Everything was okay. I did not appreciate being offered three levels of vehicle service. My best mechanics (for my older cars) are straightforward about what needs to be done rather than playing games with offering options. The staff at Hansel are very nice but I don t trust that they will just tell me what needs to be done so I do that with minimal decision making. I have maintained all my cars faithfully in accordance with standard maintenance practices. The options that are offered are the key difference between dealing directly with actual mechanics versus dealing with sales people. This erodes my trust in the service provider.I had asked that my car (all electric) be charged so I could make it home (I travel one hour each way to see this particular dealership service provider). This didn t happen until I paid and then it was rushed. I had hoped (since I was clear when I dropped off the car, and my home address located one hour away is also clear) that it would be fully charged when I came to pick it up. After I asked, it was charged to a minimal amount that afforded me a stressful drive home worrying about whether I would make it. Ultimately, I would choose a different vehicle service provider but I believe Hansel VW is competent and I have family in Santa Rosa.Service: Auto maintenance

No communication in last 3 days about my steering wheel. I drove up, had pictures taken and had to reach out initially to get an update. Why do I have to chase down communication and any updates?? This is a brand new car and I'm not happy .Update. Since the initial visit, the service staff has gotten better in communication with me and I've been happy thus far .

I have been waiting for over a year to have the recall work performed on my VWID4. We are paying a lot for the car which feels like it is limping along. They claim to only have a few loaner cars and waiting on parts and a VW technician for the ID4.

The Service Center in my 5 year experience, has been exceptional, consistent, and courteous at every interaction. Special shout out to Kirstin. She is an exceptional employee, always informative, future thinking and helpful. Double checks everything, advises of next steps and future maintenance needs. I went to the dealer to have a detached door molding fixed, and to solve a defect recall, also related to the door.The defects were fixed. The service rep was attentive and courteous.

Ed and Lorie at Hansel VW Collision were exempilary in ordering new parts for our 2016 Touareg TDI. Their workmanship was the best quality and precision. The only negative experience was VW s Supply Chain breakdown in Germany. Our car was down for 1 year & 1 month. We incurred almost $10,000 in rent-a-car bills, for an accident that was not our fault, because of VW s parts delays. Plus we had 1 year + of car payments for a vehicle that was down.I trust that VW will do the right thing.Hansel VW collision certainly has. We needed a larger SUV- like our Touareg- the last 3 months. Hansel gave us a BMW SUV loaner, which saved us all over $3,000 for rent-a-cars. Service is great. The only downside is no loaner cars. Many VW dealerships do provide loaners.
