Wes and Matthew from the service department outstanding at what they do. My experience has always been professional and diplomatic through a tough issues and regular maintenance with my Volvo. They understood various situations they have understood my vehicle. I've been treated well and I feel great about the my v60s longevity at their shop. After being a person who worked on my own vehicle for yearsworking with a dealership on maintenance was a bit daunting but I have been taking my vehicle in since I bought it in 2017 and at 100,000 I can say it has all been amazing. Buy a car from them get it services from them 5/5

I rely on my service representatives, Matt and Wes, totally In evaluating the needs of my 2012 Volvo. I trust them and appreciate them in their due diligence and very happy with how my Volvo drives like new. It matters to have real caring people you trust to do business year after year.

Volvo at Monterey Bay saved my long weekend vacation. Me and my family traveling from LA to Monterey Bay, just right before we reached our destination, we got targeted and tired got stabbed at Salinas, CA. We tow the car to Volvo dealer at Monterey Bay. It's Saturday morning. Laura Salusky at service dept. helped me. Unfortunately, the dealer did not have my tire at the moment. And they cannot place an order during the weekend. Which means I have to wait until Monday to place an order and the tire won't be delivered until Tuesday. Laura could have just leaving me there, desperate and frustrated. Yet, she helped me to google all the nearby tire shop, open or close during the weekend. Together we called more than a dozen shop, none of them have my tire. However, we did finally find a tire shop that is willing to place an order for me right the way, and it will be delivered on Monday morning, which is the last day of our vacation. She also helped me to search nearby car rental company and made sure that there're cars available, so I won't be running around for nothing. Then she called Left for me to the rental place and it was complimentary service from Volvo. I am so grateful to meet her and her smile really calm me down. I really appreciate everything that she did for me. She really could have just said, sorry, you have to wait until Tuesday. But she didn't. Her outstanding custom service wins my heart. I hope everyone sees this comment and ask for her whenever you need a service in Monterey Bay.

I gave Volvo Cars Monterey a try after I took my Volvo for a service at Autonation Volvo San Jose. I was disappointed with Autonation bec as soon as I got home from the service, I got all sorts of warnings like windshield fluid low and tire pressure warnings. I even found a connection unplugged (by the left side of you foot when you drive). I took my Volvo to Volvo Cars Monterey a week after my service at Autonation bec the warning for service coolant came out. The service is so much better, they fixed whatever Autonation neglected and not only did they gave my car a wash, they even applied tire shiner and vacuumed the flooring. It s been a week since and no warnings have come on from the console. It s an additional 15 min more time to get there from where I live but it s worth it. Just a warning for those unfamiliar with their location, they do not come out to greet you in your vehicle. You have to go inside and their reception area is a bit small so it might turn you off. It wasn t that busy when I got there but some sort of numbered ticket should be available to avoid queuing as there isn t a lot of space inside to do so.

Full of lies from the get go. I m so glad that monkey Adrian got fired. And hopefully the sales manager is gone too. I think my work here is done Who sells a car and then doesn t let you drive it home for a week?? At least tell me first. All our cars are safety inspected and approved . Then buys it sorry we have to change the brakes and windshield lol whattt. Why d you let me test drive it then. Never again.

Cameron was amazing, and this was honestly the easiest car buying experience we ve ever had. Cameron normally works the Jaguar/Range Rover side of the dealership, but his counterpart had just gone to lunch so he was quick to jump in and tell us all about the Volvos we were eyeing. He had a ton of knowledge about the different models, and made us feel safe in our first test drive experience with Pilot Assist and the car driving itself. Thank you, Cameron, for everything!

Had a very pleasant experience with Mark looking at a new Volvo. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Not pushy at all which we appreciated. He gave us a nice tour and introduced us to the GM. We loved the XC40 and will be back! Thank you!

Service got me in quickly, diagnosed the problem, luckily had a hard to get part in stock, and got the job done that day while a driver dropped me off and picked me up from my favorite restaurant (I m from the Santa Cruz area) and best of all, Matt in Service was amazing!

Very happy with Volvo Monterey. I wound up purchasing a Volvo XC90 and was taking my time and Adrian was very patient and understanding without any pressure. I purchased the car today and am very happy with the excellent service I received from Adrian and Julie in finance. I drove over two hours and they met all my expectations and honored the price they quoted for my trade in. I could not be happier. Highly recommend this dealer.

We purchased an XC40 recharge from Bill. The entire process was painless. We we're able to fill out our paperwork online before delivery. We took delivery on a Monday, and immediately upon arrival went into finance and took care of the paperwork, hopped into the car, and drove away. It probably took less than one hour at the dealership. This was a huge difference from the Honda dealership we recently took delivery of a CRV from, for which we spent the better part of an entire day waiting around.

Great experience recently with Trevor in Parts Dept!! I have had the opportunity once prior to have Laura assist me in Service dept and she was excellent too, but recently Trevor went above and beyond to help my family while I was out of town and made sure my Volvo got to the dealership, got two tires replaced, and was there to give my wife the keys Saturday when she could get there to pick it up. My wife was stranded car-less at home with our infant child and I was out of town with our other car. Trevor handled helping me with the tow, tire change and returning the car all same day knowing this was rather urgent. Cannot thank him enough, THANK YOU TREVOR!!

BEWARE: SHADYAfter spending hours negotiating a used vehicle they (adrian) still sold it to us WAY over market value. After everything said and done they said "oh btw we have to keep it for a few days to fix the windshield and tires and change the oil". Keep in mind i asked before "are the cars inspected before" ("Oh yes they go through a lot of inspections").. but after signing the papers they wanted to bring this up and not let us drive off with the car... The tires were new already, the oil life at 90%, windshield was fine.. They would NOT let us drive off with the car.. i confronted them and they said "sorry the tires and oil are already off the vehicle" (6pm when already closed so no they didnt even do anything yet liars). The asian man was about to lose a sale because his TINY little ego was in the way and even threatened to cancel the sale because i wanted the car now... 5 days later they FINALLY let us come pick the car up.. WITH a CRACKED windshield... How long does it take to change tires and oil if supposedly they were already off the car at the time of us buying it (30 mins after we test drove it) DONT EVER come here for a used or new car..they were extremely rude and unprofessional i would NEVER come here again. PLEASE do yourself a favor and stay away.. i PROMISE there is other dealers around. Thanks.

Stopped by on August 11th around 10:30 am and was seriously looking to buy a car that day. A old man came out and rudely asked what I was looking for. I explained what I was looking for and inquired about my trade in. As he picked out some nasty yellow ear wax out of his ear and flicked it towards me, he said rudely with a disgusted look on his face something about my trade in that he couldn t give blind estimates for trade ins. I was literally trying to explain to him what car I had and that it was in excellent condition and I would have brought it in of course before they gave us a quote for it. But, he would NOT let me explain. By this time I was so disgusted by his demeanor and attitude I just said forget it. I ended up buying a used $40,000 car later that day. So, the owners of this business lost out on a sale and any future business from a long time local resident. All due to having poor communication skills. I hope this review is helpful for the consumers as well as the business. TREAT PEOPLE LIKE YOU WANT TO BE TREATED!

Dropped off my XC60 T5 for service for a common problem were the car doesn't shift out of park and that was supposedly not a recall item then was told it was a recall item? Had the seat belt recall completed also at the same time. Service people were nice but I picked up my vehicle all covered in dust and all dirty. This dealership used to give my car a wash before pick up. I guess their service has changed.

Great dealership service.Adam, my sales rep was not pushy and very knowledgeable.Most importantly, they said yes or no right away with pricing negotiations and do not have you playing chicken with them over a multi-week period. They gave a price for my XC90 lower than anyone in the Bay Area so it was well worth the drive.

I would unconditionally recommend Matt and the Service team at Seaside.After a terrible experience with San Jose Volvo, I considered selling my Volvo! Matt and his technicians took the time to listen to my issues and try to resolve them.

If I could give this dealership a minus star rating I would. From the owner down to the automotive department, they simply don't care. Phone calls are never returned, items promised are never delivered We ordered a Volvo through the overseas delivery program and the whole transaction on the local side was very disappointing. Volvo is amazing in what they offer but this dealer does not deliver .Just recently we tried to get a update to our navigation system, something Volvo offers. This dealer flatly refused to help us get what we were supposed to get. Lies abound (i.e.) I will get back to you , We will look into it , etc. ) Bottom line , this dealer has virtually no interest in providing service. We will not be back.

Very helpful. Accommodating to my dog while we were shopping. Allowed us to park on their lot to provide shade for the animal during our test drives. We are pre-ordering a car with them and they have been really great though this process. Davin, new to the dealership and to the Brand has been excellent, attentive, and all in to provide great service.

Janet and I had a great experience with Volvo Monterey. We stopped into look at the XC90 and XC60 Hybrid. Mark was very helpful in sharing the information about both vehicles. We test drove them both and decided to buy a 2018 XC90 T6. Volvo Monterey is the "Best Dealership" I have ever worked with, not pushy and was there with every answer that was needed. I recommend Volvo Monterey to the world. Stop by, you won't be disappointed. Love my new XC90, drives like a dream!!!

I scheduled a recall service for my Volvo V60 door latch problem on a specific date. I called the day before and Volvo Monterey had nothing on their schedule!! Poor coordination on their part!! Service had no idea I was dropped from the schedule and never called me to confirm.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VOLVO HERE!!WES IN SERVICE DOES NOT HELP HE ONLY CREATES MORE PROBLEMS AND WANTS YOUR MONEY!!!The service team does not care about you or what they do to your car!I took my volvo S80 to get rekeyed... after $330 dollars all I got was 1 key. I wanted the key fob but they couldn't program the key fob and wanted me to pay another $150 to see why they couldn't program the fob... AND then pay another $150 to get the fob. I didn't pay that. I got my Volvo back and now have all these electrical issues. My battery has to be jumped all the time. I'm left stranded in parking lots whenever my car decides to not start. As a 26 year old FEMALE it's a safety concern. Furthermore, my car alarm and hazard lights turn on and off as they please. Sometimes I'm driving and my car alarm goes off. Sometimes I'm in my house and get a call from my neighbor that my hazard lights are on... AND/OR that my alarm is going off. When I went back to WES to see what he could do to fix this problem... He said if I pay $150 he could do a diagnostic test and then he could see if there was a problem and we could go from there... WHY WOULD I PAY $150 WHEN YOU DID THIS TO MY CAR?????WES refused to help or correct his errors. He basically told me it was my car to deal with now and reccommended other volvo places I could take my car to...When I brought my car to Volvo I didn't have ANY issues with my battery/hazard lights/alarm.Thank you for ruining my car Wes in service at Volvo Monterey.I will never go back there and I will tell anyone and everyone to not bring their car here because Wes and the service team are only going to cause you more issues and cost you more money.
