staff here kindly offered to change to my spare so I could get to Costco safely. They also didn t charge me for the service. I wish I had gotten the names of the kind guys who helped me out, but they sure went above and beyond.Thank you to all the kind employees who provided excellent not yet a customer service!

Needed new tires, and just randomly stopped in this place. The staff was super friendly and showed me all the options and prices for tires. Had previously tried to get tires at Firestone in Santa Rosa, but the staff there was unfriendly and seemed too busy to bother. I highly recommend this place, will definitely be coming back here to get shocks and suspension work on the Chevy. They do good work, and there are plenty of places to hang out while getting the car serviced.

I was very impressed by Edward, the owner. He was very good at explaining the options and gave practical advice about what my car needed and didn't need to get me back on the road safely. He graciously gave me a ride to and from Ives Pool while my car was being worked on. I appreciate the positive experience and wish them good luck in building their business.

I've been going to this shop for 4 years and always am treated respectfully and feel confident in the work the staff have done on my Jeep! I had an issue once and the owner came to my home, had my vehicle towed, and got me back on the road quickly! Great service- support Edward and this business!

Awesome experience! We are on a road trip and headed home... ended up needing an emergency set of tires. We were taken in without an appointment and they immediately started working on our car! Thank you Big O Tires in Sebastopol Ca!
