The name of this place should be Automotive Excellence and Honesty. I started coming here about 2 years ago after another shop told me I needed a full brake job, and Automotive Excellence told me in fact I did not. Almost 2 years later is when I finally did need my brakes done. A year ago I had to call triple A for my mom whose car wouldn t start, and these guys came out w a tow truck. Me and mom thought it might be time for a new battery, but the tow truck driver jumped her car, recommended it run for awhile and he didn t think it needed a new battery. He was right. It s really a good feeling to know they aren t trying to upsell or lie about what needs to be done with my car. Especially going in there as a female without a male presence. There have been so many car places in my past that thought they would try to take money out of my pocket for no reason. These guys talk to me and treat me like their daughter and sister. I m very fortunate to have found them. Thank you Andrew, Luis, and everyone for making things basically effortless. Love this place!

You should tell your driver that cutting people off at red lights and brake checking them is against the law. Really stupid to do with a customer's car on the bed too. Who gave him permission to drive? He almost hit my vehicle because he wanted to be in front of me and stopped short forcing me to hit my brakes while I was coming up to a red light. He is not a safe driver. He cut over solid lines to cut me off. I have him recorded on my dash cam if he wants to argue.

Exceptional Service with reasonable pricing. Peter went out if his way to make sure that my vehicle was finished with the highest quality and made it available during a difficult personal time. Their new extended service area is effective and easy to use.

I called AAA due to a flat tire they sent a tech & pumped it up. I figured I try them since they are blocks from me & I ve had issues with my service center lately. The plugged my tire & noticed a bubble in another the dealership had missed just the day before. I got a good price on tires and they were able to replace them quickly. Their customer service is amazing, their service staff are very informative and clear with issues, options etc. I highly recommend & will be back for sure.

I had a great experience at automotive excellence! They did a diesel oil change on my jeep grand Cherokee for a very reasonable price. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable as well

We were very happy as usual with quality of work and customer service. So relieved to be able to get our car in for service on the weekend, especially with festivities on Saturday. Our experience at Automotive Excellence has been superb and we trust them with our vehicles.

Took car in for 90k service, nicely did not try to upsell, serviced and repaired only what was needed. Very personable service, answered questions in detail that I had about my tires and yet did not try to sell me any before they re time as a prior tire chain had. I now have more knowledge about tires. They are very busy and popular, yet take the time to speak with you and answer questions.I highly recommend Automotive Excellence.

I was very happy with the service I received at Automotive Excellence. I requested a check of fluids, filters, tires and brakes; and replacement or adjusting as needed. I got a full report of their findings and what was done. No upsale or push to have other work done. I will recommend this business to others.

This shop, Automotive Excellence, is very close to my home. I drive there and walk home while the work is being done. They have only done oil changes and regular service work for me until I had them also service my AC system. Now my AC blows ice cold again!

I got a flat tire and it could not be repaired because it had a giant bubble on the inside of the tire and the tire had had a plug that was no longer holding, they actually had my tire in stock and were able to get the tire installed within 15 minutes on short notice the manager was very friendly and helpful so I give them a five-star review

Fantastic service. Tracked if under warrantee! To saving money. Including great rates car rental and loaner cars if available. Will only use Automotive Excellence now..wouldn't think of going anywhere else for my automobile. James

Always go to Automotive Excellance because they are reliable, trustworthy, competent and courteous. When I had a delivery at my house and my car was still on the rack, Peter loaned me a car to be their for delivery and drive back for my car. Tire balance is perfect. Thanks to installer and mechanic!

I ve been coming to Automotive Excellence for about 4 years now, and I ll continue to ,why? Let me tell you, moving from Whittier to Belmont Shores I needed to find a new trustworthy knowledgeable shop.. that s not easy. I was lucky to find this shop. I drive allot of miles, my car was coming up on 100k so I needed to make sure it would last another 100k. I m going on 170k and running like a champ! I recently moved out of the area bout 30 miles away. Tried to find another shop in my area no luck. I m returning customer of Automotive Excellence. If you re in need of a trustworthy shop that gets it done right, come here. Teams great, they have fair market value pricing. Better than the dealer quality.Service: General repairs & maintenance

It s great to have the new shop so close to my home. I was able to walk back to old town when dropping off my car. Peter is first class in customer service and the renovations on the facility have improved the entire neighborhood!

I participated in a recent 5k running event where Automotive Excellence was involved. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by discrimination. Participants who were not white, including myself, were refused hats and even faced deliberate obstruction when attempting to obtain one during the event. This behavior, particularly during a community event meant for inclusivity and camaraderie, is appalling. Discrimination has no place in any setting, and it's disheartening to encounter such actions from a business involved in the event. I hope Automotive Excellence addresses this issue promptly and takes steps to ensure such incidents do not occur in the future

This place was really helpful great conduct they let me barrow a wrench for my flat tire on my bicycle these folks rock , totally would come here in my truck if I had a screw in my tire .

I m big on customer service and everyone was very helpful whenever asked a question. Made suggestions on other minor fixes, without pressing and upselling beyond what I brought my car in for. Finally, the fixes made to the car were exactly what I hoped for, up and running again with no problem. First time taking my car in here and they have immediately earned my trust and confidence they will get the job done at a fair price.

We have been taking our cars to Automotive Excellence since moving from New Jersey to SoCal in 2009. Andrew and Pete are both very good at diagnosing problems, as well as providing recommendations with options if they exist. It s great to be able to trust that only necessary work is done and at a fair and reasonable price.My only complaint is that the word has spread about them so much, that they re often booked up two or three days out testimony as to what an incredible service business they have built.Services: Electrical repair, Brakes

I appreciate the work you did in replacing the alternator. There are a couple of things that surprised me however. My key broke the same day as the alternator and though I did not ask, I had hoped someone would be inventive and wrap it with electrical tape to hold it together until I get a new key. Also, I believe that was the first time I ve ever paid $800 for repairs and the vehicle would not start. Thankfully he jumped it and it has been fine but not a huge confidence boost.Thank you, Kirk

We were visiting from out of town and our battery died. We called to see if they had a battery and they came and changed it out for us within an hour! So grateful and thankful on the amazing service.
