Ben's Seal Beach Auto Repair recommendation. I had the top radiator hose connection break. I checked online for parts costs and labor costs to see if I was going to replace it myself. After looking at a YouTube how-to I decided to take it to a mechanic.I thought I'd give the new mechanic at the Chevron gas station near me in College Park East, a try. (It's important to note, they are not the same as the old ones from a couple years back. The old ones tried to rip me off recommending an unneeded repair after I got a smog check.)I went there late morning and asked for a quote. The quote I was given was dead on what I expected, and far lower than the auto dealer would charge. I stated I would like to proceed with the repair and offered to put down a deposit so he could order the parts. He said no need for a deposit. He ordered the parts and called me within 1 1/2 hours. I took my car in at 2 PM the same day and had it back by 4 PM. Everything has been working great.They let me know about a small oil leak but did not pressure me to get it repaired. They were friendly and clearly experienced mechanics. At his point I would definitely recommend them.

Absolutely fantastic service! Returned my phone call minutes after calling them and friendly service all the way through!Smog Check was quick and easy, I was out of there in ten minutes. Shoutout to John who did the work for me, he was especially friendly and kind all the way through. If you need a quick and easy smog check at a reasonable price, look no further! I made an appointment for an oil change and service, and Ben took me right on time. The service was quick and thorough. Good value, also. I like to support local businesses and encourage our Seal Beach neighborhood to use Ben s Auto Service.
