Roger has been my go to mechanic for anything I am unable to do myself. He is reasonable, personable, and just an all round pleasure to conduct buisness with. I will continue to return here with my vehicle trouble in the future.

I'm married to a guy who has built many cars from the ground up. He doesn't want to pay money for anyone else to fix the car because he can do it himself. He thinks an oil change should cost $30. Well nowadays we are too busy for him to take care of that kind of stuff so we started bringing our cars to Rodger.You're not going to believe this (or at least I hardly can). My husband thinks Rodger has reasonable prices and that he's a great mechanic. Now it's one thing if I say "Rodger's been great!", but I post my husband's comments here because he is WAY harder to please.The last thing I'll say is that, while talking to Rodger I learned that he became a mechanic as a part time gig while he went to med school. He liked it so much and did so well, he stayed! (But I guess it's a similar profession- diagnosis and treatment of cars and people.) I bring this up just so you know that he's a smart, quality person who cares about people. And also, I think people who love what they do are usually the kind of people I want to hire.

Roger and the other mechanic that works there are awesome. First time coming here, you can tell roger is good people and not one of those mechanics that are trying to swindle every penny from you. I found my new mechanic shop! I called about 15 shops and they were the second cheapest and they were the only shop that was willing to get me in the next day! Quality work, car drives like it was brand new. Thanks guys!

I came to Rodger after meeting him through another automotive shop.He gave me a very fair rate on labor for installing parts I provided.Now everything in my Mazda MPV is hunky dory.

It was awesome doing business with Sartorial auto repair. Roger, the owner, was beyond helpful. Other than the fact that the service was quick and the price was reasonable compared to other shops in the area, he gave me much needed tips about smog inspection and registering my vehicle.Thank you, Roger. I highly recommend Sartorial Auto for efficient service. Our Toyota Rav4 was having engine issues, which we anticipated would require replacement of several expensive parts. Sartorial was able to diagnose the problem and repair the engine in a single day, so that we could quickly and safely get back on the road. I appreciated the straightforward transactions and the careful replacement only of what was needed to ensure the cost was reasonable. Owner Roger is amazing. I took my RSX having problem vibrate a lot after start up motor and get worse as drive around 30 mph and up.It took Roger 10-seconds to diagnosed the problems after he start up motor and he says it's a bad motor mount(s) and repaired in 1-hour.Reason I took my car to Sartorial Auto Repairs was after read all 5-Stars reviews and those reviews were right. Highly recommend Sartorial Auto Repairs. Thankyou

I have gone to Rodger and his crew for many years with many cars and many different problems. He is always friendly, professional and honest. He will tell you what the problem is and different options for repair. His service is quick and he generally saves me money. He has made himself available even after hours and on days off when I ve been stranded and had to have my car towed in. I highly recommend his service and I don t think you ll be disappointed.Service: Engine repair

Overpriced. $37 part (interior door handle), total cost $305. Over the phone 'ballpark estimate' of $200, came time to pay and bumped up the price by $105 to replace a broken door handle. Won't be a repeat customer. When I called over the phone, Roger told me to bring it down and he'd take a quick look. Turns out he charged labor for the roughly 1 minute 'look' as well, with no prior mention. Wonder how long this review will last before it gets taken down?Service: Auto maintenance

After an inspection of my 2005 Camry by a different mechanic, I got a quote to get my two front CV axles repaired - but it seemed to be on the higher end of costs for that job (according to Google - I don't know much about cars). So I took it to Rodger on a recommendation and got the repair done for cheaper than the quote I got - and quickly. Rodger was friendly, honest, and knows his craft. My car is driving better than ever now!

Was traveling and needed my serpentine belt replaced. Roger got me in quick and got me out quicker, even fixed a dent for me for free. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back if I m passing through.

Rodger went to the ends of the Earth to diagnose, solve and resolve interconnected issues in our 1994 Dodge Ram van. He knew exactly how it should look, sound and run and did everything imaginable to make the van safe and road-worthy for our family. He never gave up. I appreciate his candor and perseverance, in addition to his friendliness and courteous ways. I brought my 2002 Toyota 4Runner to Sartorial to fix my 4 wheel drive. The Toyota dealer where I purchased it had fixed the problem years ago and charged me $2000. It malfunctioned again after the service warrantee ran out. I decided not to fix it again given the expense. But this year I wanted to go to the snow and brought it to Sartorial on the high recommendation of a friend. I left Sartorial with a big smile, and an appreciation of the honesty, skill, and research capability of Roger Sartori, the principal. He is a pro, and the price was a fraction of what I paid that dealer so long ago. I have a new friend and a go to guy.

I have been taking my 15 year old truck with3300000 miles to Rodger since day one. Rodger's preventative maintenance has made my old truck economical to continue driving. You can't go wrong with Sartorial auto repair!

These are great mechanics who always look for the most economical solution. They are trustworthy and hardworking. You have to make an appointment in advance because they're always so busy. I'm writing this for out of towners in the situation I was in. I'm from Phoenix but was in Santa Rosa on business. My radiator ended up cracking on me and leaving me in dire straits. I called numerous places and received some absolutely absurd quotes for the repair. I assume because of what I call the "out of towner tax". Real thing? Ask around for quotes and make your own decision.I was pretty disheartened until I called Sartorial. They were very friendly and helpful from the start. Gave me an incredibly honest quote and got me in on a busy Saturday when no one else would. The repairs were made quickly along with a few extras he threw in just because. Like replacing a blown fuse I didnt even know about. I left their shop and headed out on my 13 hour drive back to Phoenix. Zero issues on my drive and made it home safely. To say I appreciate their honesty and integrity is an understatement. I would shake their hands again if I could but the best I can do is leave this review. If you need work done at an honest and fair price, look no further than Sartorial. You've found the right auto shop. Thanks again Sartorial.

In the middle of busy day, Mr Satorial took the time to diagnose our issue. We were headed home to So Cal and we wanted to make sure we were safe We didn t know him and we were vulnerable to his reccomemdation and he was so nice and professional. Got us on the road and took away our worry. Based on our experience he is a shop that you can trust with your car

I have a special needs kid and Roger has always done a amazing job getting my repairs finished quickly. With the quick service he still takes the time to diagnose correctly and not just throw part at it.

Mr. Sartorial is a professional and a gentleman. He quoted me 2/3 off the price to do the timing belt on my Kia that my dealer quoted me and got it done in two days. Then, when he heard that I would be riding my bike over to santa rosa to pick up my car, offered to meet me half way at safeway so I wouldn't have to cross the highway and deal with downtown traffic. Good to know that decent mechanics are still out there; I would highly recommend for a friendly, professional and personable tradesman.
