Rebuilt engine, rebuilt transmission, replaced suspension, brought my 97 nissan pickup back to life. Greg is a very honest professional and experienced mechanic! I have been taking my cars to G Roman s Transmissions for over 15 years. I have never been overcharged or suggested work that was not necessary. I just feel taken care of at his shop. This is my first review and I added a follow up review at the bottom of this review, read further to see my warning to others!I recommend Roman s Transmission to anyone who can appreciate excellent workmanship and customer service. They did a great job repairing my transmission and offered recommendations that really helped get my vehicle back on the road running strong. Very professional and reasonable. Thank You Roman s Transmission and Auto Repair!!! - original review.Three Years later-I brought the vehicle back for inspection 3 years later because I had some slipping and big noise going on in transmission which they did not find anything. I was not impressed with the expensive diagnostic charge and the lack of accountability regarding incidents that took place with my vehicle while in their care. Greg the owner disputed my claims essentially calling me a liar. No thank you! Thought I would share in case anyone might be forewarned.

I have been going here for years because of the integrity of their work. I am loyal to this shop because I trust them because they are honest. I had to go through many mechanics before finding one I would stick to. None of the funny business I experienced other places. Always great quality work, done in a timely manner without the worries of many other mechanics. My Cadillac runs so much better after my last visit

Some years ago Romans rebuilt the transmission for my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 with 4x4. Due the the fact my diesel was putting out more HP and torque than stock made recommendations that have made a great transmission for all of my trailer towing needs. Always bring it back to him for service and it is still in great operational condition.Very knowledgeable, respectful and able service is excellent. Cannot recommend any higher.Thank you.

A rare find amongst price gouging repair shops.I just saved 3 grand on my 2015 Ford Escape transmission replacement.Greg Roman is the real deal. If you don't believe me, go see for yourself but remember to bring earplugs to cover the 'old-school' sound of air guns doing quicklyrepair shop sound of certified craftsmen, at work bringing all kinds auto's back to service.Jim B

Very friendly when I called on the phone. I felt very comfortable while talking to Roman over the phone. He quoted me a price for a transmission service, which is much cheaper than his competitors. I will definitely recommend Romans Transmission shop to all of my friends and family, when ever they might need transmission service. Awesome work Mr.Roman!!! Brought my Honda in for a free diagnostic which he insisted... really!!! other places were like $150 just to look at the car. Brought the car in and he drove it for less then 2 min and told me what was the problem.... I m still like WOW... the price compared to other shops for the work I got done was phenomenal.. the car drives like a new car so smooth and great work. keep up the good work and thanks to your entire team!!!!

We scheduled a service on the strength of a recommendation from our neighbors who have been receiving service from Romans for years. Now, we are also recommending there service.We were looking for another vehicle service provider after years of going to the same place. It had changed ownership and there were problems with our vehicle service as well as for others we know.After one visit to Romans, we are already scheduling our other vehicle and are sincerely grateful for the recommendation to Romans.

I was really worried about being a younger girl and taking my car somewhere because I don't know anything about cars. He was really nice, gave me an estimate over the phone, which was decently priced! They got it in and out easily just in time for the weekend. When picking up my car, he let me know my engine oil was low and even topped it off for me! I would definitely recommend him.

Roman is a great mechanic! He is trustworthy, respectful and knowledgable. He has fixed my car a few times and is extremely fair. He will not shiste you at all. And fair with his charges too. Go here if you like to support the ma and pa shops.

Personally, I think Roman's is awesome. They fixed my daughter's car for $800 when four other transmission shops quoted an average cost of $4,000. They had great service, fixed the car in one day, and even reattached her skid plate that had fallen off - and was in her trunk. I would not hesitate to go there again

Very satisfied with service and price. Took my Jeep initially to Lithia and they couldn t find the problem which was no surprise but Roman did a righteous test drive, diagnosed the problem and fixed it all without having to make an appointment or leaving it overnight. I will continue to use romans for my mechanical needs.

Greg Roman is an amazing mechanic we had an extremely difficult service that needed to be done. Greg handled it with expertise and was able to identify the problem and solve the problem with a minimum of vehicle downtime. If you have a car problem I would recommend Greg Roman.

This is one of those places that deserves more than 5 stars. The owner is smart, expert, and passionate about his profession and business. He will teach you anout your vehicle. When he sees a problem, he shows it to you, and explains what needs to be done. Expert diagnostician. Price is very fair. You will be treated like family.
