Sold me used vehicle and after I washed it you could see how messed up all the trim was. They covered it up with some product. When I came back and showed them they basically said the best they can do is a free car wash. A new car is a new car but I wouldn t trust these people.

The gentleman who handled my car service was amazing! I trusted his assessment and felt he had my priorities in mind. When it comes to buying a Subaru, Janna Nocerino is the jack of all trades from answering the phone regarding my inquiry on the new 2023 Subaru Forrester Premium to the thorough communication and product knowledge she had all the answers. She made magic happen with Sales manager Arturo Figueroa to get the best deal for me. Then to top it all off finalizing all of the effortless paperwork with no pressure Finance Manager Venron Wilkins, I must say Subaru of Santa Monica genuinely provides the red carpet treatment.The entire process was nothing but a euphoric, haggle free, no non-sense straight to the point experience as every car buying process should be. They were diligent, prepared and professional when it came to me picking up the vehicle in person. The 2023 Subaru Forrester in Ice Silver was sitting there in front of the dealership immaculate, thoroughly detailed, spotless with a full tank of gas waiting for me to drive it off of the lot. I was at a loss for words. It was all surreal to me.Thank you all for making this a truly memorable event for me.I am now a proud owner of my first Subaru Forrester

Went looking for a Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e and found one at Santa Monica Subaru used car division. It was a great deal, easy transaction, although the managers were extremely busy at the time, they still took care of us.I got a stellar deal. If you're looking 4 a great used car other than the Subaru I would go to them. if you're looking for a Subaru definitely go to them it's worth the drive. We drove all the way from San Dimas to purchase the vehicle.The salesperson was honest and when he did not know an answer, got help. Ask for Kennedy Kinses--he is great.

Had an incredible experience leasing my new Subaru at Subaru Santa Monica! The entire staff went above and beyond to make the experience as smooth and pleasant as possible. Joey, the manager, got me an awesome deal on the lease and was super responsive to my calls and voicemails. Genaro, the sales consultant, was so kind, knowledgeable, and detail oriented to make sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the way. Liz, the finance manager, made the paperwork a breeze. I'm so happy about my new Subaru!

Not only are we delighted with the service, but also the speed and availability to make things happen almost instantly. The process was tremendously efficient, the staff absolutely helpful and endearing (thank you for everything, James). And the Outback Onyx that we bought is a wonderful car; we even installed a rooftop tent right there. This dealership is incredible! Thank you and congratulations!

This review is of Subaru Service. My 2015 Forester is coming up on ~100k miles and there s a knocking sound when turning. Regular maintenance for my car isn t traditionally done at the dealer, but at a milestone mileage or when a more significant issue is detected, I ll bring it in.Daniel Jang has taken good care of me from start to finish. He s personable, authentic, attentive, understanding and a good communicator. If everyone was like Daniel, dealing with car maintenance wouldn t feel like such a hassle. I wish sales was this good without being shifty (in general, not just Subaru).We don t know cars, nor the resources that go into maintenance when needed. So to be able to trust on the individual level goes a long way. I trust Daniel.Is there an eye-rolling line item that ensures Subaru will keep profitable, yep. Are the costs 10-50% higher than reputable Independent local shops who use aftermarket products. Yep. But that is clearly communicated before they touch your car. As a business they have a line to walk. Be a brand ambassador for Subaru to drive retention while still maintaining a profit on the parts/service-side. Their shop probably has more significant overhead to take on the volume than an independent. And if they don t include certain measures, they can be taken advantage of giving out free work. That doesn t help with keeping their people employed, so I support even if potentially inconvenient in my case.The leverage of a dealer has as being the only OEM supplier, and being backed enough to stand behind their work comes at a cost. But with people like Daniel, I TRUST which is worth the loyalty.Do I wish I didn t have significant problems short of 100k miles? Sure. But this isn t a review for the 2015 Subaru Forester, it s for the team that s there to make the best of your situation. So kudos, keep up the good work.

I found myself in urgent need for a car when my old one needed an engine repair that was more $$$ than the worth of the car itself. I had been thinking about the Subaru Crosstrek for quite awhile so I headed over to Subaru Santa Monica and met Ronnell, a very friendly, knowledgable salesman there. We did the test drive in exactly the car I wanted, the only fly in the ointment was it was a dealer trade and already sold. Ronnell was able to find the exact same model and actually went and got it from another dealership and had it ready the next morning. Elizabeth did the contract with me and there was none of the usual upsell pressure you encounter at most dealerships. All in all a pleasurable buying experience. To add even more value, Subaru has a "Love" experience where you are invited to come back after a week or two to get a one on one mentoring session, in my case with a specialist named JJ, to dig deep into all the aspects of the vehicle. Infotainment System, Safety Features, etc. As an added reward, he gave me a fuel gift card! I have to say Subaru is on a mission to give customers a first class dealer concierge experience on a par with what I have experienced after owning Mercedes for the last 26 years. Subaru staff went way beyond my expectations. 5 stars to this crew, 6 stars if I had the option!

Had a remarkable experience purchasing a new 2024 Crosstrek Premium at Subaru Santa Monica. I was aiming to purchase one on 12/31 to try and take advantage of the last day of the month/year sales. I reached out to 6 different Suburu dealerships. Nancy Bouatay at Subaru Santa Monica, was the only one who really stepped up for me and got me a phenomenal price with the exact color & optional package that I wanted. She even had to drive up to a cooperating dealership in Thousand Oaks to secure my car! She made the whole process easy & stress free!Things took a turn for the "even better" when I stepped into Mel Fernandes's office, the finance manager at the dealership. I usually dread this part of the car buying process but this experience was like no other I've ever had at a dealership finance office. Mel was incredibly laid back and made the whole process super easy. He did me a huge solid when it came to the actual payment for the vehicle (for brevity & my personal confidentiality I will omit specifics). It was huge for me! Mel was also great about negotiating a great price on an extended warranty!Came back a few days after my purchase to meet the dealership's delivery specialist, Jesus Jimenez. JJ was fantastic & incredibly patient in going over all of the Crosstrek's many features. I'm not used to all the bells & whistles in an automobile. JJ took his time with me to make sure that I understood how to use all the different features.I highly recommend this dealership if you're in the market for a Subaru!Thanks Nancy, Mel & JJ at Subaru Santa Monica!!!

I had a disappointing experience with the Subaru dealership in Santa Monica. Despite purchasing a new Impreza in 2019, I consistently faced rudeness and unhelpful service. Even after giving them another chance, the situation worsened. Regrettably, I advise others to consider different locations for a better Subaru buying and service experience.

Wow I never come into dealerships from past experiences but today was different the moment I walked in Jalyce ,Arturo,Marj and Veron in Financing made it feel like I was dealing with family they worked their magic and now I am proud owner of a bmw x4 I will totally recommend my family and friends to get their cars here Thank you guys at Subaru at Santa Monica

Great friendly service! Dino sold us this gorgeous Nissan Sentra 2016 for $8k, but the best part was the service.We had a great intwractionnw everyone but especially Dino and Luis, who were very helpful, personable and patient.I loved the fact that their lot was across the street and open, we could just walk right in and look, we found at first a Highlander 2006 for $8k, then we found the Nissan. Within budget and cute as hell.The AC was right on, if u like it chill!

Unfortunately I am not the unique to share about the dealership still dishonest. Making long story short, one inspection became 2 charge twice for the same problem, after left my car for two days so they could try to find the problem and drive the car for a long distance they said 30miles to figure out the problem.Well, I got it the car with interior damages and missing items inside of the car, besides of being overcharged for a service that even happened as we discussed in the begin.They state on the receipt about drive the car for just 3 miles and didn t find any problem (of course they didn t find the problem, they didn t inspect the car as promised)Anyway, the new crew are not the same as before. Sadly because all the other negative reviews from the last year start to make totally sense.

This is an amended review that has been reduced to 1 star due to poor customer service tied to misrepresentations made by their service department. After a negative experience with the service department tied to another vehicle I own ... I was concerned that Subaru of Santa Monica was not completing certain services during regularly scheduled maintenance visits. Specifically, I was concerned that they were cutting corners where they could ... with matters that perhaps only a professional mechanic would notice. Not changing air filters, using lower grade oil, or not rotating tires, etc. So, when I recently brought my Crosstrek in for its first scheduled maintenance, I took a few precautions to insure the work was being done. For example, my car was due for a tire rotation in addition to other services to be completed. I made specific marks on my rear wheel with the thought that when I picked up my car I'd be able to determine that it had been properly rotated. Sure enough, despite Subaru advising me both verbally and in writing that a tire rotation took place, the wheels were in the exact same position as drop off. If this portion of my maintenance was not completed, what else are they being dishonest about? Did they really change the oil? Did they use the brand they claim they did? What other corners were cut? I wasted an hour of my time having them "service" my vehicle. I've been mislead by their service department and feel I should be compensated for the waste of time and for having to go to another dealer to have the work properly completed. AVOID this dealership.

It's always great service but we were told it was going to take about 3 hours and we were there for 51/2 hours. My husband had to go find out if our car was ready. All the other people that were waiting were all gone just us, had my husband but got up to check on progress, we would have been there longer.

Stay away from this dealer, especially from so called sales person Marjorie. Ask for a new sales person if she replies! She had over 4 hours to prep my car for purchase because I had a very long drive to the dealer. I showed up to a car covered in bird poop and they said they didn't have keys for me to test drive it. Completely disrespectful! Top it off: She left me outside for 1 hour. Then the dealer closed. Only after I texted again after to ask for an update on obtaining the keys she said, "no answer, sorry"... She didn't even have time for proper punctuation or sentence structure. A manager wasn't in sight! Also, car false advertised. It was definitely in an accident! Buyer beware! Again, stay away!

I had been in the market for a new car for over a month and after some shady and inconvenient issues Melroy and Janna were an absolute godsend.Melroy was incredibly honest and helpful and I appreciate him so much. He was diligent and helpful not something you see very often from a salesman if you are in the market I definitely recommend contacting Melroy. And Janna was incredibly helpful and informative. I went through some negative experiences but will continue to be going back to Janna and Melroy for assistance

The parts department needs better employees and the current imes absolutely fired. I called to purchase a part. I was hung up on twice, meaning i had to call 3 times. I asked for a supervisor, was told no, Then i was told the part isn't available. I called a different dealership and got what I needed in a 3 minute phone call that i only needed to make once.Extremely terrible service. Which is sad because i bought my car here. Id never go back.

Shady dealership that reneged on negotiated deal.I negotiated a deal with all specifics over the phone. As soon as we walked into the dealership to close, they told us that they do not want to honor the deal.We came in there to close the deal fast and easy, instead we walked and took our business elsewhere all due to the blatant lies of the salesperson.I understand that someone with very limited options and abilities has to make a living somehow. However, resorting to that kind of conduct made the dealership look more like a headquarter of sewer rats than a place to do business with.

This was honestly the smoothest and best car buying experience I've had yet. James and Elizabeth were both lovely to work with and both had incredible customer service. I've had my outback for a month now and couldn't be happier. If you're looking to get a new Subaru, this is the dealership to go to in all of LA.

Would provide 0 stars if possible for their service department. The team was so shady start to finish. They never provided me with a quote for what services they wanted to perform, they never gave me an estimate of costs or asked me to approve additional services. I go to pick up my car after 5 hours in the shop and am handed a $500 bill for services performed already with no ability to say "i don't want you to do anything extra to the vehicle for additional charges". This was a routine 6 month check-up that should have cost no more than $200 at max. Be alert when going there.

bought my wrx here several years ago. great experience right up until the point i was in finance signing the paperwork and my salesman came in, who was a very nice guy, told me that he had just wrecked the showroom floor model sti i just bought as he was taking it back to get prepared for me. talk about bad omens. i went on to get a wrx and while it was a solid wrx, i was always bummed i didn't have the sti.
