RE: Order # 147151212In April, '23, I ordered two vent window gears, a left and a right, for a '66 Grand Prix. I paid through PayPal.I noted to hold shipment until left was available (2 weeks), to get free shipping. After 4 weeks, I emailed for status, 2 more weeks. They do respond to e-mails, but calling is a waste of time. (4 or 5 attempts over the past year.)And the feature of "If you would like the next rep to call you back" is apparently an inside joke.They never do.10 months later (early Feb., '24) , I found the left one at a competitor, albeit higher price. I waited over an hour to tell them to release the right side to ship and cancel and refund the left side.I was told PP takes a while to refund, maybe 2 weeks, whatever.On 3/1/2024, I still had no refund.On 3/20, I waited hour on hold, to get a lame apology and be told that they will get right on that.Still no refund.Backorders are one thing.Lack of detail to customer service is another.Caveat emptor!

Called to inquire about refund due to late estimated delivery time. Customer Service is unprofessional. No greetings, bad attitude. Won't be going to that seal beach location store ever again. My experience was horrible.

Do not buy anything here. I ordered on 8/22/23. Still haven't had any parts come in. Backordered. They do not answer their phone or call you back. They do not respond to emails. Customer service is the worst I've ever seen. When I finally did get someone to answer the phone I cancelled my order.

I ve been calling all morning to try and get an order and see if they would have them in stock but no answer and I even wanted them to call me back and still nothing. This isn t good customer service at all.

I ordered a tie rod from this company 4 weeks ago and it finally arrived only to open the box and realize they sent me the wrong part I am never ordering from this company again

OPGI has been my source for classic GM parts for years. My boyfriend has been coming here for around 10 years for his car, and me personally about 3. I was really happy with my last visit, the staff (shout-out to Dave and Jeff) were super helpful. Dave went through all of my requests with me and was extremely patient as I kept adding things on. Jeff is just awesome. The warehouse crew really did a good job this time too, as prompt as possible and even had to assemble some things for me. They got it all taken care of in record time and loaded up for me. OPG is always a fun place to visit to drool over parts and the super cool cars they have, but it's also a fantastic resource. Even in today's climate barely anything that I needed was out of stock. I hope the rest comes in soon, because with all these parts I bought I'm dying to get my car back together asap!!

Horrible place, parts are always on back order, online catalogs are never updated to inform customers of whats in stock and whats not until they have your $, this place sucks balls

I m not used to writing reviews. I will say this I have a 1984 Monte Carlo super sport. I ordered the headliner blue for a 1984 Monte Carlo super sport checked it twice when it went to cart took a picture of it put in my information and sent my payment. I got a receipt in my email stating that my buckskin headliner for my Oldsmobile 442. Should be there in I don t have a buckskin interior 442 Oldsmobile I have a white Monte Carlo super sport with blue interior and no T tops. Long story short I wasn t happy. I wrote a review that I wasn t happy but I do have to say original auto parts contacted me I didn t have to contact them and they made it all right sent me a return label and refunded my money quickly and probably not sure how to review the parts department but as far as it goes with the customer service as for myself, they were on top of it and as a customer, I felt they looked out for my best interest. I do understand mistakes happen so as far as my experience goes, the company did the right thing and handled it the right way.

I was here for a will call pick up. Very helpful employee I didn t get his name but he said he does the opgi YouTube videos. Car guys are either really cool and helpful or bitter crusty pos s lucky for me and him he was cool.

Dennis assisted us and was amazing. 20 out of 10 customer care prices was right and availability of stock. Went in For an antenna and walked out 500 lighter with a new grill and still plates for my regal will be back

Awsome place, if you are a car guy you will love this place. Lots of chrome, a beautiful Chevelle, SS 454. Who doesn't like that. Even my 6 yr old Grandson had a great time...

Ordered a part that was labeled in stock and ready to ship. 4 days later gwet an email that shipping was delayed.. okay that happens another few days go by get notification the part was backordered. After having emails not returned and a few phone calls I find out they haven't had the part since November.. just horrible customer service throughout and trying to get ahold of anyone is near impossible. Still waiting for my rewards points to be reinstated. Order number 146645613, I ended up having to cancel it.

They accepted payment for a product that they didn't even have and said it could be 6 months or even a year before They could even get that part In... but they took the money and i'm still waiting to get my money back from them.....Edit it to add..... The only reason that I ordered right away is because I got an email that said limited stock available when I ordered the part.... Which I have proof of.... There was nowhere that it said "available soon" As you claim.... Had that been the case I would have called Before ordering....Also it's been over 10 days and I still don't have my refund... Paypal has no records of you trying refunding me as of yesterday when I spoke with them.....

Yes the variety of parts is good. But the customer service is nothing more than a joke. No replies to a part I ordered where I was send a wrong item. The expert chat is a joke, it seems it s just a computer replying. Especially for overseas customers like me it s a pain to get in contact after paying a ton for shipping + taxes and so on for a thing I never ordered. Emails never get an answer. I will order my parts elsewhere where I actually have people sharing the love for old cars and service who is interested in helping me. You guys should really pay attention to your customers. Reading through Facebook groups it s clear to see that I m not the only one complaining about the customer service. OPGI? No thanks.

I advise everyone to be aware of this company as well! Don t let the fancy website fool you, they have very bad customer service! Because they don t care about the customers. I had to file a report with the Better Business Bureau because I still haven t received a refund on a damaged product they sent me!! it s been 30 days already, they try to keep my money and ignore me but I m not giving up!

What a waste of time, had to drive down to store because no one answers the phone once you are transfers to sales. When I arrived store not busy at all. Shows item is available online but when I got there they didn t have it, not till November? It s June? Horrible experience!

Poor Service. Poor Management.Ordered floors pans for my skylark a week ago. 7 to 10 business days. Called customer service and was hung up on 3 times. i demanded to speak to a manager. Poor clerk was trying so hard to reach supposedly. This is type of poor service should not be tolerated. No manager in they right mind should have such incompetence as a standard.

Ordered a rear deck, got the ship date, paid, I'm good.... not exactly.Waited for my part, only received the Insulation that goes beneath. Forgot about the part for a whole month, still didn't receive the rest.Upon reaching out, I was rudely told that I would not get my part for two more months at minimum. They blamed it on the manufacturer, but I couldn't understand why no one reached out or why they treated me like I annoyed them for asking.The rep continued a terrible customer service job and was confrontational versus making me feel valued. I asked for a refund and I'll never use OPGI again!Parts aren't always easy to find, but I'd pay more and go further for better customer service.

I walked in parts for a return on January 3rd and still haven't received my refund, most of the partsI needed were on backorder they once were my go to for parts but all that has changed OPGI has just become my last resort.

Ordered my part back in March of this year and week after week, month after month I keep receiving emails stating my order has been pushed out yet again. I did not know a visor would take almost 6months and counting when the entire world is almost at 90% back to normal life. In addition one rep stated she did not have the part in stock when her system showed it did via website, then another rep stated he had one left. Who does the hiring here is the question. Is this the new nor of customer service not knowing how to look into their system and communicate with customers? OPGI and SS396 are absolutely horrible in customer service and their reps not knowing anything about vehicles.

Company could not deliver an order product on time. I realized this was a back ordered item after I had paid for the entire kit plus the tank, and oversized shipping. The tank was removed from the order before the order was shipped and I was told I would get a refund for the tank and oversized shipping charges. To date almost a month later still nothing and now they don t return calls. They are about to end up on blast across all of our social media accounts and car groups. A few hundred thousand people will see it within 24 hours and spread it from there. Sick of the delays on giving me my refund.

Update: While my original review was 1 star because of ability to just get through to place an order and the order was not correct, price matching request also delayed the order. In addition to the OPGI delay, FedEx "lost" the package. The reason I have updated it to 3 stars is because the Customer Service Manager personally got involved, personally pulled the parts and reshipped the parts next day air....Thank you Raymond!

I have ordered over $5000 in parts I had to wait 4 months to get my bumper, over a month for several other items and if u call them you will wait for over an hour for them to answer. Covid is NOT the problem..they just refuse to hire enough quality people to provide any level of service. They will continually change the estimated availability date.
