I've been using this shop for many years now, our go-to mechanic. They are always honest, forthright, and highly competent. They are also usually very busy and charge full market rates, but I suppose those downsides are a natural result of being the best shop in the area, so I can't exactly fault them for that.

Matt and his team have taken excellent care of all our vehicles for over 16 years. Not only does Duncan Auto Tech provide reliable, quality repairs, but also gives their employees a good work life balance and labor equity. This is a shining star in Scotts Valley and the entire state.

I'm not one for leaving reviews but Matt and the team at Duncan's are great. I need a smog and Matt did it in the spot. I can in recently bc I couldn't find a part I need at the local auto shops and Matt went out of his way to find one. Thanks again Matt.

Matt has taken care of 3 of my cars for several years now. Trustworthy shops can be hard to find and Duncan Auto has always taken care of me.

We just got into town on vacation and our radiator blew out. He got us in the morning and done by afternoon so we could enjoy our vacation and explore the area.

Called to get info the clerk was disrespectful and insulting if how they do business is how they treat their perspective customer complete fail. The guy never gave me his name. I enquired about a check engine light and he told me that other places do it for free then wanted to charge me 100 for the same service got angry at me for pointing this out and hung up on me I wouldnt recommend this place to people I dislike. Completely unprofessional. Take your money and buisness some where that will treat you like a person .

This shop saved my bacon, today.After being turned away by two smog stations, yesterday because of a broken dashboard, the guys at Duncan Auto Tech unhesitatingly offered to do whatever they could to resolve the dashboard issue so I wouldn t have to submit an application to a referee in San Jose.I can t lose any more time from work. Needed to smog and register this truck in order to stay working. These guys had me in and out within 20 minutes. They knew what to look for and just got it done. The other shops wouldn t even try. One shop owner laughed, then, told me to Google for what to do next!ALL of my vehicle service will be going to Duncan Auto Tech going forward.

Matt and his crew are awesome. Takes a little while to get work done but its because they are consistently busy (which I'd say is a good thing.)

CEL on my Infinity G35 came on they diagnosed it and replaced the faulty exhaust sensor no complaints.
