Hello from California.1981 Buick Riviera Convertible, 58,000. V6, 4.1.I took Sybil out for a ride today. I m so grateful for #TristarAutomotive for fixing that damn carburetor and computer system! I have had Tristar service all of my vehicles for over 15 years. They have serviced multiple Toyota's, Volvo, Mercedes, Cadillac, and ford vehicles for me and my family. They are the best service center I have ever dealt with. They make my teenage daughter feel at home and treat her with dignity and respect. I have never had a complaint about any work or recommendations they have given me. I recommend them to all of my friends and everyone reports back to me with positive and happy results!

Been coming here for almost 20 years now. I trust Jim and his crew to be honest with me. I have never been asked to pay for unneeded or unnecessary work. On more than one occasion he's actually saved me a fortune by not needing to do all the originally quoted work.In a world where everybody is constantly stressed and rushing I find this amazing sense of calmness when dealing with these guys. I can't recommend them more.Also I've had work done on everything from an early 90's daihatsu charade to basic Camry's and Lexus'es to even a couple of vespa's and other scooters. These guys can literally do it all!!

Honest and professional service! Been going to them for over 10 years and they have serviced a number of my vehicles from classic cars to my everyday cars. Highly recommend and about to schedule another appointment for my daughter's car.

Horrible experience getting a car smog. They didn't pass me because of an intake that didn't have a carb legal sticker. KNOWING it wouldn't pass they still hooked it up to a machine and charged me the full amount. I tried seeing if I can get a discount or at least a discounted retest. The person at the counter smerked and say no. Very bad and dishonest business practice I received there.Knowing this I wouldn't recommend anyone go there unless they want to throw money at them..

I couldn't be happier with a mechanic. Tristar services all my vehicles from a 2005 Honda Pilot to my 1954 Chevy pickup. I can trust that the work will be done right every time and that they will do only what is needed, no up-selling of unnecessary services. My son took his recently purchased Subaru Forester in to Tristar with what appeared to be a blown engine seal, a very costly repair. Turned out to be a leaking radiator hose. They fixed it, washed the car and charged nothing. These guys are the greatest!

If you want the job done right THE FIRST TIME, go to Tristar Automotive. One place where year make and model makes no difference. Whether it be a 2015 BMW, a 1955 Buick, or a 1915 Model T they can do it all. Also can upgrade your automobile to the highest standards. I had my Stanley Steamer engine rebuilt by Ron Parolla at Tristar automotive several years ago, and have never had a moment of trouble with it!

HAD AN APPT SCHEDULED. I WAS A FEW MIN. LATE. CALLED TO LET THEM KNOW. THEY WERE VERY GRACIOUS. MY CAR IS A 1993 TOYOTA COROLLA DX WAGON...ON ITS LAST LEGS BUT I'M DISABLED AND IT WILL PROB B MY LAST CAR. SO, NURSING IT ALONG. I HAVE BEEN HERE B4, THO YRS AGO.SAME COURTEOUS PROFESSIONAL MANOR. THESE GUYS ARE FAST, EFFICIENT AND ALL BUSINESS. I LIKE THAT! THEY ESCORTED ME TO A VERY CLEAN, WELL VENTILATED WAITING ROOM THAT HAS WINDOWS LOOKING OUT TO THE GARAGE SO YOU SEE YOUR CAR THE WHOLE TIME. ALSO NOTED RE THE WAIT ROOM HAD A DISABLED ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM JUST OFF OF IT. ROOM ENOUGH FOR A LRG WHEELCHAIR TO MAKE A FULL CIRCLE. I WORKED 45 YRS AS A CAREGIVER AND MY LAST 25 YRS WAS WITH A WHEELCHAIR BOUND 325 LB MAN IN A HUGE CHAIR W BELLS AND WHISTLES SO I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKIN ABOUT HERE. [THIS RESTROOM IS CODE COMPLIANT!!] ALSO MY SON WORKS IN CONSTRUCTION AS AN INSPECTOR ( HE KNOWS THE CODE) HE WOULD GOLD STAR THESE GUYS FOR SURE!! THE SHOP WAS ALSO VERY CLEAN AND TIDY.I DID SOME RESEARCH B4 COMING IN OF OTHER SHOPS IN THE AREA. I WAS (NOT) IMPRESSED-ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO OLDER CARS LIKE MINE. LOOK, I BOUGHT THIS CAR BRAND NEW BACK IN 93 AND I WANTED A GOOD CAR OR MACHINE AND I MUST SAY I HAVE ((NEVER)) HAD A PROBLEM W THIS VEHICLE. TOYOTA TOOK GREAT CARE OF ME AND I WAS GOOD ABOUT IT'S CK-UPS. IT'S OUT OF WARRANTY NOW. I PUT A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS INTO IT A CPL YRS BACK TO MAKE SURE IT WOULD CARRY ME FOR A BIT LONGER SO, LAST THING I WANTED WAS ONE OF THOSE LITTLE 'MISHAPS' AT ONE OF THOSE (( OTHER PLACES)).SO ((TRISTAR)) WILL BE MY GO-TO PLACE AS LONG AS SHE KEEPS RUNNIN. AFTER THAT I'LL BE A GOOD REFERRAL!! BTW I PAID $75.00 AND WAS OUT OF THERE IN LIKE ? 30 MIN. NOW, EVERYBODY'S CAR IS DIFFERENT... SO, MINE HAD NO PROBLEMS. IT WAS A STRAIGHT 'STAR SMOG'. BUT I FELT THAT THAT PRICE WAS QUITE FAIR AND VERY REASONABLE. THERE WAS ALSO ACCESSIBLE PARKING RIGHT NEXT TO THE ENTRANCEI JUST WANTED TO ADD THAT TRISTAR DESERVES ((LOTS OF ADDL KUDOS)) FOR THAT [[STELLAR ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM.]] THE AMERICANS W DISABILITIES ACT HAS BEEN IN FORCE FOR WELL OVER 20 YRS AND PEOPLE ARE STILL HARD PRESSED TO FIND PLACES TO SHOP FOR GOODS AND SERVICES THAT OFFER ACCESSIBILITY. OUR POPULATION IS AGING ( THE BABY BOOMERS) AND ITS BEEN A RACE AGAINST TIME TO GET PEOPLE TO COMPLY...LET ALONE DO IT CORRECTLY AND UP TO PROPER CODE REGULATIONS. ITS CLEAR THIS WAS NOT 'JUST DONE' WHICH TELLS ME THEY MOST LIKELY GOT RIGHT ON IT, AS SOON AS THEY COULD, ONCE THE LAW WAS EFFECTIVE. ITS NOT AN INEXPENSIVE UNDERTAKING FOR BUSINESSES TO DO THIS WORK NOR DOES IT PAY-OFF FOR EVERYONE ONCE COMPLIANT. SO, IF YOU ARE DISABLED AND YOU FREQUENT SHOPS THAT ARE COMPLIANT, ESPECIALLY SMALL BUSINESSES BECAUSE ITS A HUGE UNDERTAKING FOR MANY FINANCIALLY AND CONSTRUCTION-WISE AS WELL. BE SURE TO "CATCH THEM BEING GOOD" AND OFFER A KUDO TO THEM. THESE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO JUST GOT OUT AND DID IT (WITHOUT BEING POKED AND PRODDED). THEY SET THE EXAMPLE FOR THOSE WE MUST POKE AND PROD. AND WHEN YOU ARE DISABLED AND IN A CHAIR IT TRULY MEANS SO MUCH TO KNOW YOU CAN GO GET SOMETHING DONE THAT DAY WITHOUT THE WORRY AND FRUSTRATION OF HAVING TO WONDER IF, IN THE EVENT YOU NEED A RESTROOM, WHETHER ITS EVEN GOING TO BE THERE FOR YOU....(SOMETHING THE REST OF US TAKE FOR GRANTED.)THANKS AGAIN TRISTAR!!
