Sarah, the Service Manager, was extremely helpful and good to work with. Not only did she help with Honda Corporate to get a major transmission issue fixed, but she made her vast knowledge of the car and its systems easy for a lay person such as myself to understand. My interaction with her was easily the best that I ve ever had with any car dealership representative. She was extremely sympathetic to our difficult situation and resolved our car issue in the best possible way. I will be back to Honda SM, because she s earned my family s loyalty.

Friendly atmosphere, the staff is amazing & professional. My son Cameron bought a Honda Civic EX he was so excited being this is his 1st car. Ruben is the Senior Sales Consultant who helped Cameron he gave Cameron his fully undivided attention & we test drove the car, Cameron said, mom he made me feel so comfortable. It got late & Ruben bought us lunch. The price and finance was right with no hidden fees. My son & I are very satisfied customers. We both Thank Honda Santa Monica service. Ruben I'll definitely be back next year buying a car. To all the staff at Honda Santa Monica keep up the good work

Said I needed a rack and pinion replacement with a bill of around $4,000. Took it to another repair shop and they said the rack and pinion was fine. Minor adjustment for $250 and I've been driving it since for the last several months and it's fine. Looks like someone was looking for some extra money. I still had to pay an inspection fee of 114 and a tow fee of 185 to tow it to another auto company. Will never go here again. *Advisor: Tiffany Baker. Not sure who was the manager at this time - I asked the manager to review the advice from the mechanic - he did and got the same result.

Terrible Honda People of Santa MonicaI bought a Honda HRV 2022 and was experiencing issues with the battery. I scheduled an appointment with Honda Santa Monica Service as my car is under warranty. I turned my car in Thursday morning, and to my luck, their system was down. The Honda advisor, Edgar Galindo, stated he could not give an estimate until the diagnostic test was done.Later in the day, I received a call from Edgar with an update regarding my car. He stated my car was missing a battery sensor, and the service was covered through my warranty. I wanted to reconfirm the information he was telling me was correct. I consented for Santa Monica Honda to fix my car and move forward with the repairs under the impression it would be covered through my warranty. The next day, I did not hear back from Edgar. I received a text message stating my car was ready and with an invoice of $740.I immediately called Honda Santa Monica and received many excuses from staff that Edgar was unavailable or not in today. I asked to speak to the manager for further assistance. I spoke with John Castro, and wow this guy is unprofessional and lacks customer service skills. As a patron, I wanted to know what changed from one day to the other. And let me tell you, this branch lacks problem-solving skills, and I was surprised to hear how John Castro talks to customers. He was condescending and misogynistic towards me. He did not offer to look into the issue or HELP, all he wanted me to do was pay my invoice.I received a call Saturday morning from another car advisor, Cameron, who stated there was a misunderstanding and the repair was covered through my warranty. I was relieved but upset that Honda of Santa was so disorganized and unprofessional. I am aware mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability and treatment from specific staff is uncalled for. The amount of stress Honda put me through was not right. I did not receive an email to survey my experience, as Honda knew they messed up big time. Due to my terrible experience, I will NEVER come back.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Terrible scheduling - go to Marina Airport Honda service - way better and won't make you wait, then waste your time. The service manager here takes appointments, but doesn't have the staff to cover - had everyone filling out 'after hours envelopes' because they couldn't keep up. So strange, because he made it seem over the call for the appointment, there was no issue. "Bring it right in". Lame! Wasted about an hour of my time, rescheduled with marina airport Honda - way better service.

I never cease to be amazed at how terrible the service is when I go here. I made an appointment and I went there and a kid came out and said they would let them know I am here. No one came out so I went in and the guy told me to come back tomorrow. I told him I just needed a simple thing done. It would have taken someone who knew what they were doing 5 minutes. I watched a youtube video and did it in 20 minutes myself. UNLESS THEY ARE DOING SOMETHING FOR YOU FOR FREE, JUST GO TO A NORMAL MECHANIC.

I arrived 10mins before opening 10 mins before my schedule appt at 7am , I don t understand how an oil change takes 2 hours to complete ? When other places it take 20-30 mins I would understand if I went in during the middle of the day but I made my appt early to be the first there for a simple oil change, mind you I got this car 4 months ago and apparently I need so many new concerning work. This visit was ridiculous.Service: Oil change

I took my Honda Fit there because the check tire light was on. Michael helped me find a nail on my tire and directed me to a close by place where they could do the tire repair on a Friday at 4:30pm! I came back months later to have my left mirror fixed, and again Michael helped me immediately. I have peace of mind coming to Honda of Santa Monica, knowing that they are honest and efficient with their repairs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Very solid service. Car was leaking transmission fluid; service advisors helped me figure out whether it was safe to drive over the phone, and the parts department told me what the capacity of my car's reservoir was so that I could fill it up.

They said they checked my alignment because of a pulling problem and said it was perfect. I took it to another dealer who took care of it and realigned it. They noted it was off. They also didn't fix a remote key problem. All they did was change oil and charge me a fortune for my tire rotation.

Is it a reason to take the vehicle to Honda because they have all the Instruments to evaluate and make a diagnosis? The AIR BAGS symbol came on, they asked me $180 for the diagnosis, then they told me that they need a more in-depth "REVIEW" and that they would charge me more than $500. Is that normal? I work at UNIVISIONServices: Vehicle Inspection, Oil changeEs razon llevar el vehiculo a Honda porque tienen todos los Instrumentos para evaluar y hacer un diagnostico? I was able to get my code for my car because my battery was discharged, they couldn't help me go and take the car and they would put it in for me. How is the gas, I can't go. I live in Chinatown and they are all the way to Santa Monica. I understand that for security reasons, but they will be able to see my information that I bought a car from the company.
