My check-engine-light came on yesterday so I brought it to Firestone and they did a complementary OBD scan and I got the code. I was hoping to have my car available to drive in two days because I was going to drive others on a long car ride. I checked out this Honda service center, saw the great reviews about Steve, and brought it in first thing in the morning at 7am. I met Steve who was personable, friendly, and clear. He let me know that they could be able to have the car looked at soon, the cost of the diagnosis ($190), and that the cost could go towards any necessary repairs. After leaving my keys I had some of the delicious complementary coffee machine and left to go to work. Steve and I called a few hours later and he let me know that their technician did scans and tests and drove the car and didn't find any issues but recommended a coolant replacement if the light came up in the future. He explained that the cost of the replacement would be about $200 but he would half the price of the diagnostic to $90 to be about $300 total, saving me $100. I was confused because I thought the $190 diagnostic fee would go towards the $200 repair so that I would only pay $10 extra, but that wasn't the case. When I went in later, Steve apologized for the confusion and reduced the $190 diagnostic fee which I appreciated. He answered some more questions I had with helpful explanations. At the end when I was to sign my signature and pay, I asked for time to read the fine-print because I try to be careful with what I sign, and I think I held-up his work but he let me have time to read it and sign. The diagnostic report he gave me included a helpful photo of a power-steering leak I didn't know I had and also a Carfax report containing history about my car which I didn't know about.

Excellent customer service and repair work done on my Honda.I brought my Honda in for warranty service/repair and to check on any recall notifications. Moose provided the best customer service and I was very pleased with his follow up and communication. This is the kind of customer service every company should strive for. I'm so happy to have a certified Honda Service Center in Santee! No more waking up at 5am to get in line at the dealership for warranty service.

Steve is extremely friendly and professional. They followed my instructions to the letter. The estimate for repair is lower than shops not affiliated with Honda. I'm impressed all the way around! This is my new mechanic!!

Honda Service Center of SantEe was the most fun I've ever had while waiting for automotive work to be completed. The experience started and ended with Steve, who was a great ambassador for Honda. The waiting room was spacious, bright, & comfortable, and there was a novel selection of complimentary beverages and snacks, including an automatic latte-making machine. Their mechanics took equally good care of the car, too; it is running perfectly since my visit. Honda Service Center of Santee is a trustworthy service provider, and I'm looking forward to my next visit to them. :)Services: Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

I went Honda Servive Center of Santee for the first time for oil change this morning. They are polite and professional. I'm impressed with the staff named Bud, who is a humorous and professional technician. He change the oil and check the tires only within 45 minutes and text me a message when my vehicle is ready to go. A wonderful experience.

I had a plastic cover hanging off the bottom of the engine compartment. Honda Service got me right away and fixed the problem and recommended some overdue service. They were polite, friendly and efficient. Moose and his time did a great job!!! I purchased a 2023 Honda civic and from the beginning I noticed 1 passenger side speaker issues sounded muffled and rattling. Took in at Honda Santee and was assisted by Bud. After 1st visit Bud assured me nothing wrong and stated his technician was the best. When vehicle was returned I noticed the same issue so I booked a 2nd visit for the same issue and the technician inspected the vehicle with me and noticed the problem. After 2nd visit. The technician stated that had to remove door panel and realign the speaker and the panel to address the issue and it seems to go away. Then Mr. Bud stated in order to replace the parts the supervisor needs to approve the work order and submit to manufacturer which is a long process. In my 3rd visit I needed to conduct the service A on my new civic and attempted to address my speaker issue. After receiving my vehicle. My speaker issue was not addressed and Mr. Bud stated they looked in to it for a few minutes and did not find any issues. Wanted me to show the technician again physically. I advise Mr. Bud that his highly praised technician already witnessed the issue on the 2nd visit and acknowledged my concern. Mr. Bud stated this vehicle 1 speaker is not designed to handle music. At that point a realized Mr Bud had no intention of fixing my issue and recommended to make a 4th appointment to address my problem because he was very busy to help me that same day. I advised Mr. Bud not too worry and that I will take my vehicle to the dealership for further assistance.

My brakes weren't performing like I though they should so I made an appointment for this place to have a look. Bud was the advisor to help me and it was very easy and pleasant. Bud took my information and I left the car. Bud texted me throughout the process and I really like how they use technology to keep you informed as well as documenting what needs to be done and the estimated cost. They had my car completed by early afternoon and Bud was very helpful taking care of it. I would definitely come back for more service.UPDATE 12/17....Brought my car in for a oil change and tire rotation. I'm very happy with my service and with Bud. I stayed in the lounge, had coffee and a donut and after a little over an hour, my car was done. Great experience here! Staff both Moose and Vangie were amazing. Very detailed and thorough on what was going to happen. Great eta on the time it was going to take. Very nice experience from walking in the door. Moose my service writer was very personal and efficient . After receiving a text regarding other service recommended items I was immediately contacted advising my car would be done in 5 min.When I picked up the car Moose was very positive and processed my paperwork and was on the road.My experience was an excellent one and I was made to feel very comfortable and confident the service was completed competently .I would recommend Moose as a service writer to anyone having their car serviced there.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Best service center I've ever been to. I got my oil change and rotation. I've gone to several over the years around San Diego but this one is by far the best; the level of professionalism, customer service and care is the exceptional. I have two toddlers and bring them anywhere is difficult but they made my kiddos and I feel welcome and were so friendly and kind. I will be coming back for all future service and recommending them. Best Honda Service ever!!! My safety features on my Honda Civic randomly stopped working one day! I didn t know what to do since I had just moved to SD and never had any car problems in the past, but Moose was super awesome and really helped walk me through what was going on. We eventually had to replace the camera which was on back-order, but Moose kept me in on the progress and soon as the part arrived, I got it fixed the very next day! Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Bud Kilbury and his staff were great! Patient, effective and efficient. Excellent explanations, patient, good humored and very good to my 15 year old SUV and to me. I felt confident that all the repairs recommended and completed (struts, door locks, heater, etc.) were necessary/appropriate. I had an oil change and needed some additional work done on my Odyssey 4-5 weeks ago. Excellent customer service. Bud gave recommendations on what repairs that were needed and explained why. This past week, I had a noise that sounded like I was dragging something under my car. I stopped in, and Moose immediately checked me in and looked at my van. They pulled out a 3 foot branch from a tree we had rode over a few days earlier, at no charge. Excellent customer service from Bud and Moose. I went in for an oil change and inspection. Moose helped me out right away and I didn't wait long for my car to be finished. Afterwards he went through all of the upcoming preventative maintenance that should be done and the estimates of each. My car doors on my minivan were not working properly and they took such good care of me here. They had the problem solved and fixed in a couple of hours. Moose Parwani was the service advisor and he was the nicest guy - super friendly and helpful. Bud and the Service Techs at Service Center of Santee did excellent work at a reasonable price. The car was ready at the time promised - and I didn't even have to wait for an appointment. They found a problem with my tie rods, documented it with pictures and video, and gave me some different options to consider for repair or replacement. On my second visit, they replaced the worn tie rod ends and did a complete realignment. Honda Service Center of Santee is about the same distance from home to Honda of El Cajon, but the vibe at the new Service Center feels just a little better - even though they're both basically under the same ownership. So glad to have this Honda service center. The location is super convenient. I was nervous my brakes were in need of repair, and they got me in for an appointment within a couple of hours. Bud Kilbury was very helpful in explaining the issues, what was needed, and working with us to get everything fixed and safe. These guys are always willing to help out. Best service I've had at a Dealership/ Dealer Service Center. The one in El Cajon has tried cheating me out of money countless times. These guys at this Santee location have never let me down. I'd also like to personally thank Julio their parts guy. He makes sure to get me the right answers about the parts and the torque specs for each bolt. I genuinely respect the workers here and will continue to bring business to this location
