This is the first time to use a private repair shop for my 2010 Prius and I have been so impressed by the professional service and treatment from the team especially Victor who helped me. He was very helpful in explaining what was wrong with my car and took measures to save me money by process of elimination and buying warranty used parts first before buying new. Plus my car was done several days before they thought it would be. I would recommend this shop and am so happy for the friends and family who recommend them to me! They will be the first ones I call for service from now on.

I had to bring my car in for two major services recently, one expected and one unexpected. I went to Peet's both times because they are quick, reliable, warranty their work, and the price is right. Particularly if you have a Japanese car, you can't go wrong at this mechanic. They did my brakes, charged my air conditioning, and replaced my starter when I had a mysterious parasitic battery drain that I could not locate. I have been coming to this place for 12 years, and I intend to continue coming for all of my automotive service needs that are not covered by a warranty at the dealership. Great experience, took my '19 forester there for a tcv change out. Service was done quickly and was affordable. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly nice and straight forward. Can't recommend enough, will continue to take my business here.

These guys are the best. I've been taking several of my cars here for over 7 years, and have only experienced great service and prices. They're very reliable, friendly and honest about repairs that need to be made, and whether they are urgent repairs or if I have some time before I need to worry about replacing or fixing said item. I refer anyone who asks me if I know a good mechanic, to this shop.Services: Transmission, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement

We have been going to Peet's for over 20 years and have always found them to be honest and dependable and have never had any problems with our vehicles. Even when it changed owners and Shawn took over, we continued to go because he is so considerate and trustworthy! Don't let looks fool you! The outside of the building may look questionable, but the work & people aren't!

My first time using these guys, so I'm giving them 4 instead of 5 stars. If they keep up the good work, I'll give them 5 next time. They were thorough, professional, and explained in detail what they found when they looked at my car engine, and what to do about it. They also accommodated me when their schedule was full, because I had a hard deadline for my DMV registration the next day. I'll go back, and recommend Peet's Garage to others.

I absolutely love Peet's and won't take my car anywhere else! I started going here years ago, because it was the only place my grandpa would take his cars. My grandpa was a mechanic for the county, so he had a very good idea of what quality automotive work is. In my experience with them, Peet's has always been 100% honest and thorough with my car. I took one of my vehicles in thinking there was something terribly wrong. Peet's could have scammed me and said it was $600+ and I would have believed them, but they happily called me at work to report that the repair was under $80. I'll never go to another shop! Thanks, Peet's!!

Fabulous service! So very helpful! I was headed to St Helena (my husband just had ER surgery there) smoke or steam came out of the hood of my van as I got on hwy 101. I'm from out of town have no idea where to go. Peets was recommended by a 3A garage because I was close to them. Peets staff got the hose & clamp ordered and replaced quickly for me. Also replace the cap I obviously lost when I tried to figure it out at the gas station. I highly recommend Peets.

I have been doing business with peet's for 25 years and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. They don't patronize because I'm a woman or treat me like I'm dumb. They are very knowledgeable and explaine to me is going on with the car. And they are always right. I love peet's. They are a family business who take pride in a fair business

Went in for a check engine light, P1362, tdc for my 1997 Honda CRV, was looking at possibly $1300 +, fortunately less than half to clear the code fix the issue and get me to smog which I passed and AAA for registration! Thank you, Victor, Sean and the wonderful team at Peets off Cleveland Avenue Santa Rosa!

When I took my vehicle in they worked on it, told me what they found and what they thought I needed. It was an older vehicle, so they could have easily tried to suggest a laundry list of other fixes. They did not. It felt like they were there to help me with what I asked for, not to get as much work as possible. The were quick, honest, and helpful. It was a good experience.

Had an oil change done but the oil was as dirty when finished as when I took it in. The mechanic did not drain all the oil out but left much of it in because he removed the pan too early. I wasted $75 and now it has to be redone again. I would give it a minus star. Do not recommend them.

I have been a customer at Peets Garage since I moved up to Sonoma County about 6 years ago. Peets is a no frills automotive repair shop that gives quality service at excellent prices. The staff is polite, professional, experienced, knowledgeable and honest. They take excellent care of their customers and their cars. They stand by their work, answer questions with patience and go the extra mile whenever needed. I highly recommend them. They are the best.

Have quite a complicated car that had quite comlilicated issues (bmw 135i, coolant hose leak, water pump failure / thermostat housing, boost leak).The guys at Peet's garage did it all in a timely manner and charged a fair price. Plus tightened everything up to prevent it in the future.

Excellent service, fair pricing. They were thorough in diagnosing the issue and worked to solve it in the simplest and most economical way possible before going to other options, good communication and will not try to add unnecessary repairs, would highly recommend.

Always correct auto maintenance and repairs. Professional customer service. They explain very well whether suggestions are required or customer choice, and the predicted results from those choices. Reasonable fees.
