One of the most professional, and family oriented places I've been to. Not only were they able to quickly diagnose the situation, gave me my options and quickly repaired my vehicle. Thank you for always looking out for our vehicles and making sure that we're driving safely on the roads each day. We will be coming back and forth as needed, not only is your work extremely done well and was full of knowledge and understanding, but your prices are fair and reasonable. D&R has actually, experienced mechanics at the front counter. They are not service advisors trying to upsell you into things you don't need. If they say you need to do something to your vehicle, do it! I cannot recommend them as anything but the best. Allow them to earn your business, you won't regret it.

I have used D & R automotive for over 30 years. They are quick to diagnose problems, offer suggestioins related to repair, and complete work quickly and fairly priced. I really trust my car and truck to them.

D & R Automotive is the go-to place to get your car taken care of. Michael and his staff was great, very patient, and very helpful!! I went there to get my vehicle inspection done and they were able to tell me spot on what I need to fix and why; at a very reasonable price!! Got my inspection done and my vehicle fixed and was ready to hit the road in no time!!! GOO!! D & R Auto!!!

Always VERY attentive and thorough...and accommodating...even to my dog Spotz, giving him a metal (not plastic!) water dish. Their prices are reasonable and I feel very confident with their work...and their reasonable pricing.

We continue to appreciate D & R under their new ownership. They always take such good care of our cars and make us feel right at home. We have chosen not to purchase a new vehicle, and maintain the ones we have as a result of current inflation and rising prices. We spend way less money by bringing our older vehicles in for maintenance and upkeep. D&R is able to quickly access exactly what the issues are and fix them in a timely manner, without breaking the bank! And added plus for the air conditioning waiting room, which is clean and tidy, and they also provide excellent coffee while you re waiting. Highly recommend. Thank you for taking the time to help me out with my car and fix all the stuff that needed fixing.It was pretty involved I guess and it's hard to put money into a 205k car, but hopefully she'll keep going for another couple years at least. Options are pretty limited these days for a new car.Thanks again!

Great quality and honesty. If you want your vehicle taken car of correctly, it s absolutely worth making an appointment. Mike was easy going but straight up. I needed my oil pan replaced and they did their standard inspection and within an hour he had an estimate and other maintenance suggestions that he didn t try to force on me and even suggested waiting if I didn t want to or have the money. Thanks D&R!!!!

Fixed my car in no time at all, it was cheap, Mike helped us and he was amazing. He even did a small repair on my Mom's car right then and there. Amazing service, Amazing guys, this is definitely my new go-to!

I found D & R automotive through the AAA website. I knew I could trust them because of that, plus the other reviews I read about them were very positive. I currently own a used 2003 Toyota. I brought it in mainly for an oil change and my check engine light was on. I was very nervous about how much I would be spending on it. I use to own an Audio A4 and getting out without spending over $1000 every time was unheard of. Checking in was easy and they gave me an estimate of $160 which made me hugely relieved! They did end up finding a few things of concern with my car but all the quotes given are reasonable. I will have to bring my car in at a future date for them but I will definitely bring it back to D & R. Everyone there is so nice and helpful. They provide shuttle service and you can get texts to notify you of when to call them which I think is very convenient. I love supporting local small businesses and I highly recommend to use D &R!

Had check engine light on and needed brakes on my pathfinder. D and R diagnosed and repaired the issues with my vehicle. The repairs were completed quickly and a at fair price. If you need work done on your vehicle I highly recommend D and R. D&R Automotive has been my family's car mechanic for over 20 years. Dave & Rick and theirs spouses are delightful people. Ron who is always at the front desk is also a great. person. I can count on honesty and consideration for my valuable time. I know that if a repair is too expensive for the value of my 2007 car, I will get very good advice. My car runs well with D&R care since 2009! this family owned business values return customers who are treated like loyal friends. I have recommend D&R Automotive to many friends & family!

Great service techs, honest, and trustworthy. These are hard qualities to find in mechanics. I moved to El Cajon 3 years ago. I've only taken my vehicle to D & R and will continue, even when I get my next vehicle. Thankful for Mike at D & R.

I had a pretty good experience with D&R. They were polite and direct over the phone about the repairs needed and the costs, they asked great questions that showed they really knew their work, and I never felt pushed to get work done that wasn t necessary. It took a day longer than the estimate but they were sure to let me know once that was clear.

Everyone at D&R is fantastic. It almost feels like I'm working with family. They take the time to walk me through everything and answer all of my questions. They also help me make decisions about how to proceed. My parents trust D&R so much they are the ones who recommended I go to them. And now I bring both of my daughters' cars to them too!

Shane and his crew are exceptional. Highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their car or truck. We have been going to D&R for more then 15 years, my brother and his wife told us about them and they are truly honest in there work and treatment, they not only took care of the problems but check for any future problems, we trust them and know that they are not scamming us when they point things out, we can only say Thank you for taking care of us, and yes we highly recommend D&R.Our latest visit was an emergency type visit and D&R turned us around quickly and with quality. D & R have been taking care of my vehicles since the 90 s and are always honest, efficient and timely. Friendly staff is a plus. They inspect the vehicle and keep you informed of any issues to consider to stay running smooth.

OMG I just got done at D and R Automotive and can I just say what a nice experience I had. The customer service is top notch especially Nancy and Ron they are just such a great duo. My car was making a strange noise and I have had bad experiences with auto shops trying to up sale me instead of fixing the problem. I took my Honda to D and R Automotive and they not only helped me figure out the problem but they fixed it and the price was beyond reasonable. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a honest auto shop that wont break you pocket book! Thanks you guys I will be back!
