The team at Import Auto Service has twice worked on my Forester and I will continue to patronize this great business. Shame on me for shopping around for quotes the second time around. They have the lowest pricing, do great work, and keep you informed every step of the way.

Came here to get my fluids done on my truck! Tim gave me a great deal and also had it done fast! They used OEM fluids aswell and treated my truck amazingly! They have a very relaxing lounge area and also some drinks and snacks! Great people and super clean workshop as well! Highly recommend Import Auto Service!

The previous owner of my car used Import so I did too. Plus they're close to my place. A perfect 10 score no fluffing. Top quality in every category of their profession. As long as I live in SD Import will have my business.

They did a great job on my timing chains and tensioner. Great communication and a great price. Would definitely recommend them. As for unforseen problems related to work preformed they will rectify the problem and if its a result of the work they performed like in my situation they will get everything in working order for the original agreed cost.

Brought in my wife's Smart Car with a blown PCV Valve. We live far away but after getting quotes all over the place from shops that didn't seemed like they'd worked on Smart Cars, this team really came through.Long story short, Tim runs a great shop and I recommend having them work on your vehicle, especially if it's a Smart Car.Good communication, good customer service, & fair labor hrs

BEST / LOWEST Cost Repair Shop for BMWs!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!Got 10+ quotes to replace a battery & Import Auto Service's price was 1/3 the price of the next lowest quote I received. They were really helpful explaining a few other things with my car, so I know what to keep an eye on. All the work was done quickly & properly. The waiting room is nice & clean (not that I care, but it was) & it's Air Conditioned, so be a comfortable place to wait around while you get your car worked on.Service: Battery

Top-notch service. Honest. Welcoming. Trust worthy. No price-gouging. Courteous. Clean and tidy office. A friend referred me to Import Auto Service and I'm so glad that she did. I was hesitant to take my BMW in for a repair, but Tim and crew fixed my car up and had me back on the road same day... and it didn't break me. I've never had a better automotive repair experience!!

Best mechanic experience ever!! As a young female, I don t like going to mechanics alone but this shop was so professional and kind. I go to Import Auto service every year for my vehicle inspection. The staff is great always getting my car in and out in a timely manner. The waiting room has a TV and is a pleasant place to wait. I have also brought my car in for tire rotations, oil change and to fix my tire when I have picked up a screw on the road. Each time the work is done quickly, well and for a very fair price. I highly recommend this Auto Service group to everyone.

I've trusted these mechanics for the last 4 to 6 years. They've always taken the time to explain to me the problem or problems! I had a Ford Explorer Sport and currently my second 2007 Clk 350 with Import Auto. They are always friendly, respectful and patient when it comes to explaining the issue and challenges with fixing the problem!I edited my comments realizing Import Auto had been working on my cars for a longer period and wanted to convey my trust with this shop! I highly reccomend this shop!

Friendly and price competitive full service auto repair station. I own a BMW 335i and have used Auto Import for repairs many times. There was a specific situation, a few months ago, in which all 6 of my fuel injectors needed replacement. Rather than charging me for the repair, Auto Import recommended that I first touch base with the BMW Dealership in Alexandria, and see if they would cover it under a "good faith" warranty. I called the dealership, and sure enough, the work was covered for free. Auto Import could have easily tried to sell me their services as an out-of-pocket expense for me, but instead, tried to save me money. It's this type of honesty that will have me returning to them for the foreseeable future. Side note: They also have an excellent detailer called Tim, who does the best job at making your car look new. Overall, very impressed.

They did a great job! I had to get a part ordered for my headlights, they let me know right away, and told me they'd call me when the part arrived (SAME DAY!). I've been to many auto repair services. Import auto service is the best. I feel right at home. Tim is very brillient in his knowledge. He finds the problem in no time. Every time I get work done, it is less expensive than anywhere else. What is most important to me, is that I can trust them. I know I will not be cheated, they are fair, and have given me advice to repair some things myself.If you want to go somewhere you can trust to do the right thing, and also do a great job. Jay is one of the mechanics, and is really knowledgeable. The owner and his wife are always friendly.I have recommended Import Auto to friends and family and I would never go anywhere else.

I went to get my Honda Accord serviced today at Import Auto. Chriss was very friendly and had great customer service. The staff was professional and trustworthy. He lended me a vehicle to use while my car was being repaired, which was AWESOME. The price he quoted me was outstanding. I will definitely be returning for future repairs. I highly recommend Import Auto Service to anyone that needs Auto repairs(:

They are the only people I trust in San Diego to work on my car. They re honest, friendly and don t try to up-sale you like other places do. I found these guys on Google. Randomly. Have a 2004 530i. Had some personal issues going on as well as mechanical. Most places would have seen my problem has a way to charge thousands!!! Chris and his partner are nothing less than outstanding!!! Honest!!! I used their loaner for a week, picked up my car today, problem solved, and at a (600.00) fraction of the price. I live in Eastlake, it's a little drive, but in the end, well worth it. These guys are now my go to guys. Seriously, avoid the dealerships and being railroaded. Try Import Auto Service!!

I've been having issues with my car (2001 325i) for the last few weeks. Read multiple forums and spent countless hours trying to figure out what it could be. Spent some money having a few other "technicians" inspect it but no luck, they just wanted more money to thoroughly check it out. Found Tim at Import Auto Service on google, today is a Saturday and he is usually only open on Saturdays by appointments. I was lucky enough that he let me swing by so he could scan my car. After scanning it and giving me the printed report and a lot of advice, he told me what the problem was. Went straight to the parts store and purchased the part and BAM! problem fixed. Tim is a very nice guy with a lot of knowledge and runs an awesome shop. I will definitely be recommending him to all my friends with import cars and will be returning for all my future needs including general maintenance.

When I go to what looks like a regular gas station and find one of the finest shops in Northern Virginia, THAT'S a good day. Excellent, prompt and professional service. Looking forward to going back and getting my breaks and AC done. I have been looking for this place and finally found it. Even though I have a 20 year old Pontiac, I decided to give them a try. Import Auto is the only place that I will let touch my 2007 S550!!!! Always professional, fast, honest & great prices! Imad (owner) & his team have made getting repairs & service on my car a pleasure. They always go above & beyond! I have been a customer since 2008 and will be with them forever! They scraped my fender and damaged the trim, then they overtightened every nut with a heavy impact gun. Hell changing the tire first then trying to change the axle and broke a breaker bar trying to get undone. Hurried work, lack of care. These guys are 1 of 3 certified Land Rover mechanics in San Diego -and I've been to all 3. But I wouldn't take my Land Rover to anyone else! It feels good to have a great mechanic I can trust. I highly recommend this shop with any vehicle!

Not even half a star worthy. This want to be "Import" auto shop is a horrible place to take any car especially German cars. I had to take my car back in 3 times for them to tell me that they don't know what's wrong and to take it somewhere else. They charged me for labor and a starter that was not the issue. They also tried to tell me that they installed a new gas pump ( at no cost). All the times that I left with my car it gave me the same problem that it had when I took it in. I took it to the dealership and the issue was with a fuel injector that was spitting too much gas. Turned out that because of Import Auto Sercvice lack of knowledge I ended up paying $4,000.00 when it was an easy $400 job. TAKE YOUR IMPORT CARS TO THE DEALERSHIP. You know you are getting what you're paying for
